I’m here because I’m a huge George Fell supporter. Go George!

This is REALLY, really important...a lot of videos (and instructors) fast-forward into the (somewhat) complex moves required to Eskimo roll.
Everyone gets disoriented 'downstairs'...under water and upside down (and, your body is telling you: trapped in this thing...even though you're not).
IMO it's really important to spend some time like this fooling around with the boat, under water, so the student is comfortable 'downstairs'.
(Otherwise they forget whatever we told them to do 'upstairs', before pushing them over to execute.)
Really good to edge the boat. I always start by having them find the edge of 2ndary stability...that point where the boat can return to upright or roll upside down...because that's the point we have to pass when rolling back up. Good stuff!

This is great stuff! Note that the rescuer is able to roll their partner up because the partner is "kissing the deck" (keeping their center of gravity low).

How do you guys deal with the water flowing into the nasal cavities? Some people seem to just handle that with no problems, while with others the water fiills the nose and make them feel like drowning( specially upside down)
