Very informative. It should be noted that there is a valid difference of opinions with regards to the number of takbeers for the Eid Salah, amongst the four schools of thought. But this should NOT be a matter of division. May Allah accept all our ibadaah through His Mercy.
The narrations on this subject are very clear, seven takbirs are made before the recitation in the first rakat, five takbirs are made in the second rakat.
This & similar videos should be played before every eid salah so ppl learn the etiquettes especially for those who start greeting or walking away right after the salah....so annoying and sad. Eid Mubarak!

Can i explain how people from my town celebrate eid and someone please tell me if this is correct. Men go and pray eid prayer. Then they take their sons (daughters aswell if they are smaller than puberty) and go to their neighbours and relatives houses to greet them and for usually 5-10minutes. But when they go their houses they are greeted by the relative's daughters and wives , grandmas etc (all the females) who stay in their homes. Then when they depart the wives give some money to the kids. I this correct? This seems wrong to me since why are men going to relatives houses to be greeted by non mahram women etc
Brother I think you need to rethink your connection with Ali Dawah considering his open statements against the scholars of Islam and his opposition to the correct understanding of Islam and calling to this biddah. His close association with Muhammad Hijab who criticises books like Usool Al Thalatha and the Salafi books of Aqeedah is also very troubling
