Camp Room Tour - Fort McMurray, Alberta

A quick tour of my room in a camp located in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada or in the Oil Patch if you will.
If you are going to be staying in a room that is made of connected trailers, this might be what your room will look like.

The rooms for regular workers don't even come close to this. This is only if you have money. The rest are suck in a small 10 x 12 room sharing a bathroom with someone next door. Don't be mistaken. It is NOT like this for everyone.

KKD Oilsands rooms are like this for everyone. I thought the old camp in Long Lake was shut down

If you only share a bathroom with your neighbour your ok . Old camp walk down haul and 100 guys 10 showers

yeah from what i hear most camps are not like this lol but thats pretty nice
you would think with all the money flowing around that this would be the norm or to have some kind of system where you pay them like a really reduced rate for the room cause i wouldnt mind that at all

I hope you enjoyed that room cause most of the place you go it's a shared bathroom. Not too pleasant when you can hear the other guy having a shit late at night. All camp should be at least like this one.
