You can see his expression showing him learn the word “bitch” during that scene which is such a fun touch. He clearly processes the insult and stores it.
Came to mention this because in the video review the guy says Andy never learns this in the movie. But he does and I thought it was a good set up for the line.
Yeah, that part was actually quite smart, if the critics of it actually took some time to think about it they should’ve appreciated how clever it truly was….I’ll be back you bitch!!!
Andy and Rain’s bond was very wholesome. I’m more of a Predator guy but I’m glad I took my dad to see this. He used to take me to horror films back in the day and now I get to return the favor. The cinematography, music, and suspense was very gripping. That gravity joke was too good and kicked off a great scene!
I’ve never seen the Alien movies, but I gotta say… it was pretty rad. Andy’s actor especially was a highlight, seeing his change in demeanor was great, fantastic actor I must say.
I felt like if they had the baby say: Mmma....mmahhh....(momma) In an almost unintelligible way when babies start to form words.... It would be been creepier.
I also thought this movie was a slam dunk. Loved it! But there’s just no pleasing some people. I feel like some people just hate for the sake of hating.
There are a lot of people nowadays that just hate on sequels for the sake of hating sequels they do nothing but also compare to the original or previous movies within said franchise. I have no idea what they were expecting but if you’ve been following this movie or watching trailers and description there’s no way you should be walking out the theater completely disappointed unless you just don’t have any media literacy especially when it comes to this genre and series. The movie was amazing I can agree with it being an 7/10 movie for some or a 6/10 at the very least but lower than that is a complete disservice to the movie and you probably have other underlying issues about the movie. This movie was a 8.5/10 movie for me
@@FrostSpirit617dude, everyone on Facebook groups have been downright downplaying this movie man. Calling it the blandest Alien movie and such. I thought it was good but relied heavily on nostalgia bait and the plot isn’t very interesting
That’s definitely a problem I have with the film. I was hoping they’d show more personality with the xenomorphs but they were again shown as disposable bugs in this film like in Aliens 😢
Since this is a spoiler video, did anyone else notice that creature at the end was still changing? Its tail was growing as it was feeding. I didn’t notice that until the second viewing.
Yeah we saw the xenomorph in a cocoon, growing from the chest burster stage, so I'm guessing the new born may have had a similar stage where it changed to a fully grown version. Chest bursters are white like the new born was, so maybe it could have turned black if it was fully developed.
So no one picked this up yet, being too distracted in their annoyance, but after my second viewing and listening for connections, I believe the main reason why (besides the fan service levity/nod) Andy is weird about delivering “the line” from Ripley Queen battle in Aliens is because 1) yes he doesn’t know the word and how to use it and 2) Bjorn TWICE in the movie uses the word DIRECTLY to Andy who 3) both times the camera focuses on his face showing he doesn’t understand the word but is learning it. So this is the reason, in story, why Andy uses it, following Bjorn’s delivery - and it just happens to be a nod. But that helped make more sense of it and not feel weird about it.
I think people are calling out the fact that in this timeline Aliens has not happened yet. So for him to say that line of dialogue was kind of jarring because Andy has never even meet Ripley for him to parrot that quote that in this timeline she says decades after this film
@@michaelbryant5833that's kinda stupid. That's like saying no one can ever say a line that someone has ever said before. Like no one in human history ever said I have a bad feeling about this before Star wars
One thing I noticed that bugged me in aliens, Ripley, Hick, and Hudson struggle to get one face hugger off of Ripley, but in this movie, the characters seem to be as strong as the face huggers. It did add suspension but it did seem like they played down their strength
@@jayspencer4033 oh that scene I just thought the thing didn't get its legs around his head before his hand blocked it? It's strength is in the legs and it first needs to get the slimy tentacle in your mouth
It was Vasque and not Hudson. There were 3 of them preventing the Facehugger from latching. The facehugger was incredibly strong as ripley was already grasping for air and the muscles in both Hick and Vas was bulking out (showing that they are using literally 100% of the strength). Hudson on the other hand deal with the 2nd facehugger by stepping on the trolley after Newt back off and killed it with his pulse rifle. It took Hick and Vasque to flung the facehugger out enough to kill it with pulse rifle. Yes based on this scene, it concluded that single human isnt strong enough to prevent facehugger from latching on. Romulus should haven taken that note, unless the Facehugger was sick and not performing well due to some drug administered on them.
