That was so nice seeing the turtles
It was, they were very fun to swim with
I’m 15 but am enjoying your cruise videos and planning a trip with my mom when I graduate high school
Awesome, glad you're watching and hope you have a great cruise with your mom
I am really enjoying your videos. I like that you are sharing information about the islands and a little history. It’s great that you have already developed friendships with other passengers. By far the best videos I’ve seen about the world cruise. I will be watching all of your future videos. Thank you for taking the time to put this together for all the viewers.
Thanks for watching!
thank you for sharing underwater video, I will not get in the Ocean, but love to see it. I liked Nancys history of the salt flats. thanks for sharing.
Our pleasure!
I’m Enjoying Watching All your Adventures good Luck with it Enjoy and Stay Safe All Ways All
Thank you and thanks for watching.
My fiancé and I are joining the world cruise for 11 days in June during our honeymoon, so we started watching your videos to see how it might be different. Now we’re both hooked and excited to see all of your new adventures cruising around the world. Thank you for posting!
Congratulations! Hope you have a wonderful wedding and honeymoon !
What countries are on your itinerary for that leg of the journey?
Thank you and congratulations!
Congratulations. Have a wonderful Wedding and Honeymoon
I felt the same as Nancy about Bonaire. I crossed another island off my list. Aruba and Curaçao are 2 of my favorite islands. Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much!
I’m so enjoying your vlogs. Thank you for taking us on your adventure.
Glad you like them!
Drift snorkelling off Little Bonaire is very nice. If you don’t scuba dive. There are excursions and there is a ferry service. There is nothing at the beach of Little Bonaire.
Good to know!
Your positivity always brightens my day! It’s so fun to see all these places as I can’t go myself raising four kids - maybe someday 😊
It was a different story for us when we were raising our three children.
Great underwater footage. Nice music too!
Thank god someone unpretentious in my age group uploads videos about that cruise . I don't cruise myself, but I really enjoy videos about the topic very much and I like your down-to-earth style very much.
Thank you for the kind words.
I'm working my way through your videos! My kid joked that I'm watching my new "cruise show" instead of a show on Netflix! Haha! These videos really are a gift. Thank you for making them! And I loved your joke about "splitting up"! There so much buzz here on land about your cruise! Everyone wants to know the drama, but I prefer these reviews that you're doing! While you are on Serenade, I'll be with my mom on Symphony in May (Caribbean) and on Quantum with my husband and 2 teens in July to Alaska. I hope to go to a lot of the places you are going and hearing your thoughts really helps me to narrow it down! I appreciate you!!!
Thank you so much for your kind words and enjoy your cruise!
Have salt flats here in the bay area natives first and then during the god rush they were run out and colonists took over without slaves they still mine today but slowly restoring the wetlands
We are not scuba divers and did the tour. It was very interesting but feel it was a one and done. The only thing I might like to go back for is to rent a golf cart and tour the island that way.
A golf cart would be a blast to visit the island.
You two are doing such a great job presenting your travels. Thank you.
I stumbled upon your videos after watching cruise content from another creator (not on the ultimate cruise) and have enjoyed them so much. You two do such a great job of talking about the places you're seeing, and I can't wait to follow along the rest of the journey!
Awesome, thank you!
Loved that we got to enjoy two different experiences on the same island
Thanks again.
Be safe ,be kind and keep being blessed 🙌🏽
Thanks, you too!
We rented a golf cart and drove around the island when we were there. Another wonderful way of seeing the island.
We had some friends do that, they had a great time
Oh I love to swim with sea turtles........such gentle creatures!
This makes me want to learn to scuba!
Yes!!
I so love your videos! Thank you for taking us along on the adventure.
You are so welcome!
If you don’t’t like to dive, there is also excellent snorkeling there!
I'm really enjoying your videos. Thank you for sharing. I know it's a lot of work. So thank you for the trouble.😊
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the lovely videos. You give a nice preview of the places without spoiling things to discover. You have a nice balance of excursion pics/video, no drama, and lovely relaxing speaking voices.
We've been on a couple of cruises and one day when we retire we will travel the world. Work right now takes a lot of time.
Thank you for letting us live a little vicariously through you. Much love!
Glad you are enjoying them!
New subscriber. Really enjoying your cruise videos but I also watched some of your earlier videos. You both have great thoughts and content. Looking forward to watching your videos around the world and live vicariously through your videos. Safe travels to you!
Awesome! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing such beautiful footage
Glad you enjoyed it
My husband is a fabulous swimmer but hasn't taken up scuba diving yet. As soon as he retires, this is on the list.
Do it! 😁
Yay so excited to see this!
Thank you.
I saw that you are visiting us down under and stopping at the Great Barrier Reef. Wait until you see that from under water.
Love the videos, keep them comming.
Can't wait!
Beautiful underwater footage and the rainbow was stunning
Really enjoying your videos !
