I don't mind them at all and think they're a really solid rock band and could even be a really good metal band if they wanted to be. Like Creed before them, the hate they receive is completely irrational and doesn't make any sense. It became a popular opinion so people just joined the herd and it snowballed over time to become the edgy, trendy thing to hate on Nickelback. Once Nickelback goes away, people will just find another band to pick on for no real reason if they haven't already. And the trend just continues.

I never understood the hate against Creed. Great band, and Tremonti's riffs are incredible. I grew out of Nickelback because it's just really overplayed and feels a bit repetitive, but they have a bunch of really nice music
And to think this song is already nearly 20 years old... I remember hearing it all the time on the radio (and probably still would) during my childhood and preteen years. Merry Christmas man!
I used to watch Nickleback in Vancouver to crowds of a 1-200 people. I just knew there was something special. Chads voice and the guitar grind they had was captivating. I loved them more back then than I ever have again. They became very polished and formulaic but that’s alright. Everybody “sells out” and I can’t blame them one bit. Well done my man.
Definitely wouldn’t mind you doing a binge on these dudes. Songs are super catchy and fun. The hate they get isn’t deserved. Awesome cover as usual! I’ll say it again, you’re a god!! Merry Christmas!

I've listened through their whole discography. There is some painful, painful stuff, but in general, above average rock band. Great cover!!
