You're NOT failing us Morgan. I am extremely sure, us all over the world who watch your content, if we were within driving distance, that we would come over and do your chores whilst you put your feet up and let that toe heal. If you're still hobbling around on it and still not letting it heal the bones will heal where they're not supposed to and give you issues specially in winters 😮
If I lived in the states I would offer to help care for the animals as i do have animal care and animal management qualifications even though I have chronic pain and mobility issues I definitely would offer assistance
Don't be so hard on yourself, Morgan. Give yourself the time you need to heal. If you get down on yourself, it will only make the situation worse. Why not use that special boot that keeps your foot flat and wrap very well in plastic when you go outside.
Not even 30s in and I need to comment to send you a hug. You aren't failing Morgan. You're a little broken, just like we all get sometimes. You'll heal and come back stronger than ever, I know it. ETA after watching the video: I think it might be time to get some help Morgan. You are most assuredly not going to heal in 5 weeks if you don't *rest* there's a reason it's listed first in the RICE therapy acronym. Honestly this whole broken toe conundrum you have really puts into perspective of the troubles older farmers have in terms of being a farmer. Your toe will heal in a few weeks, but imagine it being like that forever. How lawmakers expect older farmers to walk their entire perimeter of their fence to update markings on trees because of hunters is frankly ridiculous when a healthy man with a broken toe can barely get his farm chores done around the small area of his farm.
Lawmakers don't expect elderly people to update their signs. They expect "people" to update their signs. Its hardly discrimination to require all landowners to stay compliant.
@@PFirefly06 Ah yes. They expect them to either have ppl willing to do it for free or to have the funds to hire someone to do it for them. That's not at all discriminatory...
Gov been failing farmers since 1880's when new tech kept prices low while loans still charge interest. Money was difficult to come by bec gov didn't print new money. Old Civil War era paper bills were literally used until they fell apart. Gov wouldn't allow silver to be turned into coins; only gold. Hence William Jennings Bryant's "Cross of Gold" speech and the "Silver Brick Road" in the Wizard of Oz book. Now we have "crop insurance" schemes to make sure seed & pesticide companies get paid for farmers to plant too much. Basic Income would allow people to make our own choices, but brain geniuses say everyone would quit their jobs if they got $1,000 per month.
Morgan, if you need an extra pair of hands to help you get caught up on chores, ASK SOMEONE. You have plenty of friends nearby! Alfred would be there in a flash to help out if you called him.
@defeqel6537 as far as I know, his farm operation doesn't generate enough profits to justify paying a farmland. But, it's not a bad idea to hire someone at a loss until Morgan is healed. Morgan doesn't count social media revenue as farming income and there are a lot of valid reasons to operate that way.
@@silenceofdoomYou do realise that the farm is NOT a means to a living and that his main job is TH-camr and social media content creator right? The farm is just the content of his videos. He literally makes THOUSANDS of dollars PER MONTH from social media.
Was thinking similar and wished with so many that are homeless and having to use food banks, that there aren't Governnment programs that one could contact and arrange 'temporary placement' of them with someone like Morgan who could provide both shelter and food, in return for a day's help. i.e.: Similar to the old Barter Systerm that my Great Grand Parents shared stories about those riding the rails, during the great depression etc.
@@canukmrsben The guvamint won't do that, too much potential for risk of injury to the volunteers. But I guar-an-tee you there's a local church program that helps the homeless with job placement that would be happy to send Morgan a couple of volunteers for a month (in exchange for room & board) until his toe heals up.
"You can do anything, but you cannot do everything." The work on homesteads and farms is never done. Cut yourself some slack! One day at a time, we appreciate your content!!!!!
You're not on a clock. Work will ALWAYS be there. Do what you can do easily. Do what you MUST do when it's no longer avoidable. Rest that bad wheel and give it more time. You'll be fine.
Hi Morgan. You are not failing! You are learning to work around obstacles we all have at some point in our lives. Give yourself a break. It can be overwhelming when you can't do what you normally are used to. Try to reach out to your local 4H programs. They may have some students that can get credit or learning from working with you. Good luck and hang in there. We are all rooting for you, or we would not be watching your channel. Take care of yourself.
