I really like the way you do your videos with the voice over. The video depicts a realistic representation of how the hunt goes without it being a collection of covey rises and constant success. Your trip mirrors the same experience we had in Montana this past season. Good stuff.
Thank you I appreciate that. It's definitely not all success, as you know there's more to a hunt than just the point walk ups. It was tougher out there this year. I wish I could get a cool week. We've been there all 4 weeks of September over the last few years and it's always hot! Haha
I was wondering when we were going to start seeing videos from your season this year! Looks like an awesome hunt! The production quality on your videos is incredible these days. I still love the early videos with Kaizer, but these are really something else.
Man, thank you very much for the kind words, it really means a lot! You must be a long time viewer if you know the Red Dog! Sorry for the lack of content, there won't be as many as normal this season but I have a couple more to cut.
Hi Dave, I enjoyed watching this video. Really challenging birds this year! Have you had any problems with the shells? They are sometimes affected by the temperatures. Thanks for the release, Man! Ciaooo!
Hey Stefano, yes tough conditions this year but a great trip as always. I was using some very light loads the first couple days, then I changed to a heavier faster load since birds were flushing further out.
We haven't encountered any snakes fortunately, they are there though. I suppose we've run over some unknowingly though! No snakes in my normal ruffed grouse woods so I have little experience with them.
They were some 1 oz target loads 7 1/2, not plated. Work fine on close birds but the wind and jumpy birds made it not ideal. I changed to 1 1/4 oz and a bit faster, solved that.

Welcome back
Thank you!
Went there the first week of October. Warm ,dry and windy. Still had a great time. Hope all is well with you. Thanks for the video.
This was the last week of September sounds like the same weather! We can't seem to beat the heat out there. Still wouldn't pass it up.
Happy New year. Great video. Looked like you made the best of it!
Thanks! It was a great day despite the conditions. Wouldn't change a thing though (except those light loads ha).

The heat sucks I have to pack 2 gallons of water for the dogs early season. What kind of snakes do you have back there?
