@Abcd oof...I didn't even think about that! These auditions seemed to be decently recent (and a lot from foreign countries) I didn't think that a lot of these were the best of "all time"

The black guy who sang Jealous was so into it because he was singing about his best friend who died. He was jealous that his friend was gone and not with him anymore, and that he's up in heaven without him
And the reason why that song affected Simon so much that day is because that week Simon's I think it was his mother passed away so he was grieving for his parent.
I wasn't prepared to see Christina on this list. Man every time I hear her audition I just get reminded of how incredible she was. Goosebumps. Every. Time. RIP angel ❤️
Louisa is my all-time favorite singing show contestant. She actually sang three other songs from this list and she nailed them all while on the x-factor which would be so worth watching!
What I love so much about Joel, is that he always describes his musical thoughts perfectly. It’s always so difficult to put art related stuff into words but he manages to do it on point!
I don’t know why he constantly has to pick out pitchy or flat notes. Like I’d rather listen to a singer with slight imperfections and a lot of emotion and attitude than a singer who just aims to be pitch perfect
Mimi & Josefin - Creep, was surprised when they didn't make an appearance & I've always had a soft spot for Ben Haenow's first audition. Didn't expect him to be there but I dunno, I've watched his 1st performance multiple times.
I got to talk to her once and can only confirm: she was such an incredibly nice person. We need more people like her in the world. Still sad that she's gone.😢
Calum Scott's audition for Dancing on My Own was really good. Frode Vassel from Norway had an amazing audition doing Into The Unknown. Sal Valentinetti's X Factor audition is also another good honorable mention. Then, I have to recommend Travis Cormier for his Dream On audition.
I usually don't have the time to watch these shows much (or tv in general), so it's nice seeing curated compilations from them especially from the perspective of a professional musician & singer.
@@jimenacatalin2317 Very long story short, some people working on the voice (including two coaches and the band leader) are accused of sexually harassing some of the contestants. Seeing Fernando Daniel from the Portuguese 🇵🇹 X factor (#10) right at the beginning of a Roomie video was unexpected and I loved it, Fernando has an amazing voice!! ❤️
I think it would be really cool and interesting to see joel react to the momentarily top ten charts of a specific country. Like the top ten songs of germany in january 2022 and he could choose a different country for every month. Maybe he discovers some new artists on the way, who knows?
Oh, nice, but I guess he would only criticize (almost) everyone, specially the Brazilian ones, specially because his opinions aren't really the most popular, which is kinda sad
I think Christina Grimmie's version of Imogen Heap's Hide and Seek was so impressive for the time (also when she was on the Voice) - I would love to see Joel react to that
Christina's audition is definitely one of my favorites, alongside Susan Boyle (they underestimated her based on her looks) and Celine Tam (powerful voice for a kid).
By far the best singing audition of a casting show for me is the woman in the blind auditions of The Voice South Africa performs the "Click Song". She sings and clicks with her tongue more than perfect. She's so much better than the number one from this list.
I'm very biased because I used to follow X Factor Australia live years ago, and when I heard Bella's audition (nr. 1 on this list) for the first time I legit got goosebumps. So yeah, she's still my fav audition from this list.
Definetly my favorit too! Even with the short clip in this video i felt like I was on a ride the whole time, nothing made me think any other thought than "Damn thats beautiful, but can my eyes stop leaking please"
I was so excited to see Bella here, I have wanted roomie to listen to that performance since I started watching roomie videos, he didn’t say much about it but still cool.
It’s really cool to see Louisa Johnson on this list because my uncle was her manager when she was going through the xfactor stages and she was such a hood vocalist so it’s just nice to see her appreciated years later

