I watch a lot of Rockhound hunt/cut videos, and am learning a lot. Theo stabilizes ammonite and ammolite before polishing. Maybe that would help with the flaking before cutting? Thanks for your videos. They look awesome. 😊
I always wondered what an oyster fossil looked like inside. So cool! Never imagined pyrite! I wonder if any of those little white spots are a small pearl that started. Nice job polishing on such delicate material! 😊
Soo exciting sooo exciting. Hope to begin to grasp the names that define the content that you are sharing. I think you should keep the 2- 3 pieces that excite you … when you can really top it you may adjust your collection. Love your presentation…again. And the music works very well.
Awesome video man. Glad that Troll didn't comment. Your content is so wholesome and fun just makes me bummed because you bust your butt to find these rocks/fossils video it then edit it. Just let it be know that we appreciate ya bud.
I love the details of ammonite I would be interested to know if starting on the second grit wheel would be better? Since the material in the oyster was softer! Love your videos, you make it fun!
Howdy, another random thought. Maybe get a light diffuser if you don't already have one? Would help a ton with the glare from the light when trying to show off the cool parts. Won't get as hard of a reflection
Those are amazing! Have you considered using cyanoacrylate glue to stabilize the weak spots before polishing? It holds up thru months in a tumbler...maybe it would help with this process...I enjoy your videos!
I see one of those oyster halves had initials in it. MBX, if my eyes work correctly. Never seen those halved. Ammonites, yes: I have some, but not the oysters. Have some of those too, but whole. Have a good week / end :)
My favorite fossil tends to be corals. Too bad your oysters broke. They're limestone, right? It can be pretty flaky. The pyrite is prolly what saved them. Pretty. ❤️🏏🎸
Thought so. I have 3 Epiphones. One is a Masterbuilt 400 and a Les Paul electric(Epiphone as well). And an Ibanez which I use a lot because of it’s amazing sound.
Agate dad I just got a gift card from my dad, and do you know what a good metal detector is that is below 100$ amazing video and one day I want to be just like you! 😊😁
What’s your favorite fossil?!
Fossil crabs or echinoids
"favorite" doesn't seem to compute? ❤❤❤ They are all so cool. The concept that this was once alive, is just too cool.
My favorite fossil is agatized coral. 😊
The successful oyster just because I like pyrite!

Love the content and results of your cutting and polishing these beauties! Thanks for educating us with your fun videos.
Glad you like them!
Your presentations are lovely, endearing and the music, comments and humor are great.
I LOVE the polished ammonites! I could get lost in the natural detail!🥰
I like the ammonite beat, and I really love the one without the calcite!
I like the way that Theo Kellison calls them "devil's toenails" Creepy but if the toenail fits! My fave fossil would have to be the corals
The broken parts can still be polished and used for jewelry!!!
Also use super glue to repair!!
Fabulous find and show! I live vicariously thru you. Thank you
I polished a fossil stone with marine sandpaper and zinc ointment. It's was a pink petosky stone that turned out amazing.
Wow I would love to see that!
Nice! The one has a BX in it! Cool. Those ammonites are really nice!
This was so cool!🎉 Thanks for sharing😁

As he holds, it reminds me of the wings often held as Saint, angels, motorcycles wings…just my thought.
Freakin beautiful! The detail 😮
And the ammos are stunning.
Hey Taylor , those fossils are so amazing!!! , great video 👍👍 (I hope those are going to be on etsy)
Thanks!

Maybe coating the surface with resin to give them shine instead of using the cabking?
I don’t add unnatural products to my pieces.
So sad that the oysters broke, but still look beautiful. You do such a wonderful job!
Thank you so much!
@@AgateDad, no seriously, thank you! I look forward to your videos. You are the only rock/fossil cutter I watch. Bless you.

Appreciate the kindness bud, that’s what we need more of.
2:32 I would call that “The Ram”!
Wow, that pyrite is awsome.
It sure is!
Those were very beautiful.

i've been thinking, that round shaped pyrite spot with the fossilized shel around, can't it be a pearl?
My favorite fossil tends to be corals. Too bad your oysters broke. They're limestone, right? It can be pretty flaky. The pyrite is prolly what saved them. Pretty. ❤️🏏🎸
Can you glue the broken parts back on?
I have a fossilized clam that I would love to have cut open! 😊
Lol… I’ve always heard the gryphea referred to as ‘devils toenails!’
That’s funny
Those first two oysters are also known as Devils Toe Nails.
The Oysters reminds me of a hurricane or tropical storm as if you were looking on a radar.
Love it!
I don't know how, but somehow... the ammonite would make a gorgeous clock face.
The yellowish spot, is that the pearl?
Pyrite
Good morning!
Did you find the amonites?
What brand is your guitar?
Yamaha

very pretty
Stromatoporoid for sure🙂
Doesn’t seem to be that for the two fossils shown in the video ☺️
@@AgateDad oh thought you meant my personal favorite of all the fossils…I like the ammonites🙂
Looks like there was a pearl in it.
Angel wings
I Think you might have forgotten to give your friend his sandwiches.
