  • Western Australia is the largest producer of iron ore in the world. Port Hedland is Australia's largest export port, with the majority of exports being iron ore from the harbor. Ships are being loaded all around the clock, with the only thing stopping them being the massive cyclones experienced in this part of the world! These road trains and the massive trains of the Pilbara travel to the port to load these ships for export. The infrastructure here must be seen to be believed!

    • @rickybartels3941
      @rickybartels3941 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because without super quad permits the entire combination can not exceed 53.5m in length so thats the sfaest and most efficient way to make the most of the available space throughout the truck and trailing equipment

Companies don’t like each other but drivers are completely different. Summer just gone the mine I go to about 80kms from Marble Bar cracked 55 Celsius and yet we still drive them at full noise. We have to,grossing 194t.

      They typically don't hold up to the conditions. In city areas they out number the American built as they are a better drive.
      That said the American ones "kenworth" etc are built here. Kenworth are built in Melbourne.
