Thanks, Much appreciated! It will be interesting to see where this takes us. Definitely want to get some serious fishing time in on this one before we start the next!
Haha, Yes Sir! You are right about that, It looks bigger in the water I think. The extra room is going to be Sooo nice. Man, I really appreciate you following the build and the positive comments!
Wow!!! Nothing like the first run on a new hull design. This is what we always imagine it should be. Those are some impressive performance numbers. The MPG, super quick hole shot and low RPM cruise speed are something to be proud of. You really dialed it in on the design and weight distribution. I am very happy for you! I know it is a tremendous sense of accomplishment for you and Mark. Take care and thanks for keeping us up to speed on the progress.
Thank you, Sir! It was a pretty good day, so glad she ran out nice! I am pretty happy with the numbers, looking forward to finishing her out and seeing how she does with all equipment installed. I will keep you guys posted on the progress!
Thanks, Capt!! We are pretty proud of Her! You never know, We will see what the response is. I would consider selling the molds or partnering with someone to build more if someone was interested. Right now, I am just ready to go catch some fish in this thing! Thanks for watching, and please spread the word about the channel. Appreciate it!
That is one sweet ass boat I was so thrilled to see you guys get that in the water and wow it looks awesome in the water beautiful boat so happy for you guys
Awesome man!! It's been a blast to watch the build and the laughs you guys have out there says it all. I think I hear a "hull #2" chant starting in the comment section...
Glad you are enjoying the vids! It was a happy day going on that first ride, hard to describe the feeling! Looking forward to catching some big fish before we start another boat. I need a little recovery time! I really appreciate your support of the channel, Thanks for watching!
Thanks Ron! We have just been super busy with fishing charters. Hard to find any time to edit vids. Wish you were down here, the boat ride was awesome!
New to the channel and a new subscriber here. Thank you for sharing your expertise, technique and tips on how to do the various marine related tasks. -Respectfully
Captain Joe, yours and Mark’s face says it all! Glad the first run was so successful. That was no accident. Y’all know what you are doing. Can’t wait to go fishing!
Thank you Mr Mark, Wish you could have been there for that first ride!! Can't wait to get her all rigged out, and get you and your crew on some big FISH!
This is fantastic! Congrats. It was good talking to you recently and look forward to our time together! Been waiting to see this. The smile on your faces says it all. Well done Joe and Mark!
She's a beauty, and has the three "Fs"- Functional, Fast and e-FFicient, LOL! How is the stability on the drift? I went back and watched all of your build videos. It's a work of art. I applaud you for taking the time and effort to film, edit and upload the build process. That's a load of work in itself. The instructional value is priceless. Thanks.
Thanks so much! Yes, it has been a lot of work for sure, but I really have enjoyed sharing the process with you guys. I appreciate you watching and commenting, I couldn't spend all the time on the videos without everyone's support.
Mark was a ton of help and inspiration on this project, but this boat is my design from start to finish. Our Dad was a great teacher, who taught us much about building quality boats. Wish he was here to see this one run for the first time! Thanks for watching and commenting!
@FishBumpTV I'm in the middle of a rebuild 1974 24 aquasport it was a side console. 3rd one I've done. I'm gonna try and organize my pics and work on videos like you. Maybe I'll have something for you to see!
Yep, I feel the pride welling up here & I didn't even help ya'll but I would have had I known you. That said, it's cool seeing this beast of a boat getting on the water. I've still got a lot of videos to watch but the amount of work is incalculable for me as I've never been involved in such a huge undertaking! I was smiling here as you guys were laughing. The magic is looking large.
Haha, it does! We had a blast that day! We have a whole series of videos here on the channel detailing the build, that you might enjoy. Thanks for watching!
Thanks! She is doing everything we hoped for, we will be taking a charter out in her today. It is so much more comfortable to run fishing trips in this new boat verses my previous one. I appreciate you watching!
Yeehaw! I've been watching your build videos and learning a lot from your meticulous attention to detail and discussion of why you do things the way you do. This video was icing on the cake. Well deserved, so good to see those big grins. Congrats on a great boat, she's purdy and she rips!!
Yep! We put in some serious hours over the last few months! It has been a lot of work, but Man it was worth it! That first ride was one of the best experiences of my life. We are still working on the finishing touches, electronics, upholstery etc. You know how it is, your always going to be working on something if you own a boat. Looking forward to posting some fishing vids in the new boat soon! I appreciate You watching and commenting! And good luck with your project!
Thanks! We are very happy with it. We have over 20 videos documenting the build from the start to the current phase. We have them on a playlist. Hope you enjoy it!
Hey man, it's Taylor from Arkansas. That thing looks awesome in the water and hole shot is impressive for a 29fter. Can't wait to come down there and fish off it in the future. 🎣
Yep! Needed a boat that could fish shallow back bay, and also go way offshore when we want to. I think we got the right boat! Pretty happy with how she performs. Thanks for watching!
That's like watching your children born..... almost ! I want to build one now, just trying to figure out where the time is coming from around working on everyone else's boats !
That's a good comparison! Building a boat is very satisfying, BUT requires A LOT of time and money! I am ready to put this one to work, and start making some of that money back! Appreciate you guys watching!
@@FishBumpTV I was just throwing an old joke your way Brother!!! I’ve heard everyone has done it at least once! I was probably conceived in a boat and fishing 2-3 weekends a month and rigging boats at my Dads boat business from age 8-13! Hell I did it in my first boat I/O at 26 and it was about 50 F outside of course and boat was sluggish coming off trailer for first time and I was thinking she just didn’t like the cold or a roller had seized?? So I goosed it and got it off ! Because I wasnt letting that keep my pseudo dad and I missing our first opportunity to fish in a boat, right? He pulled the trailer out and I’m putting around ramp area waiting on him and noticed motor sounding peculiar and looking back at it and waters coming out from cover and hollered at him to put the trailer back in quickly but he couldn’t hear me! So I shut it off and jumped in the cold water to inspect the problem and of course I couldn’t reach any of my 2 spare or the plug that should of been in there, because they’ve rolled back from reach! But I was able to reach the empty ice bag and stuck it in there! Then I got back in to get plug and had to get back in the COLD ASS water! LOL!!! Pulled up and tied it up to dock really good and took 45 minutes for the bilge pump to do its job! We went fishing then ! Guess who was installing a back-up pump, float switch and a by-pass to the float switch the next weekend, right!!! Also once we got going looking for a spot to fish & laughing everything off we started bogging down ,discovered a sandbar that wasn’t on the map but we still enjoyed the day! Needless to say that was our first & last trip ever to Lake Houston!!

where is logan.. got me excited just watching...
He was there for a little while, but had somewhere he had to be for the rest of the day. Glad you enjoyed the video!
What kind of top end speed are you getting with twin 150s, also what's the max HP for this?
We are still making some adjustments, but we are currently seeing top-end speeds right at 50mph. Max hp will be 500. Thanks for watching!
@FishBumpTV I've watched all the videos, and I'm looking for a bigger custom boat to fish walleye tournaments in the Midwest which includes the great lakes...which we make long run and limited even with ranger 622 and 400hp, vexus dvx22, skeeter wx2200 etc they have 60-64 gal fuel tanks and limited on run and wasted time of refueling and time is money...I'm interested in a hull in the next year. I have built boats before bowdidge marine plans that are all wood and fiberglass, and I really like the Coosa material.