Sometimes, a simpler, smaller scale story is all you need. I think it worked for what it did, and it didn't need to be prometheus level or Covenant level of complicated. It also doesn't need to be Alien or Aliens quality level of quality. It's good as it's own thing, kinda like Rogue One.
But Rogue One wqs something that contributed to the story of Star Wars. The rebellion and the attempt to destroy the death star. This movie adds nothing to the lore of the franchise.
@GeekZone210 This movie paid homage to everything that came before and even the video games. I encourage you to look into that more or give it another watch.
I think the smaller scale is good. Though they should switch things up each time. Like this time you have a small scale movie, then a bigger one, then back to small again. That way it doesn't get stale.
Reverse engineering an engineer from xenomorph DNA was not what I was expecting. And I loved it. Perfectly felt like the originals while taking the concepts from prometheus and covenant to a level I wanted from those movies and never got. Loved it
Xenomorph dna is acid lol. Nothing in romulus makes sense. Facehuggers made from the big chap? Black goo from face huggers? This is the force awakens of the Alien franchise. Aesthetics over logic.
That wasn't an engineer at all. It was what happened when her human baby was infected with the Alien DNA. It was a human and a xenomorph crossed, not an engineer.
@@Fiorwestcoast xenomorph BLOOD is acid, NOT ITS DNA, this has been pre-established. That isn't even how dna fucking works (if its dna was just acid, than the xenomorphs wouldn't even exist, as while dna is seen to be made of acidic components, it always needs non acidic components to prevent it from destabilization). Even in this series, as the movies clearly establish the xenomorphs dna is the basis for the whole species (including subspecies and variants) and it bonds & mixes with the dna of it's facehugger's host. Also the black goo wasn't taken from the facehuggers directly, it was created using the facehugger's dna and a variety of other elements, which made it into a pathogen (im not even sure if it's the same black goo). Also you forget that in Alien directors cut and in Aliens, the xenos are shown to cocoon certain victims into facehugger eggs.
You do need suspension of disbelief for a horror movie, but it does have to follow a consistent logic, otherwise it seems really poorly written and random. The first two movies had the same creatures, but everything that happened seemed to happen for a reason. Besides, there is already a lot of established lore surrounding the xenomorphs, so to change it now makes the movie feel like it's just pulling stuff out of its ass.
9.5/10 in terms of technical achievements. look, feel, sound design, sets, practical effects, even the cgi. The .5 point is redacted for Ash’s AI face. Everything else was absolutely stunning. 7/10 for story, pacing and characters. This movie was not bad, but not amazing. Just solid. First 40 minutes were a little slow got to admit. Overall: 8.5/10 IMO. Rotten tomatoes seems to agree right under 85%
Funny, I think the pacing was too fast. I wouldve loved to see more about the life of the characters in the colony and get them more fleshed out before they get killed.
@@asnierkishcowboy while I personally enjoyed the pacing of Romulus..its definitely faster compared to the first Alien movie..that being said, I still cared more for these characters than I did with Covenants crew
@@UNSTABLE111 Yeah the crew of the covenant was is hard to even remember. I only remember the main girl character and David. I saw the movie about 4 or 5 times (once 7 years ago on the big screen and then through streamers). lol, thats bad.
I don’t get why having Ash was such a make or break for people. This movie takes place just 20 years after the first movie. Chronologically Ash was the closest model available as bishop wasn’t there for another 30 years
It's not that big of a deal and I understand why they did it. It reminds me of that moment of dialog where Bishop is explaining to Ripley why that particular model 'was always a bit twitchy'. The effect really wasn't that good when it was first revealed, but somehow it started to look a little better the more they showed him. They also seem to be overreacting about those few lines that were recycled. Sure, they weren't necessary, but they didn't destroy the movie. They're just complaining because they want attention. 😂They think it makes them appear smarter than the others who enjoyed it. They're nitpicking the movie and it's pretty obvious. Jumping on that bandwagon.
