It is wonderful that your husband supports you with your love for handbags and you can talk to him about it. I definitely agree with you about having fun with you collection and not being afraid to try something different from the norm. Neutrals are nice but I feel fashion is an expression of yourself. If you’re listening to someone else you’re wasting your time and money. Great video 😊.
He is great! And yes, I feel like once you realize this is a fun hobby the rules around neutrals and classics become obsolete. You just get what you love and thats the most important thing

Budgeting is first and foremost for me, too! I am trying to reduce my impulse purchases - I'm not there yet! LOL! Totally agree about holding on to bags for a bit before selling or giving away. I have repurchased bags that I got rid of too soon. Great video!
Omg! The impulse purchases are the hardest. I am a person that cannot stop thinking about it until I get it so that is going to be hard for me too!
I loved this video! I agree about the quilted tabby I bought one because I loved it and was kind of shocked by how hyped it became on the internet. I sometimes get FOMO mainly during sales and good prices but I do believe in being able to pay cash for it before I purchase . Now that I’ve been buying Coach “and above” I find it hard to even consider no name purchases or bags from Target or faux leather/ inferior leathers.

Such a great video and great rules to have in place! I’m much more a strategic buyer than I was as a younger woman! You live and learn! I now create a wishlist, and I plan and budget for my bags! Hopefully I’ll get a bag or two but if I don’t that’s ok as well! Bags can no longer make me crazy! TFS 😊👛👜

I call it when I get distracted from my wishlist by another new release, having a squirrel moment. You stated it so well that keeping your eye on the prize, buying what you want, and not substituting it with another bag is essential. This hobby should be pure joy! And so important to have a great support system and partnership with a significant other.
Yes I love “squirrel moment”- the story of my life lol!!! That’s literally why I have so many bags! I don’t mind but also I want to do better for sure

I think all of us have rules we plan to follow but don’t. And some we wouldn’t ignore no matter how bad we wanted the bag. I also like having rules we would LIKE to follow. Great video!!!! My favorite was the 30 day rule. I think I need that one!!! Think?!? 🤣 I mean I NEED that one. ❤❤
LOL! Ughhh I need to be on that 30 day rule. Lord knows I can never make it that long. I have my last 3 bags planned out for the year so I am going to put that 30 day rule into effect next year 🤣

How do you store your bags that aren't on display?

For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
