- This is a demo of the seemingly undiscovered techno blissmachine that is the Eowave Quadrantid Swarm (thru FX Aid for delay). It also features Roland TR-8 thru Elektron Analog Heat, clocks by CV/OCD and 4MS QCD. Good times!

‘When it’s allowed to work’ I think you mean. It worked great a few years ago until they decided to remove unsponsored creators and/or anything not ‘child-friendly.’ It’s not that the algorithm doesn’t know want you want to see. It just won’t show it to you. A small to medium sized channel with interesting content has the algo-odds stacked against it.

For those who would like to know when it will be restock, we had a little delay in production ( i will send some to our distributor at the end of the week but not enough i guess, I'm sure Alex is doing that so i can't sleep because to much work ;) ,
We are working on a new batch who'll be ready 3week/1 month ( it take time to do this beast, we have to send into the space each unit so they absorb galactic energy and then let them macerate in lava to make the filters sound warm!

@@Bavinckovic No eurorack. At the moment, Deluge, Reface CP (I just need a rhodes!), Reface YC would be nice too just for playing. I'm fairly content with what I have but I do need a master brain which the deluge could manage no problem. Everything else is just me wanting a new shiny thing I think!
That thing is a monster. Most synths you play, this thing you ride it and hang on!

Here to announce some bad news :/ ( and have to announce it here since it's the page of the Swarm improvisation lord) :
due to the component shortage, i'm working on probably the last Quadrantid swarm batch (who is by the way almost done and i will send it to our distributor next week).
The Mcu and some other component inside are out of stock till some years in the future (and it's even possible when we will be here that they will be more delay regarding how things are going). Except if there will be some kind of miracle and components reapers ( i've been checking that almost every days last 6 month, so i'm kind of disillusioned about that) swarm will take is retirement.
But anyway, we are working on new things we hope you'll like!

I love this thing. I fully place the "blame" for my buying one in your general direction. I don't take it out often enough; but I spent 30-45 with it again tonight and man once you get a groove going it just screams for drums and more distortion.
I'll agree the build quality is "delicate" (the knobs wiggle and what not) - I wouldn't want to travel with it without a sturdy case; but as something I use on my desk, it's totally fine - I just wouldn't let kids touch it.
And man those two filters, when you start to blend and the low end creeps in - unlike some other filters (which is fine) - I just smile.
It's so very good. Love it.

2 things that I loved in this crazy machine: the machine it self, so musical and electronic, and you playing it. Wooow , great sound man. Thanks for this live act.
I think the looper part can be done in the DAW world like Ableton so it is half step to be a future SONG. Unless it's to play live and maybe in that case an hardware looper, not sure....

you should also watch the "28 minute Moog DFAM jam" vid on this channel. It sold me a DFAM and I have absolutely no regrets (and still occasionally go back and relisten to that vid)
Holy shit, this has been one of the most amazing jams I have seen in a long time. This synth is so extremely powerful and the sound it makes are just pure chaotic bliss.

it's such a strong voice, it barely needs any accompaniment for a full sound. ... i love it.. I run it through some wavefolding and it just comes alive with hidden textures

this is the only video out there about swarm that actualy delivers,everything else that i looked its mediocre or should i say it doesnt show what the thing is capable off. That moment when you randomly jam and spontanous lough occurs its priceless to me i was smiling too just listening to it, and then i knew i need this.Great presentation!

Since I saw this video a month ago I've been checking everywhere, every single day to see if it's back in stock. Today I won it on an eBay auction (new). I'm beyond excited for it to arrive I'm not gonna be able to sleep for the next few days !!!!!!

I built a diy module that’s very similar called Weather Drones also from eowave, this looks like the big brother of it. Been wondering about this one but there wasn’t much online about it, but I’m definitely sold after your video! Nice one!
HOOOOOOOLY SHIT dude 18:20 brought me into the year 1990 and 2090 at the same time somehow! This is a masterpiece from Eowave, I have their Domino but the swarm is outrageous! While theyre hard to find now I can at least use your video ideas to see what I can create with a group of modules in similar ways, I think EKG sequencer, Erica full synth voice and the Eowave Domino plus their Zone BF dual lfo can get me into this territory while the time passes. Excellent techno stomping knob tweaking sonic exploration video!

Apparently one CAN put techno in a box. That box is the Eowave Quadrantid Swarm. The missus is going to be overjoyed when I tell her there is yet another synth that I simply cannot live without. I guess I could just say, "What- this old thing? I've had it forever."
If you have a dog, put an old piece of kit out covered in peanut butter then let him go to town on it. Once properly chewed, you now need to replace that thing with an Eowave Quadrantid Swarm, the exact thing that damn dog chewed up.
"How do you change the length? Modular, my dear! We've got a reset input!" - looks at my DFAM with disappointment