It's because the effect looked awful. If it had looked good I wouldn't have minded. But it looked jarringly terrible when just about every other set and effects looked good.
@@JoseMunoz-vs4tr It wasn't that bad to break the movie. I've seen worse effects in movies that I still love. I think people get a little too hung up on these things. Anyone remember all the charmingly bad effects we had in the 80s fantasy and sci fi? People are so spoiled these days. It wasn't even a major device they lingered on for long.
If it was a human character that looked noticeably bad I would understand, but we are talking about people complaining about how fake a fake human character looked and that’s where I’m confused at why do we care that he doesn’t look real when he was never meant to be.
@@brandonholley413 I think it was a budget thing. I've seen some deepfake type stuff in entertainment that I almost believed. The way they did Luke in Book of Boba Fett my jaw hit the floor. The only thing that looked a bit wonky to me was the way the mouth moved. It's a shame they didn't spend a bit more time on the initial shots of Ashe/Rook. I'm still totally ok with it. I like that it was the same production model from the original Alien. An evil corporate programmed machine with a job to do. No problem there. Gimme more. Gimme more black goo and weird ass hybrid births too. 😂That ending was so sick .. it was bonkers. Yeah, we know.. Alien Resurrection .. but in Romulus the execution was so much better and not silly stupid like all that mother love junk. The design of the 'Offspring' was so much better too. That thing in Resurrection looked dumb.
Isabela Merced/Kay EASILY cemented her spot on worst character fates ever in a horror movie 💯 girl didn't even catch a break... literally like all her scenes are just pure nightmare and suffering 😭💔
Same; I have a crazy theory that she is still alive and has a slow healing factor ability. We still don’t know the full effect of the black goo and the company would love to capture her and experiment on her; like what they did to Ripley in Alien Resurrection.
Loved the movie. It’s definitely a celebration of all things Alien and even Prometheus. I do hope we continue Rain and Andy’s story. There’s a lot they can do with these characters. Cailee Spaeny and David Jonsson have great chemistry and they are definitely stand outs. I think making this its own trilogy would work if this one proves successful.
Andy is the best Synthetic since Bishop. Love that it respected face huggers and their importance to the Xenomorph hierarchy. My only gripe with the movie is that I wish it had a little bigger cast to see more kills. Yes Alien Romulus is a cover song but it's a good cover song! Now Ridley and Fede bring on Alien vs Blade Runner! It's clear that Synthetics are the best defense against the Xenomorphs or evos. A combination of a human & synthetic military group to fight an earth out break would be dope!
I thought it was fantastic and exactly what they franchise needed. The first 45 minutes were so tense and it built to an adrenaline rush very well. The climax was very tense and shocking but not too overtop, albeit a bit predictable.
It wasn’t trash, but that ending was terrible. A lot of fans hate everything about Prometheus, the ending felt like Ridley Scott just threw a tantrum and wanted his prometheus storyline included. That and the “get away from her you bitch” line, ruined the 3rd act.
It was trash tbh and I am a fan. The ending was really lame. Xeno’s were just standing barely. The scorned even picked up Rain and just looked her. The dodgy cgi here and there
*SPOILER* the scene of the first chest burst that leads into the ship flying like crazy and crashing was SOOOOO well done and cinematographer was unreal
Andy does learn about the word "bitch" earlier in the movie, and he even looked confused when he heard it. I think some people just found it to be funny and probably didn't even notice it was a callback lol
Hated the excessive callbacks that Ridley put in, like another hybrid xeno, but it looks like an Engineer. The Engineers were organic, not a flight suit😂
Yeah this has to be a Disney thing right? I mean alien 3 and even resurrection were gorier than this. Surprised me I thought it was going to be gruesome
Favorite parts were the Alien emerging from the cacoon while the girl was trying to open the door, the anti-gravity/alien blood/elevator scene, and i actually liked the very end. That monster was creepy asf.
it was a great film but some of the plot armour ruined the immersion for me, like when Rain is falling to her death and an alien decides to save her with its tail rather than impaling her like everyone else. still a very fun watch though
She just wiped out like a dozen or more aliens, it’s usually a 50/50 on if a Alien offs you or prepares you for a facehugger. I think the alien knew they needed her alive to replenish the hive. That’s why it didn’t attack her; the facehugger was seconds away from getting her. Then the Alien could’ve just dragged her back into the nest.
