Salt Lake City looks nice, beautiful architecture and clean and well organized in the same way as Tokyo and other Japanese cities that World Travel Images visited some years ago.
When the pioneers first laid out the city, they laid it out on a strict grid system with (for the time) insanely wide streets. And everyone at the time was like, "why?" And then the city grew and cars were invented and they had pre-built really wide streets with plenty of room.
I read somewhere that, when they were laying out the plans for the city, Brigham Young said that the streets should be wide enough to turn a horse and wagon around without resorting to profanity.
American cities look like that when everyone's at work, weekends, Christmas, or night time the streets are packed with shoppers, but right now everyone's at work
I am grateful to be back in slc. I would watch this when ever I was missing home. Thankyou
I lived there for 4 years, cleanest city I have ever been to .
@Maria An Clean but not safe. High rape and robbery rates.
Bruh, I've lived there for 10 years.
That shit ain't clean, sometimes but not the cleanest.
@@dbchoobie1924waaaay better than Lose angles.

Thanks for making this, as the city grows I’m happy to know I can return to this to see what changes in the city I’ve always walked.

It really is just like this. A very nice, clean, mellow city. I hope that I can return to it someday to live out the remainder of my life.

Beautiful place was here in 2017.
Salt Lake City, Utah Looks Real Clean - Yes 👍 👍.
Beautiful city One day I would like to visit.
Worth far more than just a one day visit 😀
I was there for ten days it was like a dream
What time of day is this, on a Friday? Is it after 5pm? It looks very quiet.
Friday at 1pm. I did a similar route at 9pm on a Friday. More people but still some dead spots: th-cam.com/video/zJKL3PMObj4/w-d-xo.html
Salt lake is quiet. Also everyone has a car and there is parking everywhere so nobody just walks on the streets.
Where's the best parking spot to see the best parts of downtown SLC please
City Creek Center is free for 2 hours. Most street parking is free on Sundays. There is some free street parking not too far east of downtown too.
A place to grown old 😊
very Clean City
Dream city ❤️💞
SALT LAKE CITY AND MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA, THE TWO BEAUTIFUL CITIES IN THE WORLD.
Also of course I recognize people walking.. small lake city..
Hello I live in Thailand wow so beautiful and this is in my dreams
SLC has the longest blocks and the widest streets in the US.
I read somewhere that, when they were laying out the plans for the city, Brigham Young said that the streets should be wide enough to turn a horse and wagon around without resorting to profanity.
@@meanderingmarley3910 sounds about right.
Feel like Tokyo
Looks so nice! If that were Seattle or Portland you would have seen at least 50 homeless tents but I didn’t see any in this video.
They are there trust me..... homelessness in utah is growing rapidly, these same streets from this video are littered with homeless now a days
Did the authorities get them all moved on from the Rio Grande district or did they all come back?
@@fivetraxso they actually demolished the gateway inn on north temple last year and ever since then they’ve kinda spread out everywhere
what camera are you using?
GX85 with Leica 8-18

It's like ghost town you dont see many people.
