I'm actually MOSTLY satisfied with this list, but is NOT perfect. Playing Soundless Voice for unlocks was my least favorite part of F 2nd, MEIKO got done dirty (my prediction list gave her Break It Break and Stay with me along with what she has but neither are in), classic/obvious songs are missing such a Roshin Yukai, Clover Club, Solitude's End, Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder etc. On the more positive side I'm glad we're getting any version of Dance Hall and I actually wasn't expecting Black Gold which is why it ended up as high as it did on my top 20 Colorful Tone. It's truly a mixed bag.
I'm sorry i do not know if its true but i heard that they release the new songs from the switch as a dlc for future tone so i guess IF it is really true and people are extremly bothered by the not included songs they could just go for the dlcs if they have a ps4 and the game (again i just heard it somewhere i do not know if its true if it is then just ignore)

Lisa Müller you’re right. Honestly, if you already have FT, there’s no reason to buy this game if you can just buy the dlc. The problem comes with people like me who only own Nintendo or Xbox consoles. I’ve only been able to play Mirai DX, and my 3DS just died, so this will be my only chance to play a proper Project Diva game (unless they choose to port FT to the switch in the future), so it’s more disappointing for us. Good song list overall though
I wish there were songs from Kikuo or Maretu. Also hoped for some Monaca:Factory, GYARI, Dateken, Harumaki Gohan, メル (Mer), KurageP, inabakumori, or Police Picadilly. Didn't rewatch it, but n-buna wasn't there either, right? Not sure if it's possible for it to happen, but a previously unreleased song by Shiinamota was recently released as well. Maybe not the right fit for this list, but his songs always touch me. May he rest in peace.

i wasn't satisfied at all with the list, but im definitely happy about the fact that all the songs composed by wowaka are here, I just wish they add unknown mother goose and that would make me happy forever.
I’d be surprised if UMG wasn’t one of the new songs. It was popular even before his passing. Since the game was likely in development before then I wouldn’t be surprised if they sought out the license when he could still sign it. I personally hope the credits include a “in memory of” for him.

I’m a little ticked at that. Dye is poorly engrished and it has a bad tune. The PV doesn’t make much sense. I’ll bet that the devs just wanted the people who speak only English to have a song that they can understand, but that’s the thing, we can’t! Maybe if they wanted a song in primarily English then they could have reached out to someone who makes half decent songs and speaks English
The thing that depresses me the most about this game honestly is that they add so many old songs, which isn’t bad, but someone like me would like a whole list of new songs for each different game. It gives a reason to buy the others.

I'm happy that they brought back Kimi no Taion. Even though people don't give it much recognition as other songs, it's one of my personal favorite songs
Yeah, it's actually #3 in my top 39 Miku songs (actually all but #2 are in Mega Mix but what do you expect when Love for Love by Love of Love is only a few months old). It's fairly fun and challenging in FT too so that alone warrants the spot imo.
I’m so PUMPED I’ve only played the 3ds one and there was a bunch I really wanted to play. Sadistic music factory, ghost rule, envy cat walk, freely tomorrow, hibikase, love-hate, luka luka night fever, magnet, melt, I could go on and on. I’m just sad they didn’t include matryoshka.
People like you are why I ultimately defend the game being structured this way. Also as someone that was still new to Diva it took me 3 hours to clear SMF the first time, but now I get at least a great rank whenever I try it. It takes a lot of practice but is ultimately really fun.
All of my "_ OR _" bits reflect the vocal options in Mirai/FT. I'd be surprised if the ones that already exist weren't included. Implementing more? Probably not.
I was honestly hoping for mothy's works like Daughter of Evil and Servant of Evil like they were in the 3Ds version. Servant of evil was the first Vocaloid song I heard and has been my favorite since.
Honestly, mothy songs would be a joy to have in project diva games since he uses so many different vocaloids. Imagine conchita and judgment of corruption and all the other sin series songs
It's better that they don't have Servant of Evil and other Mothy songs because the PVs would be really difficult to make. Not to mention that they would have to cut down a lot of the story to Servant of Evil, because it's six minutes long...