@@user-il9ze9py8c It’s a movie bud, don’t take it so seriously. 🤣 Ripley should’ve lost her arm and died at the end of Aliens when she made the queen fall into space.
@@JohnWick-kb5jr It is just a movie. A 7/10 okay movie with poorly thought out moments that take away from it's overall quality. Why are you even in the chat of a movie review if you don't want to analyze or discuss it?
@@user-il9ze9py8c I’ve already discussed it with others in other comments/videos and even my friend I saw the movie with. You have an issue with realism in a sci-fi movie, I get it. If I didn’t want to discuss it, I wouldn’t have responded to you. ✌🏻
I thought Andy learned the word bitch from Nevarro after Nevarro called him a bitch when he was antagonizing Andy.....no? Because it looked like Andy took a real exception to being called that.
"We need you to come with us because your android is the sole means of getting the cryopods we need to leave this planet we are desperate to leave, but trapped on" -tazes android for fun.
My brother said walking out of the theater… “That felt like watching Force Awakens but there was some actual originality to it” Sidenote I really enjoyed Prometheus I just didn’t like Covenant at all thought it was super disappointing. Not the worst thing ever (definitely not bad like Resurrection or one of the worst movies ever made like AVP Requiem).
I'd say Alien Covenant felt like the Force Awakens of the Alien saga, just feeling very uninspired, derivative, obligatory and by-the-numbers because Scott clearly didn't want to do Xenomorph stuff but the fans wanted it. Romulus HAS fanservice but people love the ORIGINAL things it does, and one can argue that at least it executed some stuff inspired by past films like Resurrection better, mainly knowing what tone to pick and sticking with it.
@@DeepEye1994tbh I felt like Romulus was the ultimate force awakens call back - the shameless references and the regurgitating of plot points. Started off well but became a theme park ride eventually
I wont lie....i actually enjoyed Resurrection and AVP requiem, they arent great movies but I did find fun in them..Alien Romulus absolutely stomps those films though
Loved this film, I’m also a huge fan of alien isolation, so seeing the set designs and certain things 1 to 1 ripped from the game literally had me smiling, also happy they made connections to Prometheus and Covenant, they basically extracted the black goo from the aliens, and said it had like a 70% or 60% similar to human genome, which I took as a nod to David creating the alien from Shaws body, which explains why so similar to human DNA
i loved this movie, i saw it in imax and the opening scene when we got the same credits from the first alien film made me so happy and seeing the tech look like from that movie as well, i had a few jumb scares and seeing the return of ash it did take me out alittle but since it was obviously cgi but i got use to it and that ending it was crazy and kinda weird but i dig it. my favorite character was andy, he may be the best robot they have done in the franchise. i also did enjoy the characters cause i was worried i wouldnt give a crap. i give the movie a solid 9/10
First predator and now alien seem to have realized how bad the current continuity is so they are just gonna make sequels bouncing around time fleshing out the world of the series. Honestly I think that's a smart idea and hope to see what they do in the future
I think it's because both of the movies have been helmed by a director and writer with passion and respect for each franchise. Same goes to Wes Ball in Kingdom of planet of the apes
I actually liked the 3rd act a lot and loved that hybrid design. It actually managed to creep me tf out and I actually want to see more of hybrids like those.
The moment I saw the black goo returning, I went completely crazy. I felt genuine joy when Merced injected herself with it, and boy did the goo not disappoint : the new hybrid genuinely creeped me out like no other creatures in the saga. It’s like the perfect combination between a Xenomorph and an Engineer.
I see more praise then hate. It's not woke at all and I can't stand the woke stuff. Good movie. The hate is from people that thinks it's cool to be toxic on everything.
