Here's a tip I learned from USA Special Olympics Equestrian coach. If you use scissors on the mane. Comb it over to the wrong side like when you use the rake. Dampen it at the neck to keep it over and smooth. Cut it with the scissors. When you comb it over to the right side it will look very natural, no blunt edges. Keep in mind how thick your horse's mane is. Works great on my Thoroughbred, not on my Haflinger who has enough mane for 3 horses!

Can we just appreciate the fact that casper is now the most bombproof pony ever thanks to esme, he's almost like a completely different horse to the one that esme bought years ago❤❤❤❤
While there are even more bombproof horses and ponies than Casper, he’s definitely a _lot_ more confident and trusting than he once was, and while some of it might be down to him being more mature now, having spent that maturation time with Esme and Mickey and later also Joey clearly played a major role, especially developing his trust bond with Esme.

This is so fun! It's it the first jump with your logo? I love it! When I was a horse mom, I had an AQHA and we both pulled and used scissors. I understand not wanting to pull! In the 90's they liked Quarter Horses to have manes that were straight across and just a tad shorter than Caspers, and tails were long and thick, cut straight across at the bottom. We had to be so gentle combing them! I don't know what their show fashion is today, as I live abroad now. Grooming was always my favorite, so I love the clips where you are grooming!