Morgan, look after yourself, get some help! You are doing great! Also, in regarts to the goats - maybe get rid of the ramp-idea and rather go with different sized steps for them to climp up on. Goats love those, it's more interactive and catering to their nature. We had a playarea for them made out of old tires filled with soil, stacked on each other to create little platforms on different elevations. They loooved climping up and being able to overlook the place. best wishes to all of you!
Morgan, I feel your pain! I fell and broke my ankle! I have a boot that I wear most of the day. I too was anxious about the healing process but I remind myself that the end result is that I want to be able to walk properly. You can't hurry the process because your feet are so very important to your daily life. Take care of yourself.
When I broke my leg in December, it was super humbling. I went from being an active farmer to being in a wheelchair for 8 weeks. If it hadn't been for my wonderful husband idk what i would have done. He took over all the chores both farm and house (even putting away my spoiled turkeys every night by hand, and he's not a fan of large birds😂), and it was very eye-opening. As I healed, i wasn't able to accomplish my regular spring plantings, and I had to scale back everything which was devastating to my ego and business. But what could I do? I could only do what I could, and it took me months to quit beating myself up over it. We have expectations for ourselves that sometimes are out of reach and sometimes we have to let those go. I think you're doing a great job, hang in there and dont get discouraged!🫶
I broke my right upper arm when I tripped at home. Talk about being a humbling experience. I live alone, so I had to ask for help with nearly everything. Many tasks were things I learned to do with my left hand. Some tasks I farmed out and a few I had to pay $ to have someone else do it for me. I learned a lot about asking for help. Single people are often fiercely independent and I am one of those 😮. I did make it through. I missed a month of work and pay but jumped right back to work ASAP. Being on the older side, my arm didn't heal as quickly as a younger person's would. Right after the arm repaired, I had previously scheduled a hip replacement surgery, but that was no surprise, obviously. My concern was whether my arm would hold up while I recovered from the hip surgery. It did, thank goodness. All this to say, where there is the will...... You can get just about anything accomplished.
Injury depression is so real, especially when we move a lot throughout our days. ❤ dont forget Morgan, often its just a feeling, and not a fact. You arent failing us, or yourself - even if you really feel that you are. In fact, showing us that its not all happy and sunshine is probably more helpful than you realise. Sending healing thoughts to you. Have an extra hot drink today, you deserve it ❤
Goals are just goals… don’t stress the small stuff. Your living a good life, have a wonderful wife. Just take it slow. And everything will be fine. Love from Canada.
You must take care of yourself first! I broke my leg two years ago when I fell off a ladder while painting my garage. I had 2 surgeries and had to be off my leg for 12 weeks! It was mid June and I’d planted a garden and had many plans for the summer. That came to a screeching halt. I had to let it all go and work to healing. I’ve had two successful gardens and lots of projects behind me. It’s life and we just have to change focus sometimes but it doesn’t last forever.
I get you even though I just a backyard homesteader. This past spring when it was time to put in summer seedlings, I was going through aggressive radiation therapy . I had all these plants that needed to go in and I was miserable! Fortunately a couple of friends came to help and things go planted. When I was better it was kind of fun figuring out where things were planted. You’re not an imposter, you are legit and let no one tell you differently, even your own brain! We got you!
Five years ago I adopted my rescue dog Miska, who is Pyr-and-many-other-breeds. She's now about 7. She looks and acts much like Abby. Last night I noticed she still wiggles with her whole body like puppies do. I suspect neither she nor Abby will ever learn to curb their enthusiasm. Working dog? Nope. Perpetual reminder to just love being alive? The best.
It's pretty normal for dogs to not necessarily make perfect working dog. Indeed most fail out.. farm or gun dog. People often expect they can just "TRAIN" an animal.. but it is not so. Just the same a guide dogs really. Most font make perfection Many are pet grade And that's fine
I second what Meenha said, I'm sure there's lots of folks who watch your videos who would love to help out on the farm while you relax. You gotta take as long as you need to heal and maybe right now is the time you stop and smell the roses a bit. Take more time for yourself and plan what you want not just when your toe heals but next year's plans for the farm. Remember, if you ever feel bad, just hang out with the goatie goats. They'll prove we support you (plus they'll brighten your day!)
