After a 14 month wait on my Darkhorse order I finally had enough of Ford, from Corporate to Dealership. Ordered a '24 Sport Z 6-speed a couple weeks ago and should be in within 3 months. The extra 10-12k you save over the Performance trim ends up being closer to 15k if you include tax and interest. Gonna build me own! You got the right idea buddy. Thanks for the vid!!
You can look up inventory on Nissan’s website. There’s only one sport trim on a dealer’s lot in all of Florida (Greenacres Nissan), and they want over MSRP.
I came from New Orleans to Florida tu get msrp. 900 over msrp. Super happy. Thief's around Mississippi and New Orleans kept telling me 5 to 7k over msrp and the typical lanes. You won't find. Hard to get. Specialty. Etc.
LSD helps with traction in scenarios where you might lose traction, such as taking a hard turn or launching the car. When you lose traction with the LSD it helps put the power down to the proper wheel so you don’t spin out and can keep riding fast. Ultimately it depends on your driving style, if you don’t track the car and don’t upgrade the turbos to make crazy horsepower you’ll never find yourself wishing you had an LSD.
Is the Sport trim just another way to call it the base model? I have a 370Z base model it’s an awesome car but the resale value on the base model sucks. I might at well as keep it.
That’s exactly what it is. Nissan must have decided “sport” sounds better than “base”. The difference is they don’t make many of these trims. Even the Nismo trim is more available than the $42k Sports. That should help with resale value in this instance.
Sorry must have missed this comment, I use Progressive and it’s about $1400 a year. It was actually cheaper than my 370z likely due to the additional safety features. Insurance cost obviously varies dependent on location, driver profile, car etc. as well as if you pay it in one installment instead of monthly.
I like the auto trans but the logic sometimes is confused whether you want to go fast or slow which can result in a delay and lag from when you hit the paddle shifter to it actually shifting. Almost as if the trans thinks it knows better than you. Looking to have another video out soon with some POV driving.
@@takeoff_szn Ok thanks for the thoughts. I had a c8 and that trans was pretty amazing. From my brief test drive I think the Z should be a great all around car. Going to have to relearn all the buttons on the steering wheel. Btw I didn't have any idea how to back up while test driving. 😊. Asked the salesman when I returned.
I bought a 24 Z in mid December after test drive. Fun car an really fuel efficient considering the power level. Only upgrades so far are a set of SSR wheels and wider tires that hook better. Neat car hope you're enjoying yours also
I wish there was more about the base model Z, that lsd is the only thing that it does not have that matters in my opinion. For am extra 10k are better breaks worth it idk
Very stunning indeed, i have to say i never get tired of seeing them on the road! thought i would offer, if you are wanting to grow your channel i have my masters degree in marketing, i would love to offer my expertise to help you out, if you're interested feel free to let me know!

I’ve found several sport trims here in Florida, still holding on to get a performance trim though, I love how this thing looks. Congrats bro 👏🏼

Where I'm from, they don't sell the sport, which I would have been fine with. They only sell the performance and NISMO, so I went for performance.
whats your insurance look like if you dont mind me asking
