Very informative, thank you! I just bought this little bugger and tomorrow it's time for its first time on my own Triumph! The sun is shining in Sweden and I do think (hope) we'll get an early spring this year. I wish you the best on the roads!
Ahh thank you, I really appreciate you saying that ☺️ it really is a great bit of kit, I hope you find it easy to use too, have a fabulous trip 😎 #RideSafe
Thank you, I appreciate you saying that ☺️ It’s a great bit of kit that is easy to use, which is perfect for me 😜 sounds like you are happy with yours too, I bet you have some fantastic rides where you are 🤩
thanks for the overview from your experience :-) Just getting a CB500X and the XT2 is on my wish list, but it hurts to think about how much it would cost me!
Thanks for the video Kaz! Can I ask - does the XT2 give you the option to specify types of road to avoid? E.g could I plot a route but ask it to avoid motorways where possible?
Thanks Jack, I appreciate that 👍☺️ Yes you can tell the xt2 to avoid motorways, toll roads etc and you can do this while riding if you come across traffic/accident and need to reroute
I'm in the same situation, I'm wondering how the XT2 working out for you *with the original XT mount* -- the fact that it charges a bit slower…has that at all been a problem in any way? ty

Kaz does it show lane guidance
Hey John, not that I recall but I will have a look 👀
Kaz one other point everyone I spoke too say don’t use tread
yes, the XT2 uses the Tread app, I found this worked really well, and you can plan routes and send it the XT
hi, does the XT2 fit on the original mount that the XT mount?
Hey, yes I believe so 👍
It does but it will charge at a slower rate - the XT charges at 5 v and the XT2 at 12 v.