Morgan, please stop beating yourself up. We know you're struggling. Healing takes time. Be patient with yourself. Sure you're off schedule, but hey life happens. Just do what you can. Ask for help on what you can't. And remember tomorrow is a new day.
You are not failing us and not really even failing yourself. You've hit a rough spot and you'll work through it. We love the channel and are happy to watch you sort things out. It reminds us all that we're human.
You're right, when you are hurt or can't do the things you normally do. it really is frustrating and draining. It sucks, and we're all here to listen. Stay positive, my man. It will heal and you and the animals will be back to your normal chaos.
I have severe chronic pain and feeling guilty because you can't do things, or can't do things efficiently, is something that's perfectly natural to feel. It's okay to put yourself first and do less when you don't feel good. Take time to self soothe on your bad days and push on better ones. Most importantly, remember to accept help when you need it.
Hello to a fellow in the chronic pain brigade parade! Just remember to give yourself some grace on the bad days, especially when the bad days cluster together. They make the good days shine all the brighter
You pretty much summed up what I was going to say. This resonated so hard with me as I also have chronic pain and fatigue. Learning to give yourself grace is hard, even at the best of times.
Hi Morgan, maybe we can have goat cams, puppy cams and cow cams and you can tell us stories in the voice over😊 Hope you heal quickly, many Blessings to you ❤
You may want to consider renting a 'ditch' digging machine to get the water line from the spring down to the farm, barnyard, and pond. They rent for about $350 a day, but after we used one to dig lines for water pumps around our farm, it was the BEST investment EVER! Time saving, easy to use, ripped through clay soil like paper, and worked great! Then you can lay the water pipe below the frost line and not have to worry about the water freezing.
If we need to tell you 1000 times, you are not failing us, we will. You do what you need to, to be comfortable. Illnesses happen and we understand. If it means you do more live farm talks from the comfort of your office, then great. Don't be so hard on yourself. Loving the content either way.
I can certainly understand. I smashed my right knee into a sidewalk paver last week. Today I can finally stand on it well enough to take a shower. I was in the process of reorganizing my.books and craft supplies. Was I able to clean all up in time for out of town guests? At least I have a good reason. As you can see we all have these times. We just have to forgive ourselves and continue on. It does no good to beat yourself up.
I would suggest a boot cast for walking, huge benefit for me when I had a foot amputated in an accident a few years ago. Super support, relieves pain and you can really clip along wearing it. They do have a "rocking" feeling but you soon get use to that. Best to be fitted by a professional, here we would go to a Pharmacy that sells such things for suggestions good for you and want your activities are. I wore mine for almost 2 years, can't wear when driving though. You will have to use your imagination for keeping it dry in the long wet grass but I swear by them. Love your videos don't let a little walking issue get you down, it will be healed in no time.
Quit beating yourself up!!! WE will be just fine. Am sure WE have all been injured at one time or another. Re-evaluating your goals and plans is a GOOD thing. Set yourself up for success! The fact that you are able to go out and do ANY chores is amazing!! Prayers to you healing quickly!
If your boots have the space, you could try putting a board in the boot to keep your foot from bending. Cut a piece of scrap plywood into a foot-shape and slide in like a cushion-sole. Make the board as thick as you can while still allowing you to put your boot on. And when your foot heals...keep the board in case of any future injuries.
Failure is a rather strong, and often overused, word. What is happening is clearly more of a reset, and reappraisal of what is realistically achievable. That isn't failing. It's just learning to compromise in the aftermath of a few unexpected set-backs. The ability and willingness to reappraise and adjust your goals isn't a sign of failure, it is a signal of robust survival ability. Proof that you are playing the true long-game as opposed to a quick in and equally quickly catastrophic out.