Add Roshin Yukai, Soltitude's End, and Clover Club and this is the biggest mood for me. I kinda wish we had the more thematically appropriate total of 139 (which would add 38 more slots if the total of new songs were to stay at 10) this tracklist actually could be perfect. FT has a colossal total of over 200, so it's easy to cut songs but also very difficult to narrow it down without leaving out great ones. I might do a video of what I'd want as those extra 38 for the fun of it. I'd love to gauge people's opinions on that.
afaik switch&ps4 doesnt support external musics like mp3 or something like that so if u want experience edit play u can only rely on ps3/vita/project diva pc fanmade game

Matryoshka would probably need to be a part of a special DLC pack of the GUMI songs in Mirai. They’d need the license to use her again as well as make an entirely new character model. I imagine such a pack would cost more than the rest, but I want Matryoshka back so bad I’d be willing to go up to $20 for such a pack if that’s what’s required for Internet Co to let her be included again.
I love food ik...even though it’s a game centered around miku, I feel like the other vocaloids could have a little more spotlight..like I love you miku but you get like 2/3 of the songs
i'm not gonna fucking lie, i cried listening to the songs here. almost everyday while i was in high school, on my way to and from school on the bus, i would listen to these songs on my mp3 player. listening to these songs made my day better nearly 6 or 7 years ago. im so glad i found this video.
For those complaining about wanting new songs, this is a LIST OF RETURNING SONGS... it does not include the 11 new songs to be added. And I’m sure there is PLENTY OF DLC in the future. If I know project diva how I do. Don’t be disappointed just yet.
No idea why so many people are saying it's 11 new songs- It's 10. The total is 101 and this is 91 songs... so 10 are new. If I had to guess it comes from people seeing that new songs are coming to FT too, knowing Catch the Wave will remain exclusive to Mega Mix, and assuming the DLC pack for FT would be 10 songs. That being said I really hope DLC remains actually new (this includes not yet ported Mirai songs and X songs) and we don't get a bunch of packs of stuff included in FT base tracklist. The theme song pack gets a pass since it's specifically meant to be an early adopter gift.

I hope this year’s Mirai song for MEIKO (Remnade Blue Longing) gets to be one of the 4 unannounced new songs. It’d make her seem slightly less snubbed.

Meiko and Kaito both got screwed in X. If its not Miku or RIn, Sega doesn't care. Only reason Luka is getting love is because its her 10th anniversary otherwise she'd get shafted too. Why the fuck is everyone so angry???? It’s a lot of (very good) songs, meiko is getting somewhat more attention, and a lot of classics are included (plus all of wowaka’s works). Appreciate that they’re giving us this game at all. Jesus Christ, you people are never happy. It looks like a great game so far, give it a chance before judging it.
I wish that one of the new songs is from Akuno-p or Masa, they have great songs and some of them are very recognizable, like Daughter of Evil or The Fox's Wedding 💖
I'm not so disappointed about this list. There are many good songs, but I hope they'll do some dlc (ESPECIALLY FOR SOME MEIKO'S SONGS C'MON). Still there are a lot of good Luka song and since she's my fave I'm pretty happy (even if Leia isn't there 😔)

@@alex-8736 - Of course it can. The Arcade machine has terrible hardware compared to the Nintendo Switch and it has no problems storing and running all of the modules and songs