Never watched any of the Prometheus films so when the hybrid zenomorph face was revealed my first thought was... is that what the baby daddy looked like? 😂😂😂

Just got back from watching. Really enjoyed it. Fantastic directing and sound design. Last part was amazing! The only criticism that I have is that I don’t feel that the lead actress was that strong. When it came time for her to be the kick ass girl boss, I just wasn’t feeling it because I never got a chance to know her. So I’m glad that they kept Andy as the co-lead cause he was a much stronger character.
the movie was great but can definitely be a slow burn for those who are new to the aliens series. My only gripe was that there wasn’t as much violence as i was expecting. solid 7.5/ 10
Only thing I don't want are Human-Xeno hybrids. I'm fine with Neomorphs and whatever. There probably should be more than one monster. But Xenomorphs should be the Apex. Like maybe the reason the Neomorphs aren't the perfect specimen is they have bad allergies or age too fast. You can still have them, but not have a bigger bad than the Queens.
wait wait wait sorta big big correction... 6:26, Bjorn is Kay's and Tyler's cousin, as stated by Tyler when he was apologisin to Rain. So the protectiveness Bjorn gives to Kay is just strong familial bonds.... unless its stronger than that then offhhf fck me.
Loved the movie as a die hard Alien fan the CGI of Ian Holm wasn't as bad as people made it out to be it was better than Peter Cushing's CGI in Rogue One i loved the practical effects & the return of the pulse rifle David Jonsson killed it as Andy it's the 3rd best in the Alien franchise
The Bjorn "sum in in da far in wo er" character wasn't as annoying as I thought he would be. For me, his redemption was when he told Kay to stay away instead of "help me"... This was an awesome addition to the franchise... I am so happy there wasn't any stupid and annoying characters (in Prometheus and Covenant) doing really stupid things.
@@MrVonzine its still..not as stupid as those two scientists in prometheus...bjorn is staring out of shock and paralysis..those dimwits played with an obviously hostile creature and puts the whole "scientists are always fascinated" stereotype to a tee
Never understood the hate for Prometheus either i actually quite like that movie. It was something completely different, tho covent i didn’t completely gel with.
I think the issue with paying so much homage, and having elements of the film be a love letter to the series, is that it fails to bring anything new to the table really. Except for Homo Xenomorphus from the last quarter of the film, everything felt familiar, idk maybe this genre is too saturated. It’s not about “not being able to love the film”, as you put it, but for me all the homage is just nostalgia bait and leans on the director’s predecessors to do most of the creative lifting
Great Review! BUT… I wanna clear this up before people misunderstand this character relationship at 6:25-6:30. Bjor is not the father of Kay’s baby. That’s his baby cousin- gross man. Remember, his cousin is Tyler (Kay’s brother). He’s being protective of her for that reason that she is his family. Pair that with the fact that he just loss his girl (Navarro) to the chestburster; I’m sure he didn’t want to lose anyone else.
@@alejandroperez-yy9ym I’m pretty sure he’s not. I’ll be watching it again later this week, so I’ll definitely pay attention on that scene and come back to this! If it is, it does seem pretty Sweet Home Alabama lol
This is correct, they are cousins although it doesn't really make sense that Tyler and Kay are brother/sister with different accents and ethnicities lol
@@razirec well, there is contrary to that statement. As a teacher, I do see instances at times where you will have kiddos who come from broken homes, grew up separately (often with different accents/dialects) then eventually come together. As for ethnicity, one could infer they are just from different fathers/mothers. OR same parents, but with maybe some dying at different times. In this case, it is possible the more British sounding parent may have passed away first from the mines- leaving the Americanized English parent remaining. That would influence the accent that child would have.
The AI Ian Holmes was the most horrifying thing I saw in that whole movie. I loved the beginning. The practical effects and aesthetic were perfect. I felt like it became more computer generated by the end.