I completely understand. I have a couple chronic health conditions that often severely limit my physical abilities. I also had a lumbar back fusion last year. There are so many things I want to to and I want to do it myself. It sucks when our bodies don't cooperate with our brains. I have been trying to finish remodeling my house that started in 2018. You have to accept the current status of your abilities and let your foot heal. ❤ Ask for help, temporarily hire a teenager or someone who needs to make a little money for the holidays. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming. ❤
If it makes you feel better, Morgan, I've pressure fractured both center bones in my feet where my toes connect to my foot. So, both feet, about a year apart. I never went to the doctor or changed my walking habits. Without a boot or babying, it took my right foot an entire year to heal, and it still gives me issues. I fractured my left foot in May, so I'm dealing with it again. I walk at least a mile daily for my physical and mental health. Between walking and chasing after a five-year-old, it rarely gets rest. The best I can do is wear good, supportive exercise shoes and do my best. I'm 5 months into recovery, 7 more to go! :D
Pablo is very concerned for your health. :3 Watching over you as you walk. Goats are natural lawnmowers. Even more efficient than cows. All the brush in yard is going to disappear. Abby: "I r food taster for the chikens. Make sure nothing suspicious in their food!"
Oh, Morgan! I'm so sorry about how all this is affecting you! You're NOT failing!! Rest for your foot is really what you need....along with real, hands-on help. I'd love to help you, and I'm very capable.....but I'm in N.C.!! Thanks for sharing all this with us. Take good care. PS: What, if anything, can we do to help?
Your doing the best you can with your foot...it's okay...no problem...I will still watch you even if you just show us duck or chicken zen. Don't Worry Be Happy!!!!❤😊
I really enjoyed the part about tree grafting (I enjoyed the whole video, but I hadn't ever seen that). You should do a video about that someday. Hope you heal up faster than you anticipate!
All good. Everyone should remember that small farms are often multi-generational operations where both current adults provide the bulk of the labor, with grandparents and children helping out as they can in the appropriate capacities. Morgan is soloing this!!!
I broke my foot and have hips that act up all the time ( hips worse because of awkward walk with bad foot) I broke my foot in 2013.. I resemble your walk often.. foot injuries never fully heal in a lot of cases.. I wish you well and I feel for you!
I'm on crutches. First time in my 55 years. What used to take 5 minutes takes 20 and oh the ice time drives my brain crazy. I can thunk of everything I need to do to get ready for winter. The mental pains are beyond taxing for me. I feel worthless and depressed. But we will make it, just way slower than I'm used to! Hang in there! And this too shall pass
Morgan-I feel your pain! I broke my toe (metatarsal) about a year and a half ago. I tripped over a 30 pound box of cat litter! How embarrassing! I wore that dumb boot for 8 weeks. Luckily I worked an office job, so I wasn't out and about like you. It was very painful!
You are doing great, please don't be so hard on yourself. Look how far you've come, you're one of the most productive people I have seen. Your farm is my dream, and I love your videos and so do many others. Have a great recovery, good wishes from Minnesota.
There are hard sole shoes that you can wear, most drs wear them, like a hard sole croc is what I wore. They do sell them they are waterproof. But you are damaging your foot the longer you go. If it’s higher in your foot, I did, that it doesn’t hurt until the day goes on. You need to find or make a hard sole shoe. If you can find high tops buy those leg covers you put around your shins. Also carry a walking pole to help lean on it will make you more stable on the uneven ground. Also you could save yourself, your foot and time in getting those covered gravity chicken feeders, the rest thrown treat spread around. The gravity ones you don’t have to fill it every day, and it has smaller holes for the chickens to keep Abby out. If needed hang them a few inches off the ground to protect from flooding, use a saw horse and hang from that so you can move it around.
If you feel like you're failing us (wich you are not fyi), filming with less cinematic camera angles, angles that don't make you have to walk back and forth it's a way to get a video out feel a accomplished wich helps your feeling of being a failure and also not over exert yourself
You have had a really rough and difficult year, from losses of calves and chickens and a pig, and the floods....now the painful foot!!!....you do wonderful, wonderful videos. Please know you are great farmer and person. Thank you. Please be good to yourself
I feel your pain in feeling like you're falling behind. I'm still rehabbing a knee. Because of knee and dealing with a parent in their last days I've not kept up with weeds. Causing a dominoe affect of bringing mice in. I'm allergic. So I'm limited on time out working. But I've been able to keep a garden and chickens cared for. So I'm counting it as a win. As long as your animals are fed/watered you're doing fine. Btw. I know the pain of finding the hidden holes when walking the farm.
