I have the 2254 and its old and it be sounding crazy
Dyson is horrible, I bought one and it was always plugged, I bought new filters , still plugged up, I cleaned it out and a huge amount of particles stuck inside, so not filtering well. So I returned it thinking it was a lemon, well they replaced it with a new one, it did the same thing. I cleaned the filter and still, pos don't waste your money on this. I have a Miele canister and it's fantastic.

Had the Shark vacuum. It was great, I loved it but I found it odd that almost exactly at the five year mark it stopped working 😭. Almost like it was designed that way
