That one small cul-de-sac that no one moved into could be made into a small community college actually, might fit the theme of the neighborhood to have a few students about
Me playing cities skylines: remember Biffa's advice try not to build a building near a roundabout. Biffa playing cities skylines: builds the game's biggest building on a roundabout.
I absolutely love the videos were you add new areas to the city, they’re always my favourite since it’s just so entertaining for me to watch you build the roads and watch it come to life and grow!
I really really like the music you are using in your Video. It never bores or annyos me. Especially the tune playing around 20:25 was so fitting in the situation. Love it!
Blue Cross Blue Shield is actually my health insurance company here in the US. I’m guessing the skyscraper is like headquarters or something. Love your videos. Spending quarantine re-watching your industries play through.
This episode has reminded me of my last day in LA in November 2019, and seeing the skyline of Downtown LA from the metro train on our way to Santa Monica.
Blue Cross/Blue Shield is an insurance company. The have a huge office building in my town but that building is their corporate headquarters in Chicago.
I like the new little area with low density housing and the lungs of the city park. And I love the day/night cycle being on for the little flyby bits. You should do that more often, though I would suggest slowing it down a touch. Half of the flyby should be day and the other half night or something like that. But we need to see the city at night a lot more often.
That village doesn't look like the most expensive place to live, but it reminds me of my home and has a kind of nostalgic feel to it, Great video, Biffa
I had classes in city planning stating that high rise isnt good for peoples mental health since they find it ugly, guess they should have asked biffa to design their cities!
The great King Leno did the College Park theme and the Pinoa Street building came with the Art Deco creator pack, IIRC. Love the skyline and the way the new neighbourhood uses the lay of the land for some really captivating natural beauty.
4:38 As you say, the new helicopters from "Sunset Harbor" don't use the helipads on buildings. However, the Medical Helicopters from the "Natural Disasters" expansion will use them.
Alright, alright, you got me. Gonna be honest, I was expecting to hear that there was a hidden mechanic for having "a skyline like this" giving a boost to the city. But an overhaul strictly for the aesthetics is cool, too.
I like to create a district on top of a nearby mountain top that serves as a lookout area over the city. The main feature of this lookout is the Cathedral of Wonders which is supported by a cable car system from below and a few low density, organic produce commercials. The area also serves as an entry to a larger Nature Reserve. Obviously a road is required for access and the basic services. With the new SH DLC, a helicopter stop can bring more tourists and residents to the area as well.
That Blue Cross Blue Shield building is cool but it's so big and boxy is blocks that gorgeous Art Deco tower behind it. Great video though, I love this city!
Biffa in last videos: what you guys think a tea related name for our airport? Us after a sip of tea: *give suggestions* Biffa: *never mention who gets it*
You could consider using the "ban highrise"-policy on some of the high density zones in front of the tall skyscraper areas. If you use that policy on high density buildings, it will only build medium tall ones. That'll make a nice build-up from low buildings to medium to tall. Btw, I accidentally turned on subtitles, the words it picks sometimes are quite funny :-)
Yeah, I sometimes turn them on too just for fun and when I see words like 'nigga' I can't stop laughing, like seriously, the subs can be ridiculous sometimes.
14:08 of course they are going over the roundabout ... they are taking the third line. I usually do the lane maths in reverse: Add a fourth lane a couple of nodes before and use that for the exit. Same on the entry, going back to three a few nodes after. Inspired by german motorways.
Just pave over the cul-de-sac the buses use to turn around so it becomes a micro-terminus. There are quite a few around where I live. Buses will stop there to change drivers etc. It makes perfect sense as it's the end of the line, so the driver would pull over to change the destination board. What you have there is perfectly realistic. A small town situated right under a giant bridge and under the arriving flight path to an international airport ... You basically built Runcorn! Actually, that highway bridge would look so much better if you could change it to a big tied arch bridge.
FYI trivia: commercial districts have red/blue tinted lighting depending on their specialization. Looks really cool. You can literally have a Red Light District in your city. :)
If you didn't know, Office Skyscraper from the Japan pack is based off the World Trade Center building in Hamamatsucho, Tokyo. I've been up to the top floor vista once for valentine's day with my ladyfriend last year :D Beautiful view of the entire city and Tokyo Tower. As a long-term American resident of Tokyo, I loooooooove the new pack!!! These buildings remind me so much of my adopted home. If you ever visit Tokyo, Biffa, go check out the WTC Building in Hamamatsucho :D
Loving the series! Would be awesome if you could bridge the gap between the high-rises and low-rises in the city centre a bit more with some mid-rises! :3
Hey Biffa, I love your videos and I hope you and your family stay safe in this horrific pandemic. I would also like to add, to make the airport interchange, a complete interchange, so more people can access it, is you can use another leg of the roundabout and make a road over the river then swing over the highway so that bridge can be made into a complete interchange.
When we were on the tour bus, I was thinking that I would love to live in this cities! Nice job! I love particulary the new district with the "Lungs of the city". Beautiful! 💙 Love also thoses random name for the park and the new districts, "Green square". Fit perfectly! At 12:00 Biffa : " I will create a park where people have to paid to get in" and then put the district and the name generated : "King's grounds " make me laugh so much!!! xD xD xD
Hi Biffa, I love the new area that you made. Just one tip, could you make a footpath from the new area, up the cliff, to the metropolitan airport? That way the people can use that subway as well (and don't need to take a bus). Keep up the good work, and stay safe! 👍
The Blue Cross Blue Shield for sure is referencing a building for the insurance company here in America. The Aspen and the Benefit Financial Group buildings might as well, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
Nothing better than a hot shower, a fresh cup of coffee (or tea) and seeing that Biffa uploaded a video. It's going to be a great 22nd day of quarantine. Thanks Biffa! 🙏🏻🙌🏻🔥💪🏻🍵
Biffa, you silly goose! You still need to install the reverse lines for your helicopters. Most of that population jam up is from people wanting to go the previous stop and taking up a seat the whole way round.
Hey Biffa, there is a beautiful little 4 stop Bust Terminal mod called "Bus Station" by Senfkorn. It's perfect for joining suburbs together. It has a "magnet" for 4 bus routes/stops (or starts) and inlcudes a turn around lane, I usually place a bus only road "loop" around the back to help the flow of the buses. (and use the option in TM:PE to ban vehicles on bus lanes) It also has built in pedestrian pathways so cims will happily transfer from bus line to bus line, without crossing roads etc.
My next suggestions would be to create a "major interest bridge" that connects your city to your failed Islands area... the one where nobody lives.... :)
A riverside bike path for green square would be really nice, it would give more transport options for citizens, encourage less traffic and would be fitting with the name, as cycling is quite green right :)
We call them cul-de-sacs in the US also :) They seem like a good idea until you realize there's no room to park and there's constant noise from unsupervised kids constantly screaming 🤣 Love the vid Biffa!
Iv got to say this is a complete different type of build video. I was expecting a build like your last ones. But the way your using it to build and do fixes is great. Keep it up biffa
I think the question we need to ask about the Uni City bus turning around is whether the sims would be willing to walk from the Lungs Square to the cul-de-sacs at the very "end" of the district. Because if they would, you could just make the bus loop around the Lungs.
All the Sydneysiders lost their minds when the suburb right next to the airport got auto-named Green Square! Well, I know I did. (We have a real-world Green Square that really is right next to the airport.)
If it weren't for your videos, my cities would be horrible messes. Every time I build a new city, or go into an old one, I always ask myself "what would Biffa do?" Of course the complement to this is - driving through the city I actually live in, all I can think is "city planners really should get ahold of Biffa so they can fix all the mess they have made"
That one small cul-de-sac that no one moved into could be made into a small community college actually, might fit the theme of the neighborhood to have a few students about