I f I didn't live in NZ I'd be quick to your door to help. You are not a failure Morgan. We love your channel and what you do. Let those that can help do so. Help to get ready for Winter is what you need. ❤❤😊😊
Morgan, I want to tell you something because we have a lot in common, especially with our ADHD. On March 15, 2024, I got injured at work, and it turned out I had a displaced vertebrae and a bulging disc. I'm a workaholic. Despite experiencing pain, the surgeon advised against getting surgery, saying it was not worth it. I went back to work for one week but unfortunately, it worsened my condition. Now my upper vertebrae is bulging…. After getting a second MRI, I discovered that I had significantly added to my spine injury. The cause of this worsening condition is likely due to my overworking habits and prioritizing work over taking care of myself, even when confronted with pain and discomfort. 14:05
Sometimes when I’m feeling sorry for myself, I look at others who have an objectively tougher situation and it helps put things in perspective. Like maybe what if you had lost your toe, leg, or life as many others have lately? Comparison can be the thief of joy but it can also bring acceptance and resolve in my experience. Also, you can view this as practice for when you are older. Take careful note now of what is hard and what is impossible and start building your farm for your 80 year old self. Good luck, keep up the great work!
I literally feel your pain. I did the same thing about 15 years ago. I stepped on the frozen surface of snow and the ice broke at my heel but not my upper foot. I think I broke my toe and sprained my foot.
I had something similar happen to me. I waited several weeks before seeing a podiatrist. After X-rays and an MRI found out that I broke my foot. He said I was lucky that the healing was doing well. If it had started to heal wrong he would have had to do surgery to correct it. Was told no wait on it for 6-8 weeks. Had a boot for when I wasn’t sitting. I was told that if I didn’t do this that there could be a lot of long term risk of complications. He had a list of them. I did as I was told (mostly) and am fine now. I feel your frustration, I had it too. I would love seeing some content of you supervising (from a 4wheeler and a boot on your foot) the volunteer help that I’m sure you could get. Us viewers would enjoy seeing you doing what you need to for your foot and the volunteers would get a lot out of helping you and your farm. If I lived close, I would help you without a doubt.
Morgan, doing the best you can is perfect. The best you can will vary and that’s ok. Sorry your toe is slowing you down. It’ll improve. Abby is growing up, she’s changed a lot,
I feel your pain. I am remodeling my house by myself, and I was right in the middle of refinishing the upstairs floors when I cut my finger very badly doing an unrelated task. Long story short, I still have not gotten back to the floors. :( But I have done other things, so all is not lost! You'll get there, Morgan, just keep going!
Please don't give up. You're not failing, it's okay to drift/coast for a bit here and there. Your idea for elevating your water hoses to prevent freezing was just brilliant and brought joy to my day! I ❤ your channel!
I dislocated my big toe a couple of years ago. It took 4 MONTHS before I could walk normally again. 6 to 8 weeks is very optimistic for recovery time, especially when you're still walking around. I was able to just stay at home and do very little.
Having a broken toe has given you time to prioritize your projects. That's a good thing. It will all work as it should. Look what you have accomplished over the years. Truly a wonderful farm. ❤
Would that you had access to assistance whenever necessary Morgan. May it heal faster than expected! Makes it clear why whole families were/are enlisted to take care of a farm...I'm going on 69 no family around and but a wee bit of help some time ago from a kind neighbor & his daughter, I still do it all in my life. As you are aware, it doesn't become easier (in a physical sense) as one gets older. I'm determined though (currently on lunch break from an online Qigong healing "retreat". Sore but happy! Well being!
having been struggling with a tension headache for almost 5 months now, i absolutely understand the feeling of not being able to do things you usually fly through in your normal daily tasks.
