Now this doesn't necessarily mean that women who go out at midnight wearing hot pants are doing a very sensible and unquestionable thing but the point is, as i mentioned earlier, women in both the scenarios ARE getting raped nevertheless so how does her clothing even matter? But being a girl myself I would also like to shed light on the other side of the story, with an analogy : even though there's police surveillance and awareness that people shouldn't steal and rob , do we not lock our doors at night in precaution as doing our own part in avoiding robbery? Yes we can wish for a society where rape didn't exist, but the fact of the matter is that it does, and we should try to avoid disaster as much as possible.
