Definitely a favorite of mine. These are the hardiest plants I know of. Here in Canada we have long winter months reaching -25 to -30 degrees celsius but these plants always come back after the winter. I don't know many other plants that can survive our winter.
Sorrell isn't a herb I usually cook with, but I shall check out more about this one. I have a small herb garden (in pots) growing on my patio. I shall get some seeds and add this.
@@KhangStarrI want to say thank you for what you do on planting whether it's veggies chili peppers herbs! I've learned a lot. Here is a pepper that I don't know if you know about I haven't seen it but it's called the Mad Hatter pepper. I'm growing it I'll let you know how it comes out. Thanks again.
Where do you buy the big leaves? I think it called elephant veggie. I want to grow them but don’t know where to get them. The big leaves and you only eat the stem. Can you do video on that?
This is the moment I was waiting for! 🌟 [2:20] Such a great twist
Red Veined Sorrel looks amazing
Great video as always. Great garden tour.
So it is like Rhubarb in terms of taste.
I throw a handful of shredded leaves in my ramen before I cook it. Yum. :)
Em thích giọng tiếng anh và kiến thức làm
vườn của anh quá! Có phải anh là người Việt k ạ :)
Sorrel omlete is awesome
2:14 Is that Shisho ?
I tried germinating it's seeds. Never succeeded.
Yes. I only planted them one time and now they grow every year like weed.
Thanks. I finally know what these are called in English, been referring to these as "rau chua", love these for banh xeo.
Haha this is also what we call them in my family. We enjoy eating it with salad rolls and com suon.

I’ll definitely give it a try. Just bought some seeds 🐞🌶🐞
Planted a bunch of the French variety this year. Really looking forward to it. How's the red-veined varieties' flavor in comparison?
Personally, I prefer the green ones. The red ones look pretty but they are slightly bitter and is very fibrous when heat is high.
Red taste like lemon zest to me
Khang , what's the new pepper lovers site?
Mine went to see already, can I still eat it
They don't taste as good when allowed to go to seed. They're best when the leaves are plump in cooler months.
Chinese call it 大黄(big yellow ) . I never ate it before. After watching your VID, I'll try. Thanks.
I will definitely try planting sorrel but where can i find it?
Search for sorrel seeds online, they're pretty common on many sites.