Man you are doing just fine. I understand the spiral and it can be hard to get out of. I go there more than I care to admit. I also have a recent injury slowing me down. We do what we can do. The house isn’t on fire and there’s food on the table. Thanks for the fruit tree grafting primer that was really interesting! Hang tough!
I’m not a farmer, but what I have heard from people who are….. is that the ability to reprioritize tasks when stuff happens is an important skill. You are showing great examples of using this skill. Thank you for keeping it real.
My dad always used to tell me, “You can only control what you can control.” That was his shorthand for…..The past is always out of your control; you can only control your own behavior, in the present….. in the hopes of AFFECTING (not controlling) the future. It’s a helpful mantra when you find yourself spiraling. ☮️
I know what you were going through several when my three boys were elementary school and younger I broke my big toe and it to take care of my toe. It seems like forever. But soon it will be all over and your foot will be all better. I'm sending encouragement…
Stop it! You are not failing us. The content of your channel has been and is top grade. Cut yourself some slack. 🥰🥰🥰 This last year you've had some serious challenges. And I'm guessing here, but maybe like marriage 😊 there's some emotional down time. But in a little while the commitment energy returns. We love you. Do what you need to do.
Pablo at the start: Jo mate cheer up or I eat you. - havent watched the video yet but when you said you failed us I got a little grumpy, because no matter what and how many content you throw out at us, most of us love anything you give us, we are here for the long run take some time off if you need tooooo! give the goats a big cuddle and hope you feel better soon
Pacing!!! 6 to 8 weeks is a start. You’ll very likely be feeling it for several months. Yes, there are things you must do, and it is impressive that you are doing so much. Still, respect the healing process. It takes time!!
There is no failure. I understand the mental exhaustion of struggling against an injury. It is harder than one would imagine. Toby is so stoic and Abby has a constant smile on her face. Bucket training is great.
Morgan, it’s true that we love your animals and your farm so so much! But we only came to love them because of you!! It’s never a sign of failure to ask for help, it’s a sign of success that you can!! ❤❤
Morgan, I had an ankle ligament repaired 4 weeks ago and in a non wgt bearing cast and now walking cast for another month...... I feel your pain with the frustrations of limited functionality due to your # toe. Head space verses physical recovery can drain your energy. Healing takes time and I also and not good at the waiting game. Everyone says take time to heal, but not always well received in my head space. Try and focus on the positive, listen to Allison, in December you can look back at a very different year and remember when your toe limited you. Your doing great. Love that your loving the goats, way better than massive pigs, though they do taste good. Take care
Your not failing Morgan. A farm always has its own schedule you can try to impose your schedule on a farm. But the farm and mother nature too have their very own clock!! Don't worry about us take care of what u must ..we are not a priority while you are injured ! ❤❤❤❤❤

Don't be so hard on yourself, Morgan. Give yourself the time you need to heal. If you get down on yourself, it will only make the situation worse.
Why not use that special boot that keeps your foot flat and wrap very well in plastic when you go outside.

As a member of your Broken Foot Support Group, I've got to say I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU'RE DOING IT ALL!! I'm proud of you!!
Almost exactly what i was going to say!
Me three ❤@@lisamadison2671
4H or FFA great idea
You can get just about anything accomplished.
morgan make sure to replace your shoes if the weird walking causes the soles to wear uneven, if you don't it might lead to knee problems etc
Have an extra hot drink today, you deserve it ❤
You could never fail us. I know, living with daily pain it is hard to stay upbeat. Everything you are showing us is delightful ❤️
Farming is one of the hardest jobs in the world. Farmers suffer from depression and anxiety. Your doing a wonderful job for yourself and your animals.
Growth isn't always visible. We are here for you and the animals.
That is so true. We're all learning even when we don't see it going on.
Most font make perfection
Many are pet grade
And that's fine
Remember to ASK* for help when you need it. Asking is hard, but we all need help sometimes. Esp when we're in pain
You pretty much summed up what I was going to say. This resonated so hard with me as I also have chronic pain and fatigue. Learning to give yourself grace is hard, even at the best of times.