Bruh! I enjoyed myself with this film! The cinematography and sound design were 🤌🏿. Saw it in IMAX and was impressed with the action pieces. I like the idea of people not really needing to know anything about the original films. I did like the fact that it was able to pay homage to the others, though. Obviously, others are just as entitled to their opinions, I'm cool with that too. Keep up the great job, my guy! #GeeSawThat 🤘🏿😁👍🏿
Dude that offspring thing terrified me. And I do NOT normally get scared of any type of horror film. I was so dissapointed tho because the audience I watched it with had almost no reaction :/

This honestly feels like the " predators " of the frachise where they do callback after callback and refrence after refrence without doingn anyything really new , either way , Romulus still is a really good movie.
Interesting, because I thought there was a ton of new. Acid in zero G, brilliant. A patient Xeno before ultimately snagging Kay, brilliant. Multiple cocoon scenes which are completely new bio, brilliant. A hoard of huggers and a clarification of how they hunt, brilliant. A hugger being removed, brilliant. A Xeno catches Rain to put a hugger on her, brilliant. The list goes on.
My perspective on Rook is because the scene in "Aliens" where the bishop tells Ripley that he is a newer model and that the older models were known to be glitchy. So, timeline-wise, it makes sense that they might have started replacing the androids afterward. Making Rook the last older model before Bishop. Michael Fassbender would have been amazing, but I think sticking with the classic character and that fact they obtained permission from the family really added a nice element to the film.
The criticism of the re-use of the "get away from her" line is quite silly as Andy does in fact learn that word from Bjorn. This movie definitely has it's issues but this is not one of them.
The movie starts as a 9/10, but slowly starts going down, with the cheap fan service, the recycling of elements from old movies, and the end finished as a 5/10 for me, so overall 7/10. But it feels like a missed oportunity.
There’s a comic, where the corp make an android that looks identical to a xenomorph and it blends in with the others and helps the crew just like any other android but looks exactly like a xeno lmao
I love how you sum this movie up. It's a celebration of our love for the Alien franchise. I understood what this film is, and it's what Fede and the cast had been saying. 🤟
I can see them using the goo on other species. Dogs, fish, bats, etc could be fun hybrids to work with. Also the David vs Andy heck yes! Both top tier characters going at it!
anyone complaining about the use of sir ian holmes is completely brain dead they used his likeness BECAUSE HE JUST RECENTLY DIED and now his legacy is resurrected for this film and continues on, he’s an important part of the alien universe and this was very cool for them to do, there will be plenty more movies where they can do whatever they want if lance dies and they bring back bishop to honor him are you gonna cry about that too how daft to not understand this
Sorry but the effect of him was so bad it would have been better without it. A 2d image super imposed on a 3d surface. Oh not to forget his disk was removed to upgrade Andy so how does that work?

The movie was amazing I can agree with it being an 7/10 movie for some or a 6/10 at the very least but lower than that is a complete disservice to the movie and you probably have other underlying issues about the movie. This movie was a 8.5/10 movie for me
Idk what you’re talking about man. I’ve heard mostly positive. Only negative I’ve heard was the ending.
@@FrostSpirit617dude, everyone on Facebook groups have been downright downplaying this movie man. Calling it the blandest Alien movie and such.

Yeah I assume since it was only just born it still was rapidly aging like most xenomorphs
I did, it started out with a small tail stump and extended to a full sized tail similar to other xenomorphs, wonder what a fully grown one looks like
Yeah we saw the xenomorph in a cocoon, growing from the chest burster stage, so I'm guessing the new born may have had a similar stage where it changed to a fully grown version. Chest bursters are white like the new born was, so maybe it could have turned black if it was fully developed.
Kept telling myself that…didn’t help me hate it any less. Thought the design was lame as hell
@@onetuffspartan1981maybe you should help them improve the design lol

Right. I thought this was odd myself.
I mean there were two people lifting it and they had frozen it so it was weaker
@@lightdarksoul2097 true but I meant in the cryo chamber the scene prior to that when they are doing it basically alone
Honestly, the CGI for Rook didn't bother me because he's an android and Damegd, so I think he should look a little uncanny

@@GeekZone210 It will if there are sequels

@@Fiorwestcoast bro said logic in ALIEN movie dawg it’s a fictional fucking movie ☠️

It's because the effect looked awful. If it had looked good I wouldn't have minded. But it looked jarringly terrible when just about every other set and effects looked good.

