The right place right time quote is so true. Not just Vinted, it's everywhere, so many people doing it now that anything decent gets snapped up straight away. Love the videos, always learning something. Good luck for 2024.
Love your videos. Have you considered recording your items, packing them and then posting them on line, so everything is ready to go and takes some pressure off. A friend recommended it just trying to help
Thanks! Yeah considered doing this years ago, but never tried it and to be honest I prefer it this way. Means I can do sales update vids easily, and also check back on the item without having to unpack it
Jesus, you're living up to the channel name with those Sidi boots ya Jammy bugger, absolute bargain of the year. Your seller must have had a bang to the head selling them for a fiver 😂
Well done on putting the haters out of your mind James. Unfortunately there are a lot of negative/bitter people out there who need to just get on with their life and not stick their snouts in everyone else's. If they don't like what you do they shouldn't watch!! I appreciate all your helpful hints and tips and as a reseller have not found it has impacted the reseller market having all these reseller vlogs. Trolls are just always going to be there!! Good on you for just getting on with it..😀
Really doesn’t bother me now, if anything, these peoples are only boosting the views with their comments & interaction 😂 I think all these TH-camrs having all these videos out there has only made more of a community for us all. It’s a lonely job, so it’s nice to chat to you all. Glad you’re still getting a bit of knowledge from the vids!
Hi James, great video as always, I've sold on ebay for 15 years and average about 5 parcels a day, whenever I've enquied with a courier about business accounts to get cheaper postage they've just said I don't post enough to qualify so I've just been sending things through evri and taking things to the post office, I've now started using pack link which is saving me money and a friend told me to do my parcel force and my royal mail on line either the app or website, that is loads cheaper. I'm struggling a bit at the moment with posting small low value that are a large letter, I generally put a large letter stamp on these (as long as its below 100 grams)that I buy from a trusted stamp dealer but I'm getting loads of customers saying they've had a note saying not enough postage paid, I think there is a few fake stamps around so I'm not sure if the royal mail think mine are fake, but my my question is how do you send large letter items? Would that be pack link too? Cheers Luke
Sorry for the late reply Luke. I’m afraid I very rarely use Royal Mail, so don’t really know how that works. For ease, as I rarely send smaller items. They just go in with my shoe orders with packlink/Evri (standard parcel) Probably lose out on a bit but I’m not fussed as it’s more of a time saver for me. And I also don’t have a business Evri account or anything. Just a linked eBay/packlink. Thanks 😊
When you spotted the Sidi boots is that because Sidi is on of your last saved searches? One thing that I find restrictive about Vinted is the relatively small number of saved searches that it holds.... that is unless there is another better way to spot items going up?
@@JammyDodgerFlips I’d take 50p a parcel to hold your parcel. I’d be like bring more and more and know your bringing in business no matter how little. Some people hey.
Apart from the eBay tools, do you use any other software to keep track of what you buy and sell on a day to day basis? I'm guessing a spreadsheet of some sorts?
Haters help you out in one way...giving you views and comments which go towards the algorithms. Questionable mind set these negative sad people have. Wishing you all the best
Vinted is the wave atm charity shops too expensive but vinted a bit annoying when something listed as very good and the seller says its in great condition and they come ripped up :(
Yh some people think they can just send anything. I got an old sticker book and asked if the book was complete. She replied yes when I got round to unpacking it it wasn't even 30% full. I had a ps2 in the same parcel and she didn't send the memory card so annoying
Frustrating as hell the returns I sold a cellophane sealed electrical item the guy opened it and then claimed the wiring had perished inside and how it was basically a useless product anyway! Ppl buying without researching does my head in
Love the Pump upthe volume thing in the background. Hope your business Pumps Up too.
Showing your age recognising Mars 😂 ( used to be on in nearly every pub I went in when I started drinking)
Tbh vinted is so additive, I used to play games on my phone in my spare time....now I'm on vinted😂 bought 54 pairs of trainers since Jan 1st.😅
Wow! That’s a decent amount, bet your parcel shops are like mine, always having stacks for you to go and grab!
It’s like Christmas every day 😆
You're right you have the mindset of abundance - there is enough for everyone. Thank you for sharing.
Always enough to go round, people just like a moan 😂
Thanks for watching 😊

Exactly that. You just have to be there when the item is put out or for Vinted sake, uploaded! Thanks 😊
Another great video James. Lots of lovely sales. Your videos are always so informative. Thank you for the tips. Happy New year to you James😺😺😺
Thank you Caroline & to you! All the best for 2024. 😊
I’ll keep the videos coming!

Great sales. Thanks for the helpful postage info
Thank you! & no worries, hope you got a bit from that
Love the Mont Blanc bag, well done!
Thank you! Positive feedback received so think it’s save to say it’ll stay put this time round 😊
Thanks for taking the time out reply James, have a blessed day 😊

It’s hard to explain where they plucked £5 from but I’m definitely glad they did 😂 they said they’d been in the loft a while, so who knows! 🤷🏻♂️
@@JammyDodgerFlips maybe it was the wife selling them for how much her husband had told her they cost

I bought the same type of motorbike boots on vinted for £10 but they cancelled straight after lol
Ahhh this happens to me a lot, always annoying! Some slip through though of course 😊
I went crazy sniping on vinted over Christmas, bought 14 pairs of trainers in one day 😅. Delivery emails have been relentless
14! Wow, nicely done 🙈 think my record is 12! It’s definitely addictive.
@@JammyDodgerFlips for sure you can easily get carried away 😆

Thank you mate. Loving your consistency recently on yours!
When a business takes on EVRI to be a parcel shop for extra income for parcels and then they complain because there getting parcels and parcels. 🙈
Does make me laugh. Think they get something like 50p per parcel. So a good little money maker for them just to be a middle man!

How can i find your items on ebay ? Interested in looking at your ebay items
Thanks, I don’t usually share my shop on here, but easy to find by seeing my solds in the vids

Hey, to be honest all I do is keep a google spreadsheet with all my ins & outs, nothing mad. Did try Quickbooks once but couldn’t get the hang of it.
thanks pal
Suggestion - Why not put one of your plastic storage box numbers eg #20 on the eBay sales listing so that you can quickly locate a sale?
Thanks but no need, I have a good SKU system for quickly picking orders already in place

Turn returns off on eBay?
Unfortunately not that easy with a business account.
@@JammyDodgerFlips personal account all the way, utilise fee promotions and no returns.
Can't do that as a business seller
@@Seansean2323technically illegal but I don’t blame you
It drives me nuts that they call it “return requested” they should rephrase that as well as “send offers to buyers” (watchers) lol
Yeah definitely! Send offers to watchers makes a lot more sense. They hardly ever buy when I send to ‘buyers’
🤣👍👍👍👍