Unfortunately I'm in the chronic pain club too. Just wanted to stop and say hi to some fellow members 👋
Hi Morgan, maybe we can have goat cams, puppy cams and cow cams and you can tell us stories in the voice over😊 Hope you heal quickly, many Blessings to you ❤
Morgan, you’re human and we love you, Allison, the large white farm guardian dogs, and the cats and the whole farm!
Morgan, I love you and your farm. Your not failing anyone.
you just need to keep making adjustments until you find what works best for you. maybe find a temporary helper? you got this Morgan
Slowly climbing to 1,000,000 subscribers. Congrats on all the good things, Morgan!
Hang in there Morgan! You’re doing great! Get well soon!
Unless your delay causes more flooding and fire tornadoes on the farm, stay calm get your rest and heal!
Ugh, injuries. One positive I can see in all this is that you got your property posted before this happened! Hang in there, Morgan.
Now you know how it feels to be over 70 years old. Get well soon, we enjoy your videos.
You are NOT failing!!
The goats are so cute, and you can see they love you too
I'm on crutches.
Hi Morgan, just commenting to let you know, you're not failing us! Keep doin what you doin cos you doin it greatly!!

Good luck
Sometimes when I’m feeling sorry for myself, I look at others who have an objectively tougher situation and it helps put things in perspective. Like maybe what if you had lost your toe, leg, or life as many others have lately? Comparison can be the thief of joy but it can also bring acceptance and resolve in my experience.
Also, you can view this as practice for when you are older. Take careful note now of what is hard and what is impossible and start building your farm for your 80 year old self. Good luck, keep up the great work!
I admire your thoughtful approach to things and I consider it something to emulate.
Prayers for you and the animals 🙏 love your farm and videos, praying someone can come and help you.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Morgan, doing the best you can is perfect.
When we are hiking we go over flat lands, hills and valleys. So is life just keep it moving and dont feel discouraged
11:36 am i the only one seeing abby doing an imitation of morgan's limp? thats ADORABLE omg abby is so sweet shes even limping alongside to support
I saw that too.
Well being!
I do love to plan, Morgan, but sometimes a plan is what you do until you find out what is really going to happen. That's not failing, it's living.
having been struggling with a tension headache for almost 5 months now, i absolutely understand the feeling of not being able to do things you usually fly through in your normal daily tasks.
Morgan, head up. Your farm is awesome. Look where it started. You are doing awesome. NO FAILURE. SUCCESS
I knew what grafting was, but I had never seen it done, thanks. I hope your toe heals completely and as soon as possible.
You know Morgan, I really enjoy your monologues a lot. They don't require too much moving of the cameras, a gopro does just fine. Give it a thought.
Haven't watched in about 7 months. Great to see all the progress. 👍
Also goats ❤
My dad always used to tell me, “You can only control what you can control.”
That was his shorthand for…..The past is always out of your control; you can only control your own behavior, in the present….. in the hopes of AFFECTING (not controlling) the future. It’s a helpful mantra when you find yourself spiraling. ☮️
Do we no longer talk about how much of a good dog Toby is? It’s always Abby this. Abby that. Toby is the heart of the farm!
He wrote a literal book about Toby lol. Go read it and cheer up. Toby is well loved it’s shown in many videos.
You ain't falling us. We all are thankful for all the information you have shared with us. Thanks to you; I am looking forward to doing it as well.
As the others are saying, you are not failing us! Pls take care and all your Time. Get well soon
It won’t be like this forever. Things are hard then they get better. This is life. Ask for all the help you can get!
I enjoyed this video's mood, pacing, and topics. Thanks Morgan.
Morgan, it’s true that we love your animals and your farm so so much! But we only came to love them because of you!! It’s never a sign of failure to ask for help, it’s a sign of success that you can!! ❤❤
Do your best, that's all you can do. Thank you for the goaty moment of zen at the end.
2min ago but only 61 views and 37 likes and 3 comments??? DON'T GIVE UP MAN! ❤
He's damn near at a million subs
I'm praying for you for wisdom as well as healing!
