Just tested one of these, the led chips are running .5 watts thats a far cry from the 10w rating they give them, i tested a 22 inch unit advetized as 1200w with 120 chips drawing 66 watts at 12 volts and it had fairly pathetic output compared to the older china dual row bars that where running better quality chips at 1 to 1.5 watts, these cheap light bars are no longer worth buying because of the very low quality led chips being used.... if they went back to higher quality chips they would be a much much better product......
I've purchased several LED products from China and I definitely agree that they over state they output on these bars and their flashlights. You can tell just by looking at the wire gauge that the math on their numbers don't add up. That being said, for the money spent I'm pretty happy with the light bar. I don't really need a night sun, but it certainly provides more light than just the headlamps.
hey i was wondering if you knew how much amps does the light use i really would like to know