Andy is the best Synthetic since Bishop. Love that it respected face huggers and their importance to the Xenomorph hierarchy.
Haven’t seen the movie yet, was the AI worse than Leia deepfake?
@@Us3r739It wasn’t that bad. I had no idea it was CGI until reading these comments, He just looked like a glitched synthetic
@@Us3r739It’s Play Station 2 graphics
@@frankiegonzalez3122 no. It is bad. It was bad deepfake. Liked the film a lot though.
Took me right out of the movie, no need for its inclusion.
Awesome video 3c films 😊
The face your making on the thumbnail was the most acurate reinactment of everyones face when that hell baby was born😭😭😭😭
Bro the fucking offspring actually made my theater gasp bro and that’s rare for an all black theatre like mine
Dude that offspring thing terrified me. And I do NOT normally get scared of any type of horror film. I was so dissapointed tho because the audience I watched it with had almost no reaction :/
@@clarcknkbro me too. It being a hybrid had me so hyped for what they will introduce next
Same at my theatre too. Havent seen a monster give people that reaction ever
Someone snuck a dog into my theater and it had been quiet the entire time but then started barking as soon as that thing popped up on the screen.
No she didn't. My dog never barked. And wasn't snuck in. I always bring her to the movies. She's tiny. Everything you said was incorrect. Good movie thou. Terrifying hybrid@Sharpe1502
Papa 3c letting out the goods at the right time
This honestly feels like the " predators " of the frachise where they do callback after callback and refrence after refrence without doingn anyything really new , either way , Romulus still is a really good movie.
That’s a good comparison
This movie is easily better than predators
its the force awakens of alien lol
@@darkshat3077 you have a fair point.
@14:41 but did you see the dead rat in the cage and it was all mutated even though the goo fixed it it later mutated it.
The movie starts as a 9/10, but slowly starts going down, with the cheap fan service, the recycling of elements from old movies, and the end finished as a 5/10 for me, so overall 7/10. But it feels like a missed oportunity.
This. Once the third act hit, I felt the audiences intelligence was being insulted
there was a script with a intelligent alien being raised by a human that helps the humans defeat the aliens i wouldnt mind seeing that version
a smart xeno/engineer...
There’s a comic, where the corp make an android that looks identical to a xenomorph and it blends in with the others and helps the crew just like any other android but looks exactly like a xeno lmao
Andy was incredible and so were all the shots involving the anti gravity insane camera work so much fun
Both top tier characters going at it!
anyone complaining about the use of sir ian holmes is completely brain dead
they used his likeness BECAUSE HE JUST RECENTLY DIED and now his legacy is resurrected for this film and continues on, he’s an important part of the alien universe and this was very cool for them to do, there will be plenty more movies where they can do whatever they want
if lance dies and they bring back bishop to honor him are you gonna cry about that too
how daft to not understand this
Normal human beings think it's disrespectful to take dead people and make them dance around on puppet strings without their consent. Sorry.
I personally don't think human decency is braindead
@@Nudelyoshi3928 well i’ve got some bad news for you
@@Nudelyoshi3928 it's a robot and the family said it was cool
Sorry but the effect of him was so bad it would have been better without it. A 2d image super imposed on a 3d surface. Oh not to forget his disk was removed to upgrade Andy so how does that work?
Bjorn and Kay are cousins. I think Bjorn and Navarro were together. Rain asked who the father was and she said some nobody.
Bingo!
She said "some asshole" and who was the biggest asshole in the movie?.. Bjorn
@@mrclaydawg92her cousin?
@@1roachprod watch the movie again. And just because you and I know it's wrong for cousins to have sex doesn't mean these fictional characters in a fictional setting follow the same morals that we do
I love how big chap went out with a huge fight on the Romulus that only showed up as an aftermath slaughter. It reminds me of the Thing where you see the Norwegian base
I am totally mesmerized by your hand/gloves thingee. Didn't hear a word. But your hand gestures were great!
