    This is the best tutorial for character animation you can ever find on internet (and I've seen soooo many). I made my own version of it and even though I struggle a little with maintaining the volume of my character, I got an amazing fluid animation at the end. You really have no idea how underrated your content is. There are thousands of people looking for animation tutorials on internet, but they rarely find your channel. Please do not stop uploading, you gave me a massive boost on my animation techniques. Thank you!

    Oh my gosh, this was such a lifesaver!
    Before I was sooo confused with how you do the middle/breakdown frame, in my head I thought they had to be divided exactly in half, I didn't even realize the middle is *actually* based on *visually* where it's in the middle of the time chart. That still might not make sense, but it clicks now lol.
    Same with timing as well I also thought it was mostly just guessed out and things, I never really put in the thought of animatics and the timing/frame math, pff..
    Anyways, thank god I found this video, thank you!

    this was super helpful, i didn't think about timing actions in real life to make it flow more naturally and i learnt a lot of animation terms that i was struggling to comprehend (e.g animating on 1's/ animating on 2's) as well as some i've never heard of until i looked it up

    Your tutorial was simple, only two parts. But it explained SO WELL. You helped me a lot when creating timing charts to one of my exercises I did of a flour sack. The part 1 with extremes, keys and all also was so helpfull. And the results are amazing, I came here again so I could write down what you said lol Some tutorials I find of animators dont always match to what they say, the extremes sometimes confuse me to much because of it, but your explanation was simple and fast. Thanks so much for these

    So if you want to make an frame slower meaning you put more frames then to make it faster you put less frames? Like 4 frames(slow) then 2(fast) frames?

    yo, im having a problem understanding the position of the frames, how do you exactly decide where tu put the "inbetween" between the keyposes when you ease in o ease out, is there like a formula or its just the frame you feel like it?

    Hi, first i want to thank you a lot for your extrem good quality Videos. Thank for your great work to teach us what you know. Here's a like and a sub. 🥳😉 Also i habe a question, but it's difficult to explain, and english isnt my native language but i will Try. Im starting my first animation project but i'm in front of problem i didnt thought about befor. Maybe you can help me. When you're drawing a move, How do you know in advance, how long will last every key frame to make the move look soft and fluid ? I mean for exemple, a man is lying on the floor, then he move to the sitting position, and then he is standing ready to Walk. Im lost to make this animation looks soft and nice. Is it right to say that laying pose is the first key frame, sitting pose is the second key frame and the standing pose is the third key frame ? How do you know that the first frame will have 2 empty frames right after, and the Next one will maybe have only 1 empty frame etc..(duration of the frame) Hard to tell where is the slow out/slow in etc... Maybe do you have some tips ? Hope you understand what i mean. Anyway, thanks a lot Again.

    bro i also wanted to animate but idk which software should i use and which graphics tabet should i use for among us animation

    • @AwkwardPain
      @AwkwardPain 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Any animation program works. Tahoma and Opentoonz (both are free and use the same base source code) allow for both puppet style animation and more traditional (as shown in this video). As for the tablet. Go for something that is pretty cheap. my first tablet that lasted me 3 years was only $50. I recommend going this route, just in case you don't really find your passion in it.
      Remember that it isn't the program or tablet that makes the animation, its the animator. Good luck!

    How are you moving the frames in the timeline? When I try selecting a single frame from the top bar it won't actually move. It highlights it but I can't move around the frame ( like one would in flash for instance.) Please help :,)

    How to determine the key frames,breakdowns,etc. in every action?
    I hope one can answer, it bothers me in making timechart

    • @grahamcracker272chocolate7
      @grahamcracker272chocolate7 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Keys are usually the main poses that tell the story your animation. The breakdowns usually determine the transition to the ending key. For instance, if you wanted to animate a character going from a neutral emote to a smiling one, those would be the keys because they tell the main parts of the story. If you wanted the character to blink before smiling, that would be the breakdown, because it shows how your character transitions into the smile. I hope that all makes sense. If not, check out Toniko Pantoja's video on keys and breakdowns. I know this was a year ago, but I'm not sure if your question got answered.