Glad you like them!
im OBSESSED with y'all's vlogs!!!! thank you for bringing us along and letting us live vicariously through your videos!!
Yay! Thank you!
I have Personal Friends doing the Whole Cruise with you , not bloggers, so I'm enjoying your Vlogs and thier pictures Thanks for sharing
Glad you like them!
I’m enjoying your videos. I’d love to see more about the food offerings you have on the ship. Just the everyday food.
More to come!
Thank you so much for your wonderful posts! I am enjoying and look forward to yours more than anyone’s you are top-notch please keep sharing! I’m living this amazing cruise through you😊
Thank you so much!
Thanks it’s always exciting to see a new post from you!
Wow, that's so nice of you! ❤️❤️❤️ We really appreciate that you take the time to watch our videos and certainly hope they bring you some enjoyment. They truly are a passion project for us as we've been planning this cruise for 2 years, and we wanted to share it with everyone. Thanks again!
Loved seeing all the sea life 😊
Sounds like everybody is settling in on the new routine. I wonder how they’re going to keep the dining menus fresh?
The dining room menu in the main dining room rotates every 28 days which is a good rotation. Usually there are two or three things I’m interested in anyway so I look forward to that 28 day rotation. And the wind jammer has had some fantastic authentic food. Food has truly been impressive on this cruise.
It's 67 steps, lol. It feels like 1,000 when you're hauling the gear up and down. 😂
🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for your reviews of the islands, i love that you let us know what's best to go for at each island and now I have some new places i want to explore.
You are so welcome!
Hello from snow-covered Michigan! I discovered your channel a week ago and I'm loving your world cruise vlogs. Thanks for letting us share in the adventure!
Glad you like them! We see the snow at our house! 🥶
Just a tip: when diving coral reefs it’s even more fantastic when you get tinted masks and camera lens covers to make the colours more true so everything doesn’t look ruddy red-brown. It will make your videos so much more colorful!
Good tip! I do have one but forgot the lens filter for my action camera case at home. 🙄
Great job as always guys 👍 thanks so much for sharing
Our pleasure!
Thank you so much for sharing the dives!
Glad you like them!
Thanks for another wonderful vlog!
Our pleasure!
Doing a 4 month cruise in 2025 departing from Auckland nz so hopefully we can learn some things from you guys also love your personalities you are so cheerful and that also makes me want to keep watching 😊
Thanks so much for your kind words!
So enjoying following you on your epic voyage. We aim to do the same trip when we retire 🤞🏼 Maybe each voyage except the last, as we live in the UK we’ve covered that section quite a bit although the additional perks might make me rethink. Thank you for sharing and enjoy 😊
Thank you
So fun to wake up and have another video from both of you! The visibility on your dives was incredible! It reminded me of my dive experience in Grand Cayman. Can’t wait to see more of where you will be. ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! I LOVE Eden Rock in Grand Cayman
will be curious about your take on all the water problems on Deck 12
We address it in an upcoming video. It wasn’t as dramatic as what was portrayed throughout social media.
I agree on the assessment that if you scuba, this is a great port, if you don't, it's just OK. we did an ABC cruise in 2022, and loved Curacao, and Aruba, Bonaire not so much. as we don't snorkel or scuba, so it was fine. we went to a 'beach' club, no beach, just sun beds. i didn't have water shoes, so was unable to go into the water at all. the water was rock, with a steep drop off about 3 feet out. beautiful, but since it was crazy hot (in November) there was no way to cool off. my husband had his Teva's and was scared to go in the water due to the sharp rock and crazy waves taking him off his feet. basically we were on a ledge, with pointy sharp rocks. very pretty, but not conducive to cooling off and relaxing.
Agree if you're just going to swim or Beach time we really loved Curaçao
Curaçao was our favorite island ❤❤❤
That’s so cool! I’ve always wanted to learn to scuba dive! I also saw y’all got picked up by a news channel showcasing a couple of your videos!
So cool! Thanks for watching and subscribing!
I've been wondering if you all did everything together or if there was opportunity to do separate things. If you are willing to share, I'd love to know what kinds of daily things you are doing to create a feeling of normalcy. I would get tired of getting up and going to breakfast (dressed) every morning and I'd want to establish some habits to keep my head in place. it's still early, but after a month, or so, I would want some routines!
That's a great idea, we will work on shooting some video for A Day in the Life
Please consider doing some shorts about or including more food/dining in your videos. Thanks
Nancy did release a recent short showing food of the cruise. Take a look at that one I think you'll enjoy it. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video! I'm excited to see one of your sea days. I was honestly going to suggest you doing one and it turns out you are! You guys are great.
Thanks!!
I saw you guys on national news!
Just loving your videos so much. I so appreciate your considered and thoughtful approach to sharing your experiences. I wondered if you’d consider a Q&A livestream at some stage in your journey?
