Good made video, mr 1960 Gambit. Have seen this trains earlier on video of Jaw Tooth, but the heritage locomotive of CSX see i on that video very short. On your video can i read that on the long hoof: honoring our Veterans. Good shot on the locomotive of CSX. Thx for this topvideo in Kenova 🚆🚆🚆💪👍💪👍👌🚆🚆 with a heavy coal train. Greet from Zandvoort the Netherlands.
Wow! Excellent catching all the trains in Kenova, West Virginia, I like them, they're awesome, I already uploaded the video of mine, that has the CSX I131 with the KCSM4500, along with the UP locomotive, @1960gambit, Scott, thank you very much and have a nice day.
That coal train was incredible, Scott!! 2 lead locomotives, 3 mid-train DPUs plus 2 trailing DPUs! I believe it had 209 cars also. That was a super heavy train, to say the least. I think the empty train had 204 cars. What a catch! 😃😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤❤
What an awesome catch .. a loaded coal drag, with 3 mid-train DPU's, and 2 pushing, passing over an incredibly long drag of empties. An SD70 leading an intermodal .. what an incredible day of railfanning it must've been .. thanks for sharing.
Scott, you will never get another shot like you did on those first two trains, a loaded NS coal train with seven locomotives going over a empty CSX, coal train Man what a way to start a video I mean a excellent video, my friend and then catch another one coming in empty going to the docks to drop those cars off and pick up loaded cars and come back out but anyway, my friend you stay cool out there and stay safe and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one brother but that was a great video
Oh, and that was not flat spots on those wheels Scott, they were running over some jointed rail, because after they got off at that that train was rolling smooth. I think it was JT that thought the same thing one day until he walked over there and looked at the track but anyway just thought you would wanna know.
Thank you very much for the epic video, Scott! I loved the coal over and under, and the longest coal train I've seen East of the Mississippi! I'd like to visit there but will not likely have the opportunity to do so. I want you to have fun for me, too! Have a fabulous weekend and next week and we'll chat again. 😃😃😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks Gary! If everything works out, and I think it will, Jaw Tooth and I are heading to Chattanooga for 3 or 4 days in a couple of weeks. Gonna get some real good stuff there!
Hi Scott, well the start of your video is probably some of the best live action trains I've ever seen. & 1776 heritage unit as well! Awesome footage worth the early start & long drive. I always look forward to videos from Kenova & the beautiful long bridge. It looked like you all had a fantastic day. ❤😊👍
Welcome back to West 'By Gawd'!! One of these days, I need to drive down to Kenova and meet up with y'all. I live between Huntington and Charleston, about 35 mins from Ceredo/Kenova area. Looks like y'all had a fun day of railfanning!! "Jawhoo" is right!!😂😂 Tell him it's a mix between Jawtooth and Yahoo!! 😂😂 I'm just teasing, of course. Hauling that West Virginia Black Gold!!
Probably close to what it is going to cost to replace the one that big container ship hit in Baltimore. The Kenova Bridge is 6,100 feet long and probably built a lot heavier duty than the Baltimore bridge is.
Yes, there are restaurants in town, but if you go over into Kentucky which is only about a 5 minute drive then head West up route 60 into Ashland, they got all kinds of stuff there.
actually Scott the first 2 drags could have been way better they could have had coal eating Allegheny's instead of diesels!!! these heritage units i'd rather they'd keep the old lines running as divisions!!
Wow! Banjo! Love the coal trains, one on top,one under the bridge. Nice intermodal over the bridge. Another empty coal train under the bridge.
Thanks Margie! More to come, have a great day! 😁
Great shot on the over and under in Kenova. GREAT CATCH!!! "Electric Car Fuel," love it!!!
Thanks Jeff! 😁
A heritage unit. A coal train over and under. Plus another coal train. Amazing video
Thank you very much!
Awesome those coal trains, over & under. Good stuff as always.
Thanks Jimbo!👍Have a great Sunday!
What an awesome video to start my morning with! Epic over and under, and more great catches! Thanks Scott!

Thanks Jim! Have a great Sunday!
You film it, I watch it from the comforts of my house! Wow, what awesome action! Diamonds in the rough converted into electricity!
Thank you Dale! I`m glad you liked it!
That was so rare to see empty CSX coal train on the bottom and a fully loaded electric car fuel NS meet on top Mr Scott
It was a good catch for sure, especially the 5 DPUs! Thanks Kidd!
That was a very good NS intermodal at 132 cars. Another great catch, Scott! 😀😀😀😀❤❤❤❤
Absolutely fantastic video. Amazing to watch. Right place for you. Well done. Many thanks
Thank you Robina! Kenova is one of my favorite places to go!
Another good empty coal with 97 cars. 😀😀😀😀❤❤❤❤

Yep, I went over there and looked after the train went by and saw that bad spot in the rail at the rail joint.

Awesome video but you had a great start with the over and under
We sure did!
That CSX empty coal train had your buddy Tubby on those cars. That was a Awesome catch of the over under. Great video Gambit.
Thanks so much. I bet the guy that draws Tubby can do it faster than he can sign his name! 😅
