I can't set it for 11.7v cuttoff for my 12v 7ah SLA battery.. it will cutt off at 11.2v max.. can't set above 11.2v

Dear Sir,I used your verious informative projects and all was successful.But on this battery low voltage protection project,it is working upto 9.8 volt.Bellow that I can't operate it even turning the trimmer to minimum level or maximum.I want to use it for a diy audio+powerbank+emergency light project running on a 6 volt battery. I only added an extra 50 volt 1000uf capacitor to stabilise the relay.
What is the fault?

At first,when I started the trial run with the same circuit from your website, then the relay was unstable & a very odd sound was coming.
Then I used the capacitor & it worked from 10-12 volt.But for 6 volt battery it is not working.

Sir zener diode 9v ki kyu use kiye aapki website me likha hua hai ki cut off voltage ke according zener diode use krna hai to is hisaab se to 11.9v me cut off ke liye bhi 11v ya 12v ka zener diode use krna chahiye, and sir mai isko bana kar excat 12v me cut off krwana chahta hu ye ho jayega na jaisa aapne banaya hai same waisa bana kr
Baki ki adjustment varibale ressitor se hoti h esliye hamesha zener diode cut off voltage se kam voltage ka hi use krte hai kyoki adjustment k liye akela zener diode ka role nahi h pura circuit kam krta h ek sath mil k