Great minds think alike! We are planning a live stream coming up very soon, so stay tuned and watch for the announcement
@@livingphase2 oh that’s so exciting. I’ll look forward to it (and hoping it’s at an Australia-friendly timezone 🤣)
lovely review! thanks for the scuba diving footage. What are those stands under the water , it looks like starfish were hanging on them. A starfish hatchery?
They're actually used to try to grow Coral to help replace some of the damaged Coral
Loving this series! Could you show some of your dinners and how they are providing variety to them? I know with cruises they have set menus. I’m wondering how many menu repeats y’all might have. Happy travels!
They are on a 28 day cycle for us and every there is an added off menu chef's special. The food has been great!
Yeah. We were st Bonaire a few years back. Back then, I felt they were a "not ready for prime time player." Then again, I don't scuba or snorkel.
Amazing diving. That's what you do there.
The underwater video was amazing! I really enjoy that you share your opinions on why you would or would not revisit a place. Do you have a drink package for the cruise?
Thanks much. The drink package is included for the full world cruisers.
How deep were you? Were those coral trees- farming coral? What camera do you use? 😀 great shots!
75 was max depth. Yes, you win the prize they are coeall farms to regrow the coral. I use a DJI action 3 with SCUBA case. Thanks for watching!
This was great! I loved the wildlife from each of your adventures. A question, what do you get as souvenirs? Are you picking up something from each port, like magnets or postcards? Thanks, and keep updating us please!
Mike collects Patches he has been ever since he was a kid and so we always try to get one from every port. And Nancy is collecting Christmas ornaments one from each country. We limit it to that but even with that we're not sure how we're going to get it all home. 😳
@@livingphase2 we collect patches for our RV! Our Scamp has marine headliner walls which are basically Velcro. Patches are a great way to decorate it.
From a non scuba-diver, but snorkeling beginner, please explain how you sanitize your equipment and what are the little underwater trees with something hanging in Bonaire. Thank you.
Large tubs of bleach water to sanitize. The trees are used to seed the growth of new corals.
Can you recommend any other vloggers from the ship to watch? I’d love to get different perspectives of the cruise!
We haven't really found too many other people doing long form TH-cam vlogging like we are. Many people are doing Tiktok now, and there you can look up our friend Leslie at @pointmysoulSouth.
I really envy your enthusiasm for adventure. My parents did it when they were young, but not after retirement. Enjoy the cruise.
Just curious, how are you storing all the photos and video footage over the 9 months at sea and travel?
Thanks for watching. We are Storing everything on Multiple SSHDs.
Good afternoon! So enjoying these visits thru your eyes! Thank you for filming. Quick question; have you noticed any dissention among passengers? I read something on line noting what sounded like disharmony between the full segment world cruisers and those who were not among the 270+ day cruisers. Hope that is not the case
Not at all
A lot of misinformation about our cruise has been said online.
Cayman is like Bonaire scuba is awesome and try to go to Little Cayman
I love diamond in Grand cayman. Eden Rock is one of my favorite places in the world to dive
Hello, can you tell us how the are doing The SeaPass, the daily schedules. Also are there dance classes or line dancing on deck? Keep inspiring.
All the activities continue as per usual. We always have to have a sea pass to get on and off the ship.
Was wondering when you would post a full update as there has been a biggish gap from the ones you did initially.
We are trying to get one out every 3 to 4 days now. All depends on our ship schedule. We vowed to not let the vlogging take away from our experience. 😀
@@livingphase2 thanks for your prompt reply ,my comment wasn't meant to be a criticism, just an indication of how much I enjoy your vlogs. It's your trip which you are kindly taking us along and the priority is enjoying yourselves.
@@valslater3001 didn't take it that way 😄 Glad you are enjoying 😀
What were the antenna mobile looking things on your dive at 3:13?
Those are devices that they are using to grow coral.
Did they replenish the wine supply yet? 😆
Yes they have we did a follow-up video on that. They've brought local wines on and also replenish some that they're out of
I read through all the comments before asking what were those antenna looking things under water while you were scuba diving? What was attached to them?
Great question. They are used to seed and grow new corals 🪸
Just curious- Are they going the usual 4 drinks on your room card?
No sense all the full world Cruisers have the full Deluxe drink package included so we don't worry about the diamond drinks.
that scuba spot is dead the first one sad this happens to corral and the ocean one of the worldly gifts that keep us alive
Agree, at least Bonaire is doing everything they can to protect the coral and to try to regrow coral. They've made many places off limits to diving to protect the coral. You probably saw some of the coral seed trees underwater in one of the videos.
Did the boat get flooded?
Wet in areas but not flooded
I am enjoying your videos & like the history that you're sharing. However, please remember those African people were enslaved, not slaves. Slave suggests an inherent identity whereas enslaved accurately defines the status that was forced and imposed upon said people.
Thank you for sharing this bit of information with us.
A sad part of history
Yes, we are hearing many of those stories on our trip but do appreciate it being discussed and not hidden. Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it!
