Obito was mostly used to make sure no one got out and alerted the rest of the village after killing the police. They also explain how Shisui died, which was due to an unshown aburame clan member who used paralysis bugs, Itachi kills him before leaving the village.

The Tsukiyomi thing had me confused too with it's exclusivity, but after they started adding other exclusives to the MS, I understood. Also, Tsukuyomi has stayed as my favorite JUTSU, not just genjutsu, in the series.

Pretty much. When Sasuke gets EMS, his body no longer is afflicted with side effects after using the mangyeko techniques. He spams Amaterasu and sussano and does not get harmed by doing so. When he had MS, his body would ache and his eyes would bleed. This stuff no longer happens when he has ems.
Explain how broken the potential is for Naruto's shadow clone jutsu. Like can't he pretty easily acquire thousands of life times worth of knowledge by sending out tens of thousands of clones into the world? with his insane chakra reserves after the war?

i think the reason Tsukuyomi is actually uncounterable by jinjuriki is he can torture them for a lifetime in less than a second, which means by the time the bijuu gather chakra to slap them out of it its already too late.

Shadow clones are objectively OP. You can do a million different tasks at once. And you can potentially do several years worth of studying and training in a matter of hours/days. If Naruto utilized his clones properly, he would be a genius.

i think tsukuyomi bypassing all genjutsu immunity of all kind is mostly because it can manipulate your perception of time since even if you were only under tsukuyomi for 1 second itachi can make you experience 76 hours in that second so all genjutsu immunity is sorta moot under those conditions

This was actually a really decent video. I have a couple things i want to correct and some things I want to expand on since Swag didn't mention them. The data book states Sasuke broke Tsukuyomi on his own. Now yes, logically if you consider Itachi was never trying to kill Sasuke it follows Itachi would have let him escape it if Sasuke couldn't but its also completely possible that Sasuke broke Tsukuyomi before Itachi had a chance to let him out and it follows with the canon entry I cited from the data book. Which means that really you don't NEED mangekyo and if you're good enough at genjutsu with a mastered 3 tome sharingan you might be able to get out too, not that it really matter because literally every Uchiha in the series has a mangekyo. Okay now I want to expand on perfect Jinchuriki. Most of you probably aren't happy with just taking Naruto's word for it because he also mentioned Amataratsu was GG even though its not. Tsukuyomi controls the users perception of time as stated. Meaning that by the time the Bijuu partner knows something is wrong its too late. I have heard theories that Bijuu and the host share a mind so they can perceive the events together, and that is an interesting theory but imo it is kinda deconfirmed by the fact that 8-tails didn't catch the subtle genjutsu Bee was caught in by edo Itachi until Bee from the 8-tails perspective used a tentacle to grab a bunch of air. One more counter that is brought up a lot is shadow clones, which Swag didn't mention at all. Now this is going to be controversial but a clone getting caught in Tsukuyomi would kill the main user as well. Why? Am I an Itachitard?! No, listen and try to stop breathing really heavily for a sec. Remember how clones work in terms of the main body getting the memories and experience from the clones. Its how Naruto mastered infusing wind element into Rasengan remember? You'll also remember that training also mentally exhausted Naruto to the point he passed out. The memories and experiences from the clones go to the original when they poof. Meaning that if a clone experiences 100 years of torture and poof, that experience is going right into the main body. Like swag mentioned the brain suddenly getting 100 years worth of experience at once is fatal. It breaks the mind, even if the light novel about Itachi didn't exist that would still hold true, memories are just neural connections formed in the brain. Its not some abstract thing. Your memories are literally a physical thing, and no matter how smart you are the brain does have a finite amount of space within it. This ultimately means that anyone in the series who does not have a master sharingan, mangekyo or sharinnegan is fucked with a capital F. It would literally kill Naruto even at the height of his 6 paths power if caught in it. The only real way to counter it is simply not be caught in it, which as swag mentioned is completely depended on intel. You can't actively avoid something you don't know exists. And in many cases having partial intel could be worse. Even if Hashirama, for example, had some method of fighting mangekyo genjutsu we don't know about if he is cocky thinking that means Itachi couldn't place him in genjutsu and looks at his face, like he did fighting madara, he is dead. Also while Itachi does say Koto is more powerful I'd kinda place them as tied. They have different enough abilities and activation conditions that makes them both superior if certain situations. Like Perfect Jinchuriki, or against someone who has backup that can kai them, etc. The only thing Koto has over Tsukuyomi really is that it works on Uchiha with MS and the possibility that it doesn't require eye contact.
the first paragraph, the first time tsukuyomi was introduced hasnt been paid enough attention to not saying you're wrong but it was stated that tsukuyomi is UNBREAKABLE, therefore you cant break out of it, like your mind is trapped and even disruption of chakra cannot since that is the method to break out and it wouldnt be worth mentioning as unbreakable if you can with chakra control but , itachi did say that only someone with a kekkei genkai sharingan can see through tsukuyomi therefore explaining why the databooks say that sasuke broke out of it and why kakashi couldnt as it wasnt his kekkei genkai and it also just shows that non uchihas are dead if they get caught in it
The only reason sasuke broke out of the genjustu is because the Curse Mark Augmented his sharigan hence if you rewatch the fight it wasn't working until he went level 2 curse mark then it broke
I find it super fitting that Itachi, a pacifist at heart, would have this as his signatute Mangekyo ability. Depending on how he casts the illusion he can immobilize his target with either kind or painful imagery. Either way Itachi doesnt physically harm them but can affect them subliminally/psychologically which mirrors his motivations quite perfectly.