Joel you should definitely check out or react to the Australian Voice season from 2021. The immense skill among all the contestants was outstanding! I think you’d really enjoy it and I wonder if you’d agree for who got through each round, won, etc. I’m glad your back to making these videos, thanks Roomie ❤️
I think two of my favorite auditions are Mimi & Josefin singing Creep from The Voice Kids Germany and Marina d'Amico singing Papaoutai from The Voice France. I couldn't really get into Stromae's music until I heard Marina's audition.
Yes, this is something I find so stupidly adorable. He is more literate in English than a lot of native speakers, but I find little flukes like “pro-NOUN-ciation” and “reggistry” precious. 😊
Another "jealous" audition I really like and recommend all the time is Jérémie Makiese's from The Voice Belgium (he won that same year). He just sounds amazing, nails some pretty low notes yet I don't see him mentioned a lot.
I think many of these compilations are based on the most emotionally moving performances rather than technical capability, but these singers were still incredible
Dude, I just have to add, the editing on your videos are great! I love alll the little additions here and there, so funny! Really adds to the overall experience. Appreciate it :)
4:38 For people who don't know, #6, Josh Daniels, feels so emotional because he was singing the song for his best friend who he lost at 18. He said he interprets the lyrics as being jealous that his friend moved on to heaven and that Josh can't still be with him.
One of my favorite singing auditions on a talent show is 4th impact(4th power at the time, but changed their name in time for the live shows). Their version of Bang Bang is just SO good! 🙂
@@hanahahmad Christina Grimmie. She was #3 in this video. But she was a famous TH-camr that was also on The Voice and she was tragically shot and killed at a meet and greet she was hosting at a concert in Florida
I auditioned for a singing competition once. It was called the RoomieOfficial singing competition, and I didn't make it. I'm starting to realize how many times I've embarrassed myself in front of Joel.
I've found these videos include artists / shows from different countries - so as a small side note, do remember a LOT of these guys are singing in English as a second language. That's why the judges / crowd are sometimes so in awe. Singing in one language is hard enough, singing and nailing the feel / tone in a second one, is kinda ridiculous. EDIT - also, for The Voice, it's sort of a good thing to turn as soon as you can / beat the other judges to it so the contestant chooses you as their mentor (i.e. the whole "this judge saw my qualities first, I must choose them!") so they do often call it a little early.
Not so fun fact about 5:06. Simon's mum died very shortly before this audition (I think only a few days before). Obviously the lyrics can be interpreted to be about death which is why Simon and Cheryl were so upset.
Pausing this as soon as Bella Ferraro ( #1 in the compilation ) started singing! I remember watching her every week on X Factor, and that audition truly was something amazing. I still get emotional whenever I listen to Christina's songs. She was so talented and looked like a really nice person. I followed her on TH-cam back from when she did a cover with Alex Goot. I miss her beautiful voice and soul 😩💔
Jordans performance on the voice usa of chandelier is AMAZING for sure, but I enjoy a few other auditions from that version of the show more. Specifically the ones from Chris blue and Alison porter, their auditions are absolutely mindblowing
Btw, there was an audition in the voice France last year, the girl sang Unintended by Muse, it was awesome. Sorry i don't remember her name my apologies. Good afternoon y'all 😘
The way you are detailed that's what makes your opinions so interesting to hear! But let me say that its also the way you recognize the technical details, aligned with the emotional feeling, of which you are aware , that makes your opinions and videos so appealing! Thanks for your work and dedication to music ! At least for me, shall i say
I was not expecting to see Bella at the end!! I remember the day the episode aired where my family watched her audition, I was 6 years old!! Now I'm 17 😭 such a throwback, she was soo good!
i also suggest Toy by Oxa (the Voice Germany), and The Scientist by Gabriella Laberge (the Voice France). the first one is so unique and captivating, and the second one is just angelic
There is in the Netherlands now a really big deal with the voice because there were some weird things happening behind the scenes with some girls and children. There were two coaches and i think the band leader did some wrong things.
there are so many the voice/singing in general compilations about all kinds of stuff, I would love to see more reactions to them! Your comments and thoughts as a singer/youtuber are always nice, keep it up
Many times I heard foreigners trying to sing this song: Czesław Niemen - Dziwny jest ten świat. They sang it really well. Unfortunately, the pronunciation in most cases, was poor. I highly recommend it, it has a timeless message. ( The original recording always sounds the best in my opinion) I've been watching your channel for maybe a month. This is my favorite way to waste time.
None of these were top 10, as someone who spends most of their time watching singing auditions on TH-cam I can name sooo many auditions better than these. These weren't bad at all, but as Joel said, there are sooooo many good ones out there.
Genuinely thought Susan Boyle would of been on this list as she didn't just shock the judges but the whole world with her audition. An I don't even watch reality TV can't stand it but know who she is.
11:37 I think this show is if you get down to zero, you get liked kicked out I guess, so if they like it, they keep on pressing it to add more points so he can stay in.

