People may know or may not know the Original Sharktopus from the 2010 movie was a female, When Nicole killed her there was a egg stack flowing down into the water out into the ocean, but the 2014 Sharktopus was cute when Lorena pulled him out of the egg

You know, for the standard that a lot of SyFy movies brought, this movie looks a lot better in comparison, and it came out in 2010! It helps when watching all 3 Sharktopus movies back to back (all free on TH-cam too).
Most of the animations underwater and in the finale resort area looked pretty flawless and lifelike, especially 5:16 and 5:29. I noticed with the 2 sequels that the animations were way stiffer and more obviously keyframed, which made them feel more fake. Even though the models in the sequels were better, animation and lighting can make or break a CGI creature. Unfortunately, the sequels failed at both.
This movie is insane but damn is it fun! Grab a few friends, maybe bring some alcohol, and watch the trilogy (4 hours 30 minutes total) with drunken aspiration!

Honestly i think this is a good syfy movie along with the third film sharktopus vs whalewolf.
for its time and even now, the CGI really wasn't that bad compared to their many other movies

Wow this brings memories I remember when I was little I used to watch these types of cheesy shark movies like Sand Sharks, Avalanche Sharks, 3 headed shark attack, Sharktopus, Sharknado and Super Shark, Ghost Shark, Land Shark and House Shark I was traumatized by them and now currently im 15 years old and im laughing at myself at how much of a pussy I was Revisiting these type of movies.

2010 sharktopus and 2014 sharktopus is different if you think they're the same
Same things
1.) 50% shark 50% octopus 100% deadly
2.) Have octopus tentacle
3.) Brutal
The diffirence is
The 2014 one has longer body than 2010
2010 has spike close to gills
But 2014 has spike on gills
That actually makes sense, there is also more difference from 2010 sharktopus and 2014 sharktopus,
2010 sharktopus is female but 2014 sharktopus is male
The 2014 sharktopus is also presumably smarter than the 2010 sharktopus