Actually it's explained in the manga that Itachi fully let Sasuke out of tsukoyomi. He didn't let Sasuke break out, because that would be impossible. He dispelled the genjutsu to make Sasuke think he broke it. If you are caught in Tsukoyomi, you are entirely under itachi's control and he can kill you, break your mind, or let you live at whim.

No, Tsukuyomi can affect anybody that looks at Itachi’s eyes when he casts the Genjutsu, not just one. Kakashi even stated to Kurenai and Asuma to not look into his eyes or you would be cought in Tsukuyomi. Infinite Tsukuyomi can affect everybody on Earth except for the ones with a Rinnegan.

They also explain how Shisui died, which was due to an unshown aburame clan member who used paralysis bugs, Itachi kills him before leaving the village.

i think tsukuyomi bypassing all genjutsu immunity of all kind is mostly because it can manipulate your perception of time since even if you were only under tsukuyomi for 1 second itachi can make you experience 76 hours in that second so all genjutsu immunity is sorta moot under those conditions

This was actually a really decent video. I have a couple things i want to correct and some things I want to expand on since Swag didn't mention them.
The data book states Sasuke broke Tsukuyomi on his own. Now yes, logically if you consider Itachi was never trying to kill Sasuke it follows Itachi would have let him escape it if Sasuke couldn't but its also completely possible that Sasuke broke Tsukuyomi before Itachi had a chance to let him out and it follows with the canon entry I cited from the data book. Which means that really you don't NEED mangekyo and if you're good enough at genjutsu with a mastered 3 tome sharingan you might be able to get out too, not that it really matter because literally every Uchiha in the series has a mangekyo.
Okay now I want to expand on perfect Jinchuriki. Most of you probably aren't happy with just taking Naruto's word for it because he also mentioned Amataratsu was GG even though its not. Tsukuyomi controls the users perception of time as stated. Meaning that by the time the Bijuu partner knows something is wrong its too late. I have heard theories that Bijuu and the host share a mind so they can perceive the events together, and that is an interesting theory but imo it is kinda deconfirmed by the fact that 8-tails didn't catch the subtle genjutsu Bee was caught in by edo Itachi until Bee from the 8-tails perspective used a tentacle to grab a bunch of air.
One more counter that is brought up a lot is shadow clones, which Swag didn't mention at all. Now this is going to be controversial but a clone getting caught in Tsukuyomi would kill the main user as well. Why? Am I an Itachitard?! No, listen and try to stop breathing really heavily for a sec. Remember how clones work in terms of the main body getting the memories and experience from the clones. Its how Naruto mastered infusing wind element into Rasengan remember? You'll also remember that training also mentally exhausted Naruto to the point he passed out.
The memories and experiences from the clones go to the original when they poof. Meaning that if a clone experiences 100 years of torture and poof, that experience is going right into the main body. Like swag mentioned the brain suddenly getting 100 years worth of experience at once is fatal. It breaks the mind, even if the light novel about Itachi didn't exist that would still hold true, memories are just neural connections formed in the brain. Its not some abstract thing. Your memories are literally a physical thing, and no matter how smart you are the brain does have a finite amount of space within it. This ultimately means that anyone in the series who does not have a master sharingan, mangekyo or sharinnegan is fucked with a capital F. It would literally kill Naruto even at the height of his 6 paths power if caught in it.
The only real way to counter it is simply not be caught in it, which as swag mentioned is completely depended on intel. You can't actively avoid something you don't know exists. And in many cases having partial intel could be worse. Even if Hashirama, for example, had some method of fighting mangekyo genjutsu we don't know about if he is cocky thinking that means Itachi couldn't place him in genjutsu and looks at his face, like he did fighting madara, he is dead.
Also while Itachi does say Koto is more powerful I'd kinda place them as tied. They have different enough abilities and activation conditions that makes them both superior if certain situations. Like Perfect Jinchuriki, or against someone who has backup that can kai them, etc. The only thing Koto has over Tsukuyomi really is that it works on Uchiha with MS and the possibility that it doesn't require eye contact.

I find it super fitting that Itachi, a pacifist at heart, would have this as his signatute Mangekyo ability. Depending on how he casts the illusion he can immobilize his target with either kind or painful imagery. Either way Itachi doesnt physically harm them but can affect them subliminally/psychologically which mirrors his motivations quite perfectly.

Actually it's explained in the manga that Itachi fully let Sasuke out of tsukoyomi. He didn't let Sasuke break out, because that would be impossible. He dispelled the genjutsu to make Sasuke think he broke it. If you are caught in Tsukoyomi, you are entirely under itachi's control and he can kill you, break your mind, or let you live at whim.
