This is a "Wrestling Card Mailbag" video on the CollectAWrestlePalooza channel, featuring the following WWF VHS tapes: Hulk Hogan Real American Hero, Summerslam 89 (featuring Zeus), Hulkamania 6, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania 6, Hulk Hogan's Best Matches, and Hulk Still Rules. Most of the video tapes are Coliseum Home Videos and many of the VCR tapes are sealed. Wrestling VHS tapes are collectible, and I am glad to add these wrestling videos to my WWF VHS collection.
I am a 40-year-old man who recently rediscovered my passion for wrestling, sports cards, collecting, and hobbies in general. During my childhood I collected baseball cards, Hasbro WWF action figures, and Garbage Pail Kids. Now, I have the means to purchase more items for my collection, and a very understanding wife!

I usually buy WWF/WWE on DVD and Blu Ray, but I have bought The Wrestling Classic and The Big Event on VHS because they were never released on DVD or Blu Ray.
It's nice to have a reason to pop a VHS tape into the VCR and to watch it. What's also nice is that it makes me realise that VHS and VCR's are still relevant and not completely obsolete. Sure I could watch them on the WWE Network, but I'm not interested in streaming and they could be censored and edited.

My two favorite wwf tapes from hogan era
1. Life and times of Captain Lou Albano
2. Andre the Giant .
I can tell you Awa and wwf tapes look really good for there age and the wcw ones are ok .
89 was when the movie no holds barred came out I think as Zeus showed on three wwf tapes at the time summer slam , super tape , and survivor series. Legend has hulk was spouse to have match wrestler mania that year sadly that didn’t happen .imagine in alternate earth some hogan vs Zeus was wrestlemania match

There is one wcw tape that focuses just on hulk hogan in Hollywood persona and the NWO of course have there own tape .
I can recommend the two other tapes you might want to get I have a boot leg of it and I enjoyed it the wrestling classic . It’s a great tournament.

I agree. I have started looking at other vintage WWF items like lunch boxes, jackets, mugs, vhs - those all seem fun to collect and seems they will always hold value. The vintage wrestlers new in packages are very expensive. Do you have a video of all your non wrestling card memorabilia?
I collect about 80% - 90% wrestling - there is a 'sports card mailbag' playlist on my page that has a few non wrestling card pickups - but there aren't too many videos there - I am mostly wrestling and non-sports. Thanks again for the support!!

I did some research looks like hulk hogan has two non wwf/ wcw wrestling tapes i saw one hulk hogan highlights which looks to be his Awa stuff . The other is hulk hogan missing matches which i know about this vhs series it’s on TH-cam the first match has who’s ever on the cover then the rest is just random matches from Memphis wrestling. I’ve seen the King Kong bundy and Randy savage tapes of this series I don’t the hulk hogan one would be any different .

You are right, I think there are Rock N Wrestling tapes out there with Hogan. I haven’t gotten into those for some reason.

Hogan is Italian he naturally has chest and back hair but shaves down. In the show Hogan knows Best his ex wife Linda would shave his back in the shower.

Zeus went by tiny lister. Tommy is real name he made a shoot interview. Sounds like you need vhs that let’s take the tape and transfer it to dvd or a flash drive so you’ll be able to watch them when ever want with out stressing the tape