you might not know but the voice of holland got canceled a couple days ago because of allegations against some of the judges.
Serious allegations as well
What allegations?
@@michaelpaulnonales9240 Sexual assault, rape, sexual harassment, etc… If you want to know everything, watch the last episode of BOOS about The Voice alligations on TH-cam with english subtitles. It explains everything.
I still get emotional whenever I listen to Christina's songs. She was so talented and looked like a really nice person. I followed her on TH-cam back from when she did a cover with Alex Goot. I miss her beautiful voice and soul 😩💔
Fun fact… the voice of Holland Has been cancelled becouse Some workers There did things to others that They didnt wanted
Marco and Ali did had a fun time tho..
Not really a fun fact when you even know a tiny bit about the accusations, don't ya think?
@@Iyashikei-t4u but what they do?
Oh yeah I watched the docu!! It had english subs
@@xshavox not sure if you can actually say it in the comments lol. Just check “boos - this is the voice”. That’s the docu they mentioned earlier
I’m so glad he’s back!
Só happy that you got to hear Fernando Daniel!!! He is one of the best Portuguese artists right now 🥰🥰🥰🤗🤗🤗
You should react to “the best blind auditions of the voice of Germany season 10” such a banger!
Roomie, you should react to Daniel Fernando's journey on the Voice. He's so great!
Love the daily videos roomie! Thanks alot. we appreciate it so much!
I was not expecting to see Bella at the end!! I remember the day the episode aired where my family watched her audition, I was 6 years old!! Now I'm 17 😭 such a throwback, she was soo good!
Fernando Daniel's audition is top tier. Really love his version of When We Were Young
I think it's only in the top ten because he's portuguese and our great singers are mostly average in a world scale.
Have you heard of Mimi and Josefine Vogler from the voice of Germany?
Would love for you to see you react to them!
i also suggest Toy by Oxa (the Voice Germany), and The Scientist by Gabriella Laberge (the Voice France). the first one is so unique and captivating, and the second one is just angelic
There is a duo on the Voice Kids Germany, their Names are Mimi and Josy.. and their Version of Creep is just sooooo good!
The 1st singer is already really big in his country and even a judge in the voice Hahah
It would be cool if Joel reacted to individual bands/singers for each video like ones that he doesn’t usually listen to
They’re okay, but a little pitchy…
Greg
Lil' Pitchy
I have auditions for the school musical this week and I'm really nervous. wish me luck :)
Still not over Christina's loss. SO talented, gone way too soon
What happened???
Oh god now this comment section will turn into a rip section ughhh

Yass Harry ILY 💚😭✌️
( The original recording always sounds the best in my opinion)
I've been watching your channel for maybe a month. This is my favorite way to waste time.
It's good to mention the song was greatly inspired by a song that was included in this video - It's a Man's Man's Man's World by James Brown (3:26)
@@dager8519 I can see it now. Funny that I only just now realized that.
Glad to have you here! Hope you stay for a long time. Joel is very funny and informative
his videos are so addictive. .
None of these were top 10, as someone who spends most of their time watching singing auditions on TH-cam I can name sooo many auditions better than these. These weren't bad at all, but as Joel said, there are sooooo many good ones out there.
This video is 7 mins old how did you watch them all already
Genuinely thought Susan Boyle would of been on this list as she didn't just shock the judges but the whole world with her audition. An I don't even watch reality TV can't stand it but know who she is.
make your top ten

I think this show is if you get down to zero, you get liked kicked out I guess, so if they like it, they keep on pressing it to add more points so he can stay in.
Even with daily videos I still want more. its just so fun to watch
Elvis Blue from South African Idols. His voice is incredible and literally had one of the judges in tears.
