I wasn’t expecting as much from JLo & Cube TBH but for their experience at the time, they didn’t do too badly. But the Anacondas stole the show, literally 😂

They really don't need to be aggressive. They will eat whatever they desire without a fight. They just lurk around, hiding in the vegetation and no creature can defend themselves.
The fact this movie is 1999 and the CGI is better than the anaconda 2 and anaconda 3 is very funny. Only anaconda:the hunt for blood orchid has similar peefect CGI as thisb
And the fact that compared with the other victims being choked to death by the snake, lce cube got choked in one part but survived, w moment (don’t forget about when he was against the leader)
Anaconda hunt for the blood orchid explain that the snakes ate flowers to live for years and that’s how they became big. But they also moved faster but didn’t think it made them become so aggressive to actually eat people. So basically the flower turned them into killing machines
Till this day i still think this Anaconda movie is the best big killer snake movie to ever come out.. and i watched them all even the Python series which i liked when i was a kid and they originally came out, i would put Blood Orchid right behind this movie just because it was a Double A casted movie with a nice budget and decent story line but the snake didn't look realistic at all.. I've been wanting Hollywood to bring back big budget snake films like how every other year they fund a random Shark movie.. but i guess even though a lot of ppl are afraid of snakes its easier to make shark movies or its safer to bet on a shark movie doing well box office wise over a snake one

As an adult this movie is lame, but I still love the effects of the snake coming down at 0:32 … same with Anacondas, movie is stupid but that bird’s eye view shot of the snake going around them in the water 👌🏻
I watch this film when i was kid, i think in 2005 maybe 🤔 I still remember when the snake eaten someone alive in scene from inside the anaconda, its imprinted in my memory.
I remember my parents dragging me to the theaters with them because they wanted to see this film. I was only 7yrs old at the time and it was already past 3pm, and Power Rangers was on at 4:30pm, which was why I didn’t want to go, but my mom wanted to see the movie real bad, and the weekends wasn’t an option. I sorta synced out during the whole film and eventually fell asleep on and off, but years later when Netflix became a thing and I finally rewatched this film again, but before that, there were only 3 things that I remembered about this film. One, Wilson’s death scene when he got eaten, Two, Voight getting spit back out by the Snake, and 3, the two soul survivors(Lopez and Ice Cube) weren’t Caucasian characters(with the exception of Stoltz, but he was out for most of the film), because usually and naturally they are the 1st to get killed off on-screen.

Somehow, this film feels much more like an R-rated film. How it got a PG-13 rating is quite beyond me.
