It may have been sad to see the old ones go, but this is one of the cases where it was necessary especially given the condition of the old ones and how unsafe they were. The old interior did look nicer tho. Maybe just a mod would have been good enough.
Yeah, I wish they modded the old lifts instead of replacing them. Leave the old interior and just replace the ceiling (with new lighting) and fixtures. The new interior looks a little bit like a freight lift to me.
WOW! New hyundai WBST1! I has been on Bali in 2016, and I visited this hotel. I remember those old Indolifts. Hyundai is amaing brand. I travelled to Korea 8 times and I saw Hyundai factory and test Tower. Not good that elevators here are Chinese Hyundai, but fixtures, indicators are Same. In our city, Vladivostok, there aren't chinese hyundai, only Korean
Yeah, the Chinese made ones are not as good as the Korean made ones. I was quite disappointed when I found out that these are Shanghai made (I looked on the manufacturing plaque on the motors inside the machine room)