Biffa playing cities skylines: builds the game's biggest building on a roundabout.
8:10 - "I'm happy how this looks." zooms in on a raging fire. "It looks like a warm and inviting place."
Seriously?
@@95Jezzica Yeah, but it's mostly the inviting part I'm curious about.
@@MrMartinSchou it is very inviting for the Fire Department ;)
Biffa I'd love to see an episode dedicated to rounding off some of the unfinished projects like the posh island bit and the sports village!
Scott Bamford good call.
Biffa, you should’ve added some bookstores to your tall buildings area as they contain the most storeys ;-)
Get out.
I'm suing you! My eyes rolled so far back into my head that I got brain damage. lol
I would like to see a small village built in the far corner of the map, please
yeah something with country buildings and farms would be cool
That tallest building in the city you talked about at 07:00 is part of a Art Deco Creator Content Set...not a workshop asset
Love it!
LOVED seeing the city by night! Would be very cool to see that more often! Just makes the city look like straight out of a movie!
Blue Cross Blue Shield is actually my health insurance company here in the US. I’m guessing the skyscraper is like headquarters or something. Love your videos. Spending quarantine re-watching your industries play through.
Yep, that's Blue Cross Blue Shield building in Chicago.
A small little CommuniTEA where people drink Green Tea. Maybe a Tea Company headquarters in the skyline next?
This episode has reminded me of my last day in LA in November 2019, and seeing the skyline of Downtown LA from the metro train on our way to Santa Monica.
Biffa: how to build an AMAZING skyline in city skylines!
Me:the L3m0n lake
Need Child Care and Elder Care in the new area.
Dude, I would live in Green Square if it was real! A small chill town with a view of the big city skyline, must be nice! Great work :D
the road with all your tall buildings ends in a big roundabout, that is crying out for a statue in the centre of the roundabout
Blue Cross/Blue Shield is an insurance company. The have a huge office building in my town but that building is their corporate headquarters in Chicago.
Ya know at first I was really missing your traffic correcting videos, but your TeaVille city is just so damn awesome. LOVE IT!
8:09 Is that a reference the the fire?
It was centralised on the fire as well so probably... Maybe Biffa forgot to have his tea?
;-)
I like the new little area with low density housing and the lungs of the city park. And I love the day/night cycle being on for the little flyby bits. on 16:32 you can conect the roundaboud to the road next to king grounds
I love these videos so much Biffa. Literally the only reason I open up TH-cam most days is to watch TeaVille being built. Cheers!
That little suburb you built with the King Leno houses makes me think of some of the older suburbs around Birmingham Alabama.
The city is transforming into something better. Great job Biffa
LOVE the first person ride along on the bus! More of those ride along(s) on buses and trains.
I had classes in city planning stating that high rise isnt good for peoples mental health since they find it ugly, guess they should have asked biffa to design their cities!

