As a 'kuripot' adult, I smile when I saw functional. I notice kasi more people here on TH-cam focused more on aesthetic than functionality(nothing wrong with it though). They buy things because its aethetically pleasing, not because its funxtional and will add value to their life.
The thing is if aethetics would make them productive than a functional set up then theres no drama. Lets not negate others choices. Anyways congrats to Nicole.
How a setup looks and how functional it is aren’t mutually exclusive. “Aesthetics” may also refer to simply how clean a space is. The visual state of an area can also psychologically affect the users so it indeed adds value to someone’s life. Your setup is probably “aesthetic” too, it just doesn’t look like extremely themed/ pretty setups here on yt. As long as it serves you and others’ setups serve them as well, then it’s all good.

oh wow this is pleasurably nostalgic from when i planned for my own workspace...i must say this is a rabbit hole that keeps on giving...especially that pneumatic arm mount...let me just say it will never end (i think) but loving every step...even ordered the same deskmat and in the same color...whew! even waited for everything to arrive before opening them...sadly was too excited to film everything...anyway thanks for taking me back to memory lane...

As a person in the IT industry, I personally struggle on acheiving financial literacy and your channel was a big help! Also I can't help but notice that you gain subs very fast knowing that you just started last year (around 600 subs per day on average based on my calculations haha). Looking at your setup, I noticed that we have the same mouse, light bar, and monitor mount. My monitor is an LG 34 ultrawide with an IPS panel. I opted out of VA because it has fewer colors. And yes, I also made the same mistake with the mount and struggle with it xD I thought the video covered standing desks, which I'm planning to invest in. Cool setup!
