I think your format is really good, the time you spend talking, the frequency of pausing, how long you pause, it's all really good. Your channel is definitely my favorite reaction channel of the 10+ I watch on a regular basis. If I had to make any changes with the intro, I wouldn't get rid of it, just shorten it up to 1 second, ditch the music and get some sort of catchy sound or tone. Otherwise I think your channel is great, I rarely skip any parts of your videos.

Dean Kamen invented the Segway. Jimi Heselden bought the company in 2009 and is the one who died while riding a segway. Dean Kamen is still very much alive and well.
I like your intro a lot. It's short and sweet, and it gives you a unique audio identity in the sea of reaction videos. It's exactly what an intro should be, so I would definitely like you to keep it.

The tree, look like it was going to fall a certain way so he went the opposite way.
Then it looked like it was going to go another way so he went the other direction.
The tree was rotten, so it was responding different than normal, but he was making evaluations, based on what the tree was doing, and trying to get into the safety zone.
Even when he was cutting the tree, he was off to the side in case it kicked forward which is what he thought was going to happen.
Lumberjacks know exactly where the safety area is, they don't just blindly run because they'll get smushed

9:34 firstly, what the woman was riding was not a Segway, it was a knock off that has a throttle and brakes and 3 wheels. A Segway has 2 wheels and the motion is controlled by the user leaning forward or back. And secondly, the inventor of the Segway did NOT die on a Segway. The CEO of the company that owned the patent did but Dean Kamen, the inventor, is still alive and well and still inventing. At 71, he currently holds over 1000 patents.

The guy with the chainsaw on the boat was lucky there weren't any gators around. That looked the American south (Florida) where gators are everywhere. An 85 year old woman in Florida was killed last week by a gator while walking her dog near a pond in her retirement community.
I think we may have lost a coupla people in this compilation. That bear wasn't fooling around and the hippo had plenty of free time to wait for a snack.
When a tree breaks like that it's very dangerous, the one where he cut it down, it's called barber chairing, it looked either rotten or it was already split, but it's a dangerous situation, also with him running away a lot of times they are on a steep hill and it makes it hard to get away easily, he should've had a route already planned but maybe he couldn't get up where he planned or something, either way that's why it's the most dangerous job
A lot of these are what we call "Hold my beer moments. As in " You can't do that, you'll get hurt"! Other guy: " Oh yeah!! Here hold my beer!"

I've read all 69 comments and it seems we're split 50/50. While I like the blokes' banter, at the start of the video I hit the right arrow key repeatedly to get to the actual footage and their commentary during or after. There have been exceptions but that's usually how I watch.

It's still an intro that's been ingrained into my mind. For myself I'm very indifferent as to whether you use it or not. I'll watch either way.

Dave's right. Bouldering is a real thing. It's when we practice holds and such. We don't climb high, so no need to rope up.
Mr Roger's sweater wasn't iconic at the beginning, but it was at the end. It's the things you stick with long term that become your "calling card", your trademark. If you change too many things, so that your original bits aren't left, then you've lost that continuity. Maybe it's your intro, maybe not. But it's something to consider.
The English guy who died on the Segway was not the inventor. But he did purchase the company in 2009 and died the next year when he fell off a cliff while going backwards to allow some hikers to get past him. His net worth was approximately 350m when he died.
I watch the intro 30 times on repeat, then skip the rest of the video.

As a kid I was at a place called Marine World in California and watching an elephant show where they step over the trainer while they're laying down and the elephant actually took a sh*t right on a trainers chest
4:10 - try this but with horses. Both cyclists and the illegal dirtbikers. Where I live has tons of specific mountain bike routes mixed with wide trails for both emergency vehicles and pedestrians.
One such trek we were out on was already a nightmare since it was winter and the horses were wound up. I was on a young mare that was really doing her best to dispose of me, she had been acting up pretty much since I got on (better me than the paying customer that was on her). I'd just gotten a few minutes of respite from her nonsense when she suddenly started up again but was looking up into the trees on the slope above us.
Yeah, some dipshit on a bike had clearly seen us but decided to ride down and crash into the middle of the horses. There was pandemonium. One of the staff that was riding one of the naughty ponies literally screamed at this guy on the floor since he would have seen us before we even knew he was there.
I don't know how we all managed to make it back in one piece with no one falling off.

I like the intro; it's catchy. Sometimes i skip it, sometimes not. I wouldn't do away with it, but you could maybe cut out the first half of it to get to the video quicker. (i.e. only play the last 8 count) And play the long version at the end. Sometimes i skip the intro chatter, sometimes not. I've noticed that the intro discussion has been shorter lately, which I think works better. I think the format generally works. If I'm not in a chatty mood, it's easy to just skip ahead.

I am not a big fan of the music in the intro. I usually skip it. But I enjoy the banter before and during the reaction.

The little opening is fine, it's short and I've no objections. However, I've always noticed that in the little cartoon pic, Daves hands are quite tiny, while Daz's are relatively huge. Is this some kind of subliminal message, or is it a veiled reference to things not discussed? Just wondering.

I prefer no intro or shorter intro -- whenever I watch a video on other channels they always act as if they're a hollywood production company -- the first 30 seconds of every video is fancy graphics, music, and introduction (not an introduction where they're talking, but an introduction like their own version of the MGM Lion or something) -- 30 sometimes 45 seconds of wasting my time -- jsut get on with the video LOL

I do skip the into but i will say that you guys definitely have gotten better with doing more concise intros as when watching older vids it'd be 4 mins into the video and your still talking abt random shit but now its more like 1 minute