Look at that awesome sight line at 2:22. I love how the streets aligned there.
Me too!
Nice ending to this episode, coroner van hauling out a corpse. I love those coroner vans in place of the vanilla hearses.
I just came out of dinner, with a coffee mug in my hand, thinking "I'd like some TeaVille to envoy this coffee actually". And here we go.
Nobody:
Biffa: Lane Mathematics
I dying with anticipation for the unveiling of Loftea Airport!!
Thanks for another entertaining video. The Citea is looking great!
Looking absolutely fantastic Biffa. The city really shows the amount of work that you do.
Alright, alright, you got me. Gonna be honest, I was expecting to hear that there was a hidden mechanic for having "a skyline like this" giving a boost to the city. But an overhaul strictly for the aesthetics is cool, too.
I'm still loving the #TeaVille series and look forward to any new episodes you record. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the quality content!!
Im loving the new little community you built!
@22:55 Absolutely Beautiful setup so far bro :-D I love watching it grow :-D
I love playing with the day-night cycle on, because it's so amazing to see the city at night
20:05 Florida license plate on the student driver Ford! Love it.

That's so nice! I'd love to see some bike lanes/walking paths next to the river in that Lungs of the City area! Keep the growth =)
You have been reading my mind this last week. First mods to make it look better now Skyline engineering.
That Blue Cross Blue Shield building is cool but it's so big and boxy is blocks that gorgeous Art Deco tower behind it. Great video though, I love this city!

