- Every week, we go to the @HSTBmedia (Humane Society of Tampa Bay) to take photos of shelter pets, to give them a Second Shot at finding a home.
Second Shot is our adoption photo program with @FairyTailPetCare.
We used an @insta360 X4 to capture the entire shoot.
Move your camera around or swipe with your finger to see the entire shoot.

Brilliant to see this, thanku
Thank you! Think we should do more?
@agoldphotopetphotographyst5683 yes definitely, if its not a faff to do, I love seeing BTS rescue stuff, can relate to it and it's very interesting. What struck me is your calmness, you don't say too much, just clear instructions and of course funny noises as required!
Yeah! We try and keep it really calm and I also like to be in control! Most photogs I talk to say there shoots are chaotic. I try and keep it fun but also calm for the dogs sake.
Please tell me you have a good way to clean up that backdrop in post unless you are just going for the headshots. I just did a shoot last week and had a dog do the same. He wasn't nervous. He just wanted to explore the break room with all those wonderful smells, lol. You can't blame them. They're out and the want to explore especially if there are food smells.
Sure do! We use Retouch4Me Clean Backdrop Plugin for Photoshop.
@@agoldphotopetphotographyst5683 I didn't know about that. I would use the exposure in LR for white backdrops. I'll have to check it out. Thanks! I did use paper at the shelter but was going through it really fast. I then switched to fabric as I could wash it. It has problems too like wrinkles even though it's advertised as wrinkle resistant. Now I'm thinking about going back to paper but using a floor drop that is washable/cleanable. That way I can save my paper. Trying to be economical on this and still make it look good. Seems every type of backdrop has it's pros and cons. Thanks for sharing your videos and behind the scenes. Like I said, I had a dog who acted just like this last week. He was just all over the place. I think he was just excited being out and being in the employee break room. Lots of food smells in there, lol. That's another problem with backdrops in there. I don't have a lot of space to work with. It's okay I do the best I can. I think I need to change my light set up too. I was in the garage area which had more space but then a gutter runs through the middle of it. It's an old building. They didn't think of providing places for photoshoots when they built it. There's another shelter nearby that got a major remodel, basically rebuilt. I thought about visiting there to see if they provide some space for photoshoots. I know that's not an everyday thing but the space could also be used as a meet and greet room if they did. Thanks again!!!
