By shilling dumb fitness products and exaggerating about the weather? -64C is a one time record low and not typical in the slightest. I'm not saying it's not cold, but it ain't -64.
This channel is incredible. Beautifully shot, well narrated, the story telling is great and it feels like an authentic look into folks’ lives. Keep up the great work and stay warm!
I myself am a sweaty hog, so I sweat all the time. These videos makes me wonder how I'd fare if I stayed for a while in Yakutsk. Ice fishing especially seemed nice.
My furnace broke in the middle of winter last year and I had to wait 2 months to get a new one. It got down to -15 F and of course I could see my breath inside! Had to use an electric heater and a propane heater but it never got above 45F. I can't imagine -75F??!!! When I get another house I am making sure it has a wood burning stove!! Thanks for a wonderful journey to an incredible land.
I love the guy that was out running and said "it's very hot today". I think I need to move to Yakutsk... I grew up in Connecticut and I haven't owned a coat in probably a decade. And I only have one hoodie that I wear occasionally through the winter. I sweat all year long, even in the middle of winter. When I walk into the grocery store people look at me like I'm sick because I'm sweating in a t-shirt in the middle of winter in Connecticut. Maybe if I move to Yakutsk I will finally be comfortable and stop sweating... But I don't like fish or any seafood....
Hi Kiun B, So nice to actually see you in your video. The ice bathing looks fascinating. If I were to choose from each of the different activities, I think I would enjoy the ice fishing the most. Of course, hiking to the Lena Pillar were be amazing too. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Safe travels and best wishes always.
Thanks for sharing your perspective from the other side of the world. ✌️ It's truly amazing to see how people live their lives in different areas. 🙂 Of the many negatives there can be, this is one of the positive things about the internet and social media.
Honestly, this place is beautiful. I have always thrived in cold weather, and I wonder what it would be like to live here. Thank you for sharing these videos! ♥
We do this same in Finland. But you have to remember, since the ice is broken and there is water visible, it is above 0°C or seawater couple of degrees below freezing. After Sauna 80°C - 100°C, I mean Finnish Sauna, outside temperature doesn't feel nothing, only the 0.1°C water feels shocking. Myself, I recommend jump to the snow, it is not water and since it's in solid mode, it is colder than water since it is frozen. The snow feels much more shocking.
I love your work on this channel! I love meeting the locals and the stories they have to tell. It is like meeting neighbors and visiting a while! I see good people and a wonderful culture💕 it is nice to meet you!
Hello Kiun, "Your storytelling throughout the video was truly captivating! Always a joy to watch your content, sending lots of love from India 🇮🇳 Keep up the amazing work!"
Life isn't same for everyone. Some people will love to live in a cold weather and some people wil love to live in hot weather.. So be proud who you are and where are you from life is short. Enjoyed every moment. Love from India.
the quality of the video plus the cinemato is incredible Kiun! And ofcourse as always the content is informative, great job yet again. we love learning more about Yakutsk
I always look forward to your wonderful, adventurous videos, and this fits the category. In addition, it was extremely informative and very educational. Thank you so much, and great fortune toward your journey to a better SELF!
4:28 Today was hot (-40C)! I suppose all temperature is relative. I remember people in Brazil saying 15C was "cold". Amazing lifestyle....would have loved to visit Siberia.
I love your channel so much. I discovered it 2 years ago and I have been hooked ever since. I get so excited when you post a new video. I am going to make it my life's goal to visit Yakutsk one day
An other thing I'd like to tell you is about the Lena Pillars. It is a magical place. It looks extremely beautiful in the winter when everything is frozen. It feels like you're in a fairy tale. Beautiful.
Hi... Kiun... After a long time ur video has come... I eagerly wait for ur video...Ur videos Give me so much positivity... Last yr I was going through tough times... Ur videos helped me much... Take love ❤and respect...from India🇮🇳...
Я с Урала, у нас тоже бывает уххх холодно, но Якутские холода это уже другой уровень. Смотрю ваши видео и диву даюсь, насколько экстремальные условия способен выдержать человек. Спасибо!
Saying it’s so hot at -40 degrees Celsius for me is absolutely insane but in a good way I love learning type of things and would LOVE to go to Yakutia looks absolutely gorgeous 🙏
But wet, packy snow is way better than dry snow! You can make snowmen and the snow sticks to rooftops and in the trees and makes everything look magical. That doesn't happen with dry snow...
I live in the Mediterranean and I don't go swimming in water that's less than 20 degrees Celsius, lol!! It's incredible what these ice-bathing people do. Obviously it's doing them very good. I loved to see all the beautiful nature in this video. One day, I hope to visit Yakutia. It's been my dream for many years ❤
I'm glad you are sponsored by so many different companies, and I totally understand devoting a section of your video to showcasing your sponsor's product, but this video seemed like it was one long ad for copilot. I really love your videos, but I love it more when it is less about products and more about experiences.
I will forever be amazed by how you all are living in such conditions! I feel like I am gonna freeze when the temperature hits 0 degrees in my city🤣 I am really not used to the cold, i love seeing your videos and they ways people adapt to live their lives as normally as possible. Great video, as always !
Amazing video . Thanks a lot for showing the life in the world's coldest city. The most interesting that I felt is the ice fishing. Expecting more videos like this. With love from Kerala, India
Because of your videos Kiun, Yakutia is definitely on my travel bucket list now! The people of Yakutia seem to be some of the kindest and liveliest people on earth ❤
I really have a lot of respect for Yakutian people. The way they stay fit is right top I watched all your videos and I like them a lot. I picked up a lot of things from these videos. The sponsor is perfect for you as you are already doing it to keep in shape and trying to lead a healthy life
Thank you for the videos you post. Other cultures are so very interesting to me. When all is said and done we are much alike. We live, love, learn. I would love to see you interview every family, that is willing, to show us a day in the life of their family. Beautiful people. :)
Cold temperatures make me less tired! But I live in london. I've been waiting for that -8. The lowest temperature I felt this year was just -6°C, I didn't even feel the cold and it was just for a bit.
Wonderful uploads with a lot info about your culture. I wonder if a person born in a different place than Yakutsk would be able to adapt to the conditions of Yakutsk - Siberia. Thank you for all your videos. Cheers ...
There is a long interview in TH-cam with a Jamaican girl who lives in Yakutsk and pretty happy. I didnt risk to search for a link because Im in my phone and would have lost your comnent anyway. But you can try to search for it, she is very positive and funny girl.
Beautiful! It's scary enough to take a shower with cold water, so it's truly amazing that people do ice bathing in Yakutsk, the coldest place in the world.
