Love constitutional silver. It just gets harder and harder to find. Constitutional makes up a third of my stack and I budget a third of my spending on constitutional silver. When I started buying silver years ago junk silver was cheap and mostly what was available. There weren't all these silver dealers or all the stuff like rounds and bars. My income has been drastically reduced since I was forced to retire by medical issues but I haven't sold any of it because I figured the future sucked and my family would need it. I never thought of it as an investment but as a fall back for when paper money became green toilet paper. I figured someone would always be willing to trade for silver or gold. But I also recognized that cans of beans may be even more valuable. I never in my wildest nightmares ever thought I would possibly witness the end of the United States but that looks more like a possibility every days as the world is being taken over by criminals and evil bastards.

I have been stacking for about 2 years now. I coin roll hunt and most of my 90% half dollars I have found in rolls at the bank around $140 fv, or from customer dumps. I have bought most of my quarters and dimes, only occasionally finding them in rolls. I also have found lots of 40% silver halves in the past 2 years, close to $1000 fv. I sell my 40% when it makes sense to convert it to gold. The premium on 90% is super high right now, but it is the only silver that isn’t being made anymore, and easily understood by most people to be silver.

90% has always been my favorite; not interested in bars or rounds; never have and never will. Many fake bars and rounds but 90% has just limited fake Morgans and being into 90% for 40 years lets me spot the fakes fast with visuals, weight and ping test. Excellent example SJ. I’ve known about silver stack over a decade, and the true story of fiat at least two decades. Up until 2022 I always thought I was too poor to stack… ironically that change on a silver dime last summer to… I’m too poor not to stack. I’d be better off had I started soon, but better (not) late than never. It’s isn’t an investment for me, it’s value for one of two purposes, hard times to support my family or for my children when I pass on… which ever comes first.

I stick mostly with Roosevelts, Washingtons, Franklins, and Kennedys because they mostly exhibit less wear. That means more silver per coin.

Man! I missed the boat by a few months. Started stacking in Nov 2019, and the price had already started to climb. Then the plandemic started and silver became unobtainium. Then premiums went crazy, so every since I started stacking, I was never really able to get silver at a good price. Got a few deals at spot or very close to it, but spot had already risen by then. I purchased all the way up to the top, my most expensive silver purchase was at 42 CAN$, then it dropped like a brick. We almost went back to 42$ an oz a few months back, I think it went to 41$ then dropped again. Now it's like 36$ an oz. Silver is really frustrating, pretty much stopped buying it and now buy mostly gold and platinum. Finished a few collections like Kookaburas but not stacking until I can see a clear bottom or a stop to the manipulation. Can't stand that climb slowly then crash every month. Plus, I am not paying 35% premium they want now. That is just crazy! I pay around 5% premium on gold, no reason to buy silver.

THE ONE THING EVERYBODY NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND IS ; IF YOU SELL YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL SILVER YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REPLACE IT AT THE SAME PRICE YOU PAID FOR IT. ALSO NOW IS THE TIME TO GET OUT OF PAPER MONEY AND IN TO JUNK SILVER.

Price got so high for morgans and peace, I shifted to buying commemorative silver dollars like 1986 statue of liberty. Cost was about 20 each 2 years ago to about 25 now. Same weight and 90 percent silver as old silver dollars. The newer ones are also unc or proof, so no wear.

I feel constitutional silver is a great way to have fractional silver on hand. If the SHTF scenario ever drops, just having ounces won't be very efficient. The combination of both I think is best.

Just in fiat monetary terms, that's an average of 18% per year over 5 1/2 years. There are hedge funds out there that can only DREAM of that kind of performance right now.

IMHO, once constitutional silver reaches spot price plus maybe $3 or $4, it will no longer rise. Why? Because you can buy other silver rounds or whatever, for right around the same price. Feel free to correct me if I'm missing something.
