Thank you for this video! I’m going to be driving out in Utah for the first time in a few weeks and I had no idea what to expect. My family all told me it was crazy, and I wasn’t sure if that meant, New York, Providence, Massachusetts kind of crazy.... if I can handle those, I should be able to handle this. It doesn’t look nearly as bad, so I think I’ll be fine.
Oh yeah Utah is perfectly fine in terms of traffic conditions. I believe if you can handle New England, then you will be more than okay here :) Have a nice trip!
Talking from Medellin, Colombia. This wonderful city exist because Joseph Smith was born on earth. Joseph Smith never would imagine because his teaching would exist a exist in the future such a modern city. . When I see those amonunts of hotels is becuase there are many tourists there . Congratulatons people living there .
Do you miss walking to school in the snow or shoveling snow yet? I walked to school in all grades. It was a hoot, there wasn't a snow day unless it was up to the top of the fire hydrants.
@@thething7484 The roads have alot of cracks and Tar filling them in. So if you ever see movies where they are filmed in Utah you can kinda tell or have a good guess. Can't think of any off the top of my head where you see the roads. It may have been "Footloose" when I heard her say something.
I was there on a rather cold Sunday morning, I guess that might be the reason? The night before (Saturday), commercial area was actually pretty lively with many people.
As a former Salt Lake resident (I hope to return in the future), compared with other major US cities, SLC on a Sunday is pretty quiet as most of the local shops are closed. Areas such as Sugarhouse, 9th & 9th, and the University tend to be the lively areas on a Sunday. During the week, the city is pretty hectic however.
No , salt lake is usually packed with traffic , I was surprised so see a lack of cars in this video , lived here my whole life and it's so over crowded.
Salt Lake is normally quiet in the morning on Sundays cause of church usually, also weather conditions play a role in it.. Nothing is usually open except restaurants and the big name stores like Smiths
@@weicitytour lol! Your not the first to say that, ya from 1995-2001 we were the Vancouver Grizzlies, then the new owner lied to us stating that he would keep them in Vancouver, and turned around and re located them to Memphis
This was filmed during the COVID-19 shutdown we had down here, also it was a Sunday so... nothing is open here on Sunday ( I live in Utah) Everyday it's a busy city
Damn, this must be a Sunday, nobody's out 😂 Loved the city. Seen so little of it but instantly fell in love.
Thanks for the beautiful virtual trip, really help during this pandemic as a virtual traveler.
Such a beautiful city
Thank you for cruising my hometown!!! 💖 I haven't been there in a few years.... Alot of changes..!! 👍
@@weicitytour thanks again!! 👌
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly Wei. Love SLC even when it’s overcast. Stay healthy!

Great video 👍👍👍
Wow such a beautiful city! Such a nice overcast setting! Great drive!
Interesting how, though the city is the Mormon's "Vatican", Salt Lake City has one of the most beautiful neo gothic Catholic cathedrals in the US.
Super helpful!
Glad it was helpful!

Man, that looks like peaceful driving versus Austin, tx traffic… which it is a nightmare. I’m looking at moving there some point
Hi Wei - you driving electric? So o o quiet. Thanks for sharing the video!
my parents always said you can tell when filming is in Utah when you look at the roads lol.

@@AKABattousai I just look for what the traffic lights look like. xD
Kidding? Kinda looks like maine imo. Judging by the buildings rows and trees
@@teachandfunnstuff3127 Just making sure, you're just saying it looks like Maine, right? Not saying that it is Maine? lol
City looks calm and deserted.... Cracked roads, repair works almost every street....
It's like playing gta with traffic density set to min
How many miles around Salt Lake City, Utah?
tidy is a good word for it
Nice! I might go soon, looks pretty dead, is it usually this quiet?

Awesome video. Anyone ever drive out and film around Mt Olympus?
What camera your using?
Is this city the biggest city in Utah?
My girlfriend is from SLC , she’s from Rose Park.
If this city has an NBA team, no reason why Vancouver Canada cant have an NBA team again
I did not know Vancouver had a team before. But yeah, I think Seattle also deserves one :)

@@weicitytour ya seattle and vancouver deserve NBA teams. Fantastic rivalries, and two cities that are economically developing at a incredible pace.
Is this city always such empty?
No, this may have been filmed during 2020 shutdowns. The city is normally busy.
@@seemsgood85 it was also on a sunday too, a lot of Utah is closed on sunday lol
Damn I wanna live in Salt Lake City so bad but I can't move there 😫. Awesome video tho. Thank you
