The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been becoming increasingly popular with movie fans for a while now, and it continues to impress with ultra popular series like Iron Man, Captain America and Guardians of the Galaxy (not to mention the Avengers!).
One of the things Marvel has done best is stringing their whole universe together, using little moments to foreshadow spoilers for movies that haven’t even been made yet! This has lead to Marvel fans looking for clues as to what might be the next nugget that tells the future of this amazing franchise.
The MCU so far has been built around the quest for the six Infinity stones, and one theory suggests that Heimdall’s eyes and abilities indicate the location of the Soul stone. Another stone, the Reality stone, could be used to recast some of our favourite roles.
There really is no limit to theories in the MCU. Some think that Peggy Carter is actually Tony Stark’s real mother. Some think that the Red Skull is still alive and the Hand is creating vampires. One theory suggests that Captain America will die in the next Avengers movie, another has Stan Lee’s cameos being much more, and yet another thinks Groot comes from a piece of the Yggdrasil, the world tree.

Groot is the king of his species (which would explain why he is so loyal and strong groot was mostly the strongest of his species) but fled his planet bc he was commanding an army in a losing war and losing the war would result in total annihilation of his species so he fled his home planet with half his army hoping to find help to fight and take the planet back. He found the nova core and basically asked for help and they gave him a small fleet (25-30 ships) of nova fighters and went back to groots planet and everyone was killed (thats why the nova core knows nothing about groots planet) except groot and one other of his species (which he sent down to terra) with the orders to plant with itself in the ground in a low populated area in hope of his species become unextinct. Groot traveled through space for many many years until he met rocket. Rocket is the only one who can understand groot bc on part of the testing on rocket was a chip to be able to understand and speak any language.

The reality gem explains why there are two Quicksilvers. It explains why you never see the X-Men in the MCU. Either the reality gem, or Franklin Richards created the Foxverse, (Earth10005) which is the pocket universe where the X-Men reside. Franklin Richards, or the reality stone could be plot devices to get the Fantastic Four into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I think Groot is more like a half immortal, he might live forever, but has do relive his life instead of being his normal age again.
and he has to be planted again order to survive. if no one is able to plant him, he wont be born again. so if no ones left alive in the universe, he basically dies permanently. but if there are people and someone to look after him while he grows then he’s almost practically immortal but not fully, cause he does die, its just all up to someone else helping groot if he does die. lol a lot to explain

At 4:16 is shows Groot's species which is proof that he isn't the immortal tree. Also the "Origin X" is probably a reference to Planet X which is where the Flora colossus, Groot's species, is from.

Howard didn't resent Tony. Watch IM2. He was a lousy father because he was pretty much EXACTLY like Tony would be with a kid, aka obsessed with his work to the point of neglecting his child. Still, in the film Tony sees in IM2, Howard makes a point of telling Tony that he's the best thing Howard's ever done. Still not great father love there, but I tend to think it's more because Howard's just crap at expressing himself. That was pretty obvious in Agent Carter.

Groot is supposed to be the king of his race. The collector even states "I never thought I'd see a groot" and then proceeds to offer money for his corpse.
Groot is not the comic`s King Groot he is one normal Groot from the Planet X and in a comic you can see when he meet Rocket, who has crashed in his planet .
Groot help him escape from the Planet X, but doing this he brake the rules of his race... So he is exhilaited from his planet and he choose to go with Rocket .

Actually it was confirmed in an interview that baby Groot is a new Groot and that the Groot that we met in the first guardians of the galaxy is actually his son. And on scrip, all the dialogue for groot is actually there, they don't just make his say "I am groot" Senselessly. When he dies with the snap in the avengers, the "I am groot" he says before he vanishes means "Dad?"