I’m actually pretty happy with this list I haven’t really had the chance to play a Project Diva game since F2nd (since I don’t exactly have a PS4) and I’ve always wanted to play a number of songs from those games. I’m just glad I’ll finally get to play some of my favourites in Megamix since I actually own a Switch. Whether I’ll be any good is another story!
Pros: - All the Wowaka songs made it in. - Old and newer songs featured, similar to F2nd. - Thankfully, many terrible songs did not make it in, looking at you Nyanyanyanyanyanyanya, break;down, and Velvet Arabesque. - Quite a bit of love for Luka. - Lots of duet and group songs. - Most of the Project mirai songs that made it to the arcade also made it into this game. Cons: - Meiko got screwed out of a couple good songs, thinking specifically of Lover's Suicide Oblivion and Break It - No Iroha (moon, Roshin Yuukai) or Owata-p (Paradichlorobenzene, Rin-chan Now, One-Sided Love Samba) - Not enough kz/livetune and Oster project... - Only 1 Otetsu song made it (Black Gold), when his other two are just as good (Stardust Utopia, Meiteki Cybernetics) - LOTS of good songs cut. I was going to list them, but there's too many. I'm probably most disappointed at all the cut Len songs like the aforementioned benzene, as well as Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder, Out of Eden, and Dream-Eating Monochrome Baku... - DYE, Happiness Committee, Soundless Voice, LOL, and Sakura no Ame all somehow made it in - How the duck did From Y to Y make it in, but not Jimmythumb-P's other two big songs, Starduster and No Logic? Like wtf

I’d be surprised if UMG wasn’t one of the new songs. It was popular even before his passing. Since the game was likely in development before then I wouldn’t be surprised if they sought out the license when he could still sign it. I personally hope the credits include a “in memory of” for him.

I’ll bet that the devs just wanted the people who speak only English to have a song that they can understand, but that’s the thing, we can’t! Maybe if they wanted a song in primarily English then they could have reached out to someone who makes half decent songs and speaks English

The thing that depresses me the most about this game honestly is that they add so many old songs, which isn’t bad, but someone like me would like a whole list of new songs for each different game. It gives a reason to buy the others.

Yeah, it's actually #3 in my top 39 Miku songs (actually all but #2 are in Mega Mix but what do you expect when Love for Love by Love of Love is only a few months old). It's fairly fun and challenging in FT too so that alone warrants the spot imo.

I’m so PUMPED I’ve only played the 3ds one and there was a bunch I really wanted to play. Sadistic music factory, ghost rule, envy cat walk, freely tomorrow, hibikase, love-hate, luka luka night fever, magnet, melt, I could go on and on. I’m just sad they didn’t include matryoshka.
People like you are why I ultimately defend the game being structured this way.
Also as someone that was still new to Diva it took me 3 hours to clear SMF the first time, but now I get at least a great rank whenever I try it. It takes a lot of practice but is ultimately really fun.

If you want to play with other vocaloid, there are: megpoid the game for psp and IA/VT ( the game of IA) for ps vita :3

I was honestly hoping for mothy's works like Daughter of Evil and Servant of Evil like they were in the 3Ds version. Servant of evil was the first Vocaloid song I heard and has been my favorite since.
Honestly, mothy songs would be a joy to have in project diva games since he uses so many different vocaloids. Imagine conchita and judgment of corruption and all the other sin series songs
It's better that they don't have Servant of Evil and other Mothy songs because the PVs would be really difficult to make. Not to mention that they would have to cut down a lot of the story to Servant of Evil, because it's six minutes long...

Add Roshin Yukai, Soltitude's End, and Clover Club and this is the biggest mood for me. I kinda wish we had the more thematically appropriate total of 139 (which would add 38 more slots if the total of new songs were to stay at 10) this tracklist actually could be perfect. FT has a colossal total of over 200, so it's easy to cut songs but also very difficult to narrow it down without leaving out great ones. I might do a video of what I'd want as those extra 38 for the fun of it. I'd love to gauge people's opinions on that.

I’m gonna miss Dream Eating Monochrome Baku... also why did they use DYE and First Sound? We could’ve had Rakshasa and Carcasses or maybe Meltdown, Matryoshka... at least most of the songs are good.
Matryoshka would probably need to be a part of a special DLC pack of the GUMI songs in Mirai. They’d need the license to use her again as well as make an entirely new character model. I imagine such a pack would cost more than the rest, but I want Matryoshka back so bad I’d be willing to go up to $20 for such a pack if that’s what’s required for Internet Co to let her be included again.
If we’re getting matryoshka then we’ll be getting donut hole as well.

