Im a little confused. Is the Bluetooth 5.3 Adapter at the top of the post the newer preferred device you were mentioning wasn't yet available?

Hello is there any other way than jabra dongle? For example like bluetooth card? Or you need the additional software and windows is unable to maintain high quality microphone and audio. Thanks 😅

Hello I have a Problem accuring when i change to the 44100 hz headset mode. Because I dont get any sound sadly if I choose this option can you help me fix that?
My issue is volume. My YT volume is at 100%, and my system sound has to be at least 80% to be able to hear anything. It’s way too quiet. Obviously they work great with my Mac, iPad, and iPhone, but Windows just doesn’t play nice with them.

You need to disconnect and reconnect to the AirPods. But them back in the case, wait a bit then take them back out

this is cool and all, but the problem is that the stereo option doesn't exist, and when i turn on the no tele option then it no longer shows up in my system sound options, I do not know why. my computer is fairly new and im am extremely confused

Sadly nothing can fix the Bluetooth latency which cripples these for use on PC. I tested them with Halo and there's what feels like an entire second between firing a gun and hearing the shot. People lips in youtube videos don't appear in sync either but not quite as bad.
Exactly, and id assume the reason behind videos having less delay than games is because the game audio is cannot be predetermined and synced with the image unlike a yt video.

My problem with it is that the volume is too low for some reason even with just the sound option of the headphones....you have a fix for that?
go to sound settings, properties on your air pods, enhancements and activate loudness equallization
mine i just super laggy and choppy i cant even hear the sound until like 30s later and its fuzzy
Is there a Windows 11 solution for this? The UI changes between OS versions has made this a difficult task haha
windows 11 is natively compatible with the bluetooth codec for the airpods, so they sound far better in headset mode
@@blueface105 trouble is because the settings look different I can’t find a way to swap them to Headset mode in Windows 11. It’s like the option just doesn’t exist to look at “advanced settings” or anything.
@@HopperChopperthere is no need for the handset mode because they arent treated as two different devices anymore. Previously windows treated them as two different devices because the codec for high fidelity and headset functionality wasnt supported. now it is
@@HopperChopper addendum to my last reply: your bt adapter (integrated or not) must support aac too or else you will have the same telephone quality handset issues. A number of devices like the one apple sells in the store for airplanes should help. the bezos store has a few good options
Does disabling the Handsfree Telephony service still grant the user the ability to use the AirPods microphone? I am unable to use the mic with Teams, WebEx, etc. After doing this. The option for the AirPods microphone does not even populate as an input device for these applications (only as an output device). That being said, the audio coming from the computer is much better. I just need a way to utilize the mic.
There is not enough Bluetooth bandwidth for both the microphone and the headset to work properly on windows. The solution in the video makes the Airpods function only as an output device, not an input device.

good morning, this is an interesting video, but i have one other problem, that i want quest to you: my airpods connected in headset mode, have 16 bit 8khz connection for listen, and 16 bit 8 khz for microphone. before the quality was more better..
How i can set an high value?
i have another pair of economic headset (about 20$) and i can run that with 16 bit 16khz for listen and 16 bit 16 khz for mic.

Is there a way to reverse this? I want to be able to use my Airpods Pro microphone again, but when I try to reenable Handsfree Telephony, I get an error that says, "The parameter is incorrect." I've tried removing the AirPods from the Bluetooth list and reconnecting them, but Handsfree Telephony is still disabled and I cannot enable it.
"Have you tried turning it off and back on?" I feel like such an idiot when that's the answer. I've been troubleshooting for about an hour and that ended up doing the trick.

Now my mic won’t work this used to work on my other pc with windows 11
it makes me not able to hear anything at all, it goes through my speaker instead of my headphones
But that doesn´t explain why earbuds work perfectly with smartphones as headsets, right?
It didn't work right away I need to disconnect my airpods and reconnect it again and boom now it worked with better sound quality. Thanks.

When i connect my airpods to my pc i only have the Hands free audio version. I dont have the option to choose stereo audio at all. How do i fix this? Been looking online for this for months now....

The knock-off airpods actually sound better than the original on windows. Which is weird. but it is bad on iphones and ipods. maybe apple products are just not compatible on windows.

i turned it off and now i cant turn it back on lmao. no sound at all coming from the headphones now. Trying to remove it from windows control panel or from Bluetooth results in error. GG
My solution to fix this issue after windows support was trying to factory reset my pc because they couldn’t figure out the issue, was to go into device manager and uninstall all of my Bluetooth drivers.