I used to be a bus driver in Hamburg, that „relaxing“ bus ride made me incredibly nervous. 😅

Love the content Biffa! I’ve managed to watch over 48 hours of your videos in the past few weeks of shutdown. Keep up the great work mate!
😁
keep up the great work biffa just remember to fine detail your parks with fences etc its the fine details that really make your city YOUR city.. :)
Love the new area you've built. Reminds me of a lot of little towns where I live.
But I must say, I miss ur city fixes :D
Starting the easter long weekend right... “sips tea and presses play”
I worked all yesterday so supping my tea when I wake up and press play

I forgot which mod it was to adjust the day/night cycle. Thanks Biff for reminding me what it was!
@16:02 we call them Culdesacs (mind my spelling is atrocious :-P) in Canada too :-D
16:20 interesting word for a *beep*
Such a neat new pack of assets from the Modern Japan and Sunset Harbour DLC.
Biffa: "Bookstores everywhere..." - so watch out for Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks! 😂
FYI trivia: commercial districts have red/blue tinted lighting depending on their specialization. Looks really cool. You can literally have a Red Light District in your city. :)
Very nice skyline Biffa! Good job! Love that joke about the 'warm and nice city' with the fire spreading lol! 😂
😋
>8:05
>city on fire
>warm and welcoming place
Thanks, mr spit take.
Heh, at approx @12:50 you should add in fences to make sure people don't walk in outside paths, and lead them in through the pay ticket windows :-D

You have nice mountains around. It would be super cool to see snow in the city and hills!
Should connect king grounds to the unused road at the airport roundabout
Loving the series! Would be awesome if you could bridge the gap between the high-rises and low-rises in the city centre a bit more with some mid-rises! :3

Learning so much from your vids. Thanks for the bus tour and yes, the skyline does look amazing.
20:00 Florida license plates on the white car... too funny.
@15:11 you should add a double lane upgrade for the input to the output area with a node between for switching on the roundabout :-D
Hi Biffa, I love the new area that you made. Just one tip, could you make a footpath from the new area, up the cliff, to the metropolitan airport? That way the people can use that subway as well (and don't need to take a bus). Keep up the good work, and stay safe! 👍
"It certainly looks a warm and inviting place" just as the camera pans past a wildfire.
Warm? Yes
Inviting? Maybe slightly less so...
😋
Oh snap that white Ford in front of the bus is from Florida USA I recognized the plate lol
Hi biffa hope it's not too hard with your kids in quarantine
Not too bad thanks :-)
The Blue Cross Blue Shield for sure is referencing a building for the insurance company here in America. The Aspen and the Benefit Financial Group buildings might as well, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Great city! Showcases all of the awesome DLCs available!
Nice you hesrd me out in comment. Need that MR Tea Tower and a nice ground level tour through the city would be nice

Love watching these on a 65" 4k TV in 4k. Looks amazing Biffa.
Nice 👍😁
GReat little area Biffa. Definitely loved the skyline from that bus view
20:15 driver's ed car has what looks like license plates from Georgia (the US state not the former part of the USSR).
I bet the cities in the traffic fix episodes will be horrendous after Teaville
My next suggestions would be to create a "major interest bridge" that connects your city to your failed Islands area... the one where nobody lives.... :)
A Zombie Lake Tap house...sounds interesting, hopefully you wont be swamped by the Undead. Love the videos.
I want Biffa to narrate a movie about my life...
A riverside bike path for green square would be really nice, it would give more transport options for citizens, encourage less traffic and would be fitting with the name, as cycling is quite green right :)

This video was mesmerizing. I didn't realize I watched all 25 minutes.
Gotta add some basketball courts and hardcourt soccer pitches underneath the bridges - give it that NYC feel.
👍
Iv got to say this is a complete different type of build video. I was expecting a build like your last ones. But the way your using it to build and do fixes is great. Keep it up biffa