For those complaining about wanting new songs, this is a LIST OF RETURNING SONGS... it does not include the 11 new songs to be added. And I’m sure there is PLENTY OF DLC in the future. If I know project diva how I do. Don’t be disappointed just yet.
No idea why so many people are saying it's 11 new songs- It's 10. The total is 101 and this is 91 songs... so 10 are new. If I had to guess it comes from people seeing that new songs are coming to FT too, knowing Catch the Wave will remain exclusive to Mega Mix, and assuming the DLC pack for FT would be 10 songs.
That being said I really hope DLC remains actually new (this includes not yet ported Mirai songs and X songs) and we don't get a bunch of packs of stuff included in FT base tracklist. The theme song pack gets a pass since it's specifically meant to be an early adopter gift.

Why the fuck is everyone so angry???? It’s a lot of (very good) songs, meiko is getting somewhat more attention, and a lot of classics are included (plus all of wowaka’s works). Appreciate that they’re giving us this game at all. Jesus Christ, you people are never happy. It looks like a great game so far, give it a chance before judging it.
I wish that one of the new songs is from Akuno-p or Masa, they have great songs and some of them are very recognizable, like Daughter of Evil or The Fox's Wedding 💖

I'm not so disappointed about this list. There are many good songs, but I hope they'll do some dlc (ESPECIALLY FOR SOME MEIKO'S SONGS C'MON). Still there are a lot of good Luka song and since she's my fave I'm pretty happy (even if Leia isn't there 😔)

I don't understand why people are getting so worked up. I get it, I wanted Butterfly on your right shoulder and Lost one's weeping, but look at the list we got! It has great songs still! Acute came back and Magnet! Come on, stop asking for everything and be happy instead of complaining. The creators can't do everything.

@@alex-8736 - Of course it can. The Arcade machine has terrible hardware compared to the Nintendo Switch and it has no problems storing and running all of the modules and songs

I’m actually pretty happy with this list
I haven’t really had the chance to play a Project Diva game since F2nd (since I don’t exactly have a PS4) and I’ve always wanted to play a number of songs from those games. I’m just glad I’ll finally get to play some of my favourites in Megamix since I actually own a Switch. Whether I’ll be any good is another story!
I'm well happy with this list tbh can't wait
Pros:
- All the Wowaka songs made it in.
- Old and newer songs featured, similar to F2nd.
- Thankfully, many terrible songs did not make it in, looking at you Nyanyanyanyanyanyanya, break;down, and Velvet Arabesque.
- Quite a bit of love for Luka.
- Lots of duet and group songs.
- Most of the Project mirai songs that made it to the arcade also made it into this game.
Cons:
- Meiko got screwed out of a couple good songs, thinking specifically of Lover's Suicide Oblivion and Break It
- No Iroha (moon, Roshin Yuukai) or Owata-p (Paradichlorobenzene, Rin-chan Now, One-Sided Love Samba)
- Not enough kz/livetune and Oster project...
- Only 1 Otetsu song made it (Black Gold), when his other two are just as good (Stardust Utopia, Meiteki Cybernetics)
- LOTS of good songs cut. I was going to list them, but there's too many. I'm probably most disappointed at all the cut Len songs like the aforementioned benzene, as well as Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder, Out of Eden, and Dream-Eating Monochrome Baku...
- DYE, Happiness Committee, Soundless Voice, LOL, and Sakura no Ame all somehow made it in
- How the duck did From Y to Y make it in, but not Jimmythumb-P's other two big songs, Starduster and No Logic? Like wtf
too bad... i was like why did Hand in Hand only included as Kz song?..

Why no Ievan Polkka. Even my mom liked that song. I think that if they come out with other DLC's they will add the other songs that didn't make the cut like Ievan Polkka.
