They are a little more stiff (more backbone) and a little thicker than most MH rods I have handled. I like my MH being more stiff (more backbone) and I had told Okuma that years ago. Not that I was the reason they made them a little more stiff (more backbone) lol! It's just my preference. I would rather have a thinner rod however I can compensate the thickness with a bigger reel later on.
They are KO2's. Someone I knew put over 60k miles on theirs towing a boat. I found these at a used tire shop for $500 for all 4. That is about the price of a single new one! So far so good I think I have 10k miles on them now.
Is the glow battery operated ? Does the bottom cross cut so it sets in a boat rod holder ? Is it 2 piece or 1 piece like the battlecat ? So the whole reel assembly tightening piece is metal ? I got 3 battle cats after you promoted them I love them. But now I wish I could keep the battle cats but just add the glow & metal reel assembly.
Need a black light to make it glow. It does have the same bottom cross like the Battle Cat. The Custom is 1 piece and the normal ones are 2 piece. Yeah its a double locking metal rings on metal seat. I see no problem with the Battle Cat seat either unless you like catching 1000 pound Tuna.
@@Capt_Billy thanks ! Yeah I use my 3 battle cats for saltwater. Got the bg8000 , Calcutta 700 & the Penn pursuit III 6000. Have you had any problems with the guides inner rings popping apart ? I had to super glue it back in. I like the cork handles better.
Right now the customs are $119.99 (cheaper than the Battlecat) and the others are $59.99 (no heavy or medium heavy yet for the cheaper green ones). These retail prices which means they could be seen lower on places like Amazon, etc.
Good looking rods
Good lookin rods.
Looks a lot like Madkatz. Would love to try one of those out also.

@@Capt_Billy thank you!
Nice looking rod, now go out and catch a big cat at night so we can see how they work.
Why would anyone want a moderate fast for a catfish rod.
Helps set circle hooks.
Everyone doesn't like a soft tip. Moderate fast are better with throwing heavier loads.
