Thank you for this! I was a tomboy and if I'd been born in 2000 or later, I would've been misdiagnosed as a trans boy. As a little girl, I even used to go to bed every night and pray I'd wake up in a boy's body.
Now, I'm grateful to have an intact woman's body, and I'm so worried for kids like I was, who just need time for their mental and emotional maturity to catch up to their physical maturity.

We tried for years to get my daughter with severe endometriosis to be able to have a hysterectomy. By the time we found someone who would do the surgery she was 24 years old. She was just about bedridden by the time she had the surgery. No one would do the surgery because she might have wanted to have children. Now they are doing mastectomies and hysterectomies on physically healthy people. These so called medical people are the ones who are mentally ill.

Going through Menopause, I asked about HRT. My doctor would not do it, she said the risks were cancers, breast cancers, blood clots, DVT, Heart disease, severe mood swings, etc.. but let’s give it to young boys.
If you natural hormone replacement instead of the synthetic pharmaceutical hormones you won't have the problems but you have to have these mixed especially for you at a specialized pharmacy and they only recently started covering the hormones for me after l got mad that our ins was covering hormones for trans women but not for biological women.
Plus, it's mandatory to offer hormone medication to dysphoria patients, but, it can be a whole process for peri-menopausal women to get it covered by their insurance.

But that is the ultimate goal of this sick ideology: the elimination of the idea of consent. If you research, you will see that many gender activists are convicted pedophiles, many university professors that advocate for this also defend the idea of MAP (minor attracted person) etc. In California they recently approved a law that if you have sex with a minor that’s 10 years younger than you, that’s ok. It’s all connected, and it’s pure evil.
That’s the point. The people pushing this barbarism ultimately want to normalize that too. If a child can consent to this, then they can consent to that as well.

45 years ago, i managed a gender assignment clinic as part of my management portfolio at a major university teaching hospital. We only treated adults. They underwent extensive psychological evaluation and were expected to live full-time for at least a year before any surgery or drugs. Even with that level of careful evaluation it became clear that more harm than good was being done and our organization along with most other reputable ones discontinued this kind of treatment. Suddenly, one day this whole industry just popped up again, but in a more shady way.
My own daughter called me a TERF when I tried to talk to her about trans ideology. She’s a child psychologist in the Bay Area, doctorate from San Francisco. The indoctrination runs deep.
Edit: thank you for all the feedback. For clarity, she called me a TERF when I was discussing trans women in female sports. She’s not involved in a gender clinic, nor has she referred any students for medicalization. My point was, this is hammered into university students, at least on the West Coast, as settled science, coming down from the medical world as proven facts. I do think she is starting to see the cracks, and I keep gently urging her to think more rationally about the entire ideology. She recently told me she realizes this is a social contagion.

They haven’t done it yet. The secret “gender clinic” at the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Alberta still exists. The laws which allow men into women’s and girls washrooms and sports still exist. The public school lessons teaching children from kindergarten up that biology isn’t real and that there is no such thing as “boys and girls”, still exists.
These draconian changes to law were enacted in virtual secret and inspite of the UCP’s political speeches against trans ideology, they in fact have not repealed anything.

As a young girl, i considered myself to be a tomboy. I played with all the boys in the neighborhood and identified with them. When I entered puberty, I was shocked that I was going to menstruate for years. It was painful and messy. But one of the issues I hated the most about being a woman was the power inequality. I was expected to be passive and to passively wait to be chosen by a man. I could not sexually approach men because I would be considered "loose" and "easy to get." I objected to the power inequalities between men and women. I didn't want children. Over time, I married and realized that I could surf, for example, something women didn't do. Later on I had children - two beautiful daughters. Life isn't perfect. We have to accept who we are and I accepted who I was and I did.

My heart dropped when I was listening to the two surgeons who were operating on the tv trans child Jazz. They obviously did not have the slightest idea of what they were doing, one shockingly saying “WHY did you cut that!?” To the other during the awkward process. What made them think they could join mucus membrane to outer skin, move hair growing areas inside the body, and force blood circulation to service different areas than normal? The justice system cannot physically de-sexualize a r@pist, but they can do it to a confused child who has not yet had an org@sm or a baby.
it's not "treatment" it's butchery, of the body, of language, of the soul itself.

I'm so glad that I wasn't brought up in this time. I was sexually abused as a very young child and wanted desperately to be a boy because, in my young mind, I believed that boys wouldn't be sexually abused. I was a tomboy with a very short haircut and a boyish manner. You can be sure that I would've been one of these confused, young people who believe that they were meant to be another sex...that God was wrong. Now, I'm happily married to a good man and have three daughters. I would never have had that opportunity had I been allowed to "change my sex" as a young person.

As a parent of a daughter who made a damn good effort in trying to transition at 13-15… it was hell. I NEVER allowed anything, not even a binder. On day one, ( 7 years ago), I found information that really questioned this rhetoric. I found a parents group on line, and thank god my husband was in line with me. She was the class ROGD girl. So many co morbidities, hospital stays, school refusal, friendships lost… hers and mine, school change, self harm, eating disorders, running away… etc etc. Too many therapists to count, too many meds to name. Tears shed… a seas worth. Self hatred… so deep. It took me 2 years to figure out a neuropsychologist evaluation might be needed. Diagnosis? Autism. She was 14, and her life turned around from there. She was relieved that there was an explanation for why she felt so off kilter.

Over indexing on being nice, as referenced in this discussion, can be the most destructive behavior women engage in. Often we trust professionals more than we should, who literally spend minutes with the child. Mothers are forever, good job Mom.
I'm glad you found a diagnosis for your daughter. They are not trying to find the root cause of this they just want to give out drugs and surgeries without proper diagnosis. It's being pushed in schools too so we have to look into every influence on the kids

@@CertainMood yes and yes, plus I watched the actual video of the doctors discussing how their patients didn't understand the full ramifications of the so-called gender affirming care they were receiving/were to receive.
"Modifying sex traits does not modify sex." Should be obvious, but definitely needs to be said.
My lesbian aunt recently had breast cancer and had to get one of her breasts removed, she had to beg the doctors to also remove the other breast that was healthy.
The doctors were suggesting things like prosthetics to conceal the missing breast, adamant that she could regret the decision to remove the other.
They only agreed to it because my aunt used to work at that hospital for years and knew the doctors personally.
How is this level of concern about even a potential regret completely absent here.
My aunt is almost 60, married to a woman thats even older than her and is very masculine anyways, yet the doctors still fought to convince her of the risks she was taking.
Comparatively here you have children with 0 life experience, a body that isnt even fully developed, multiple mental illnesses and a very confused sense of identity that is not in line with reality getting their breasts removed "just in case" and they can just "get them back later".

My MIL also had bc, did have double mastectomy, after insisting she didn't want to risk getting bc again. Turns out she had the beginning of bc, a different type, in the "non-cancerous" breast. We were all relieved that she had decided for the double. Her age may have had something to do with the willingness to do the actual surgery, she was over 60.
I earned my doctorate and completed my hours for licensing years ago. I refuse to get licensed because the boards punish licensed psychologists who go against gender affirming care. That is why many psychologists are not coming out against gender ideology.

The radical center on this platform exposes what psychologists and psychotherapists are being taught in university. She has many good interviews with practitioners who do not want any part of this. Unfortunately she was in university and they blackballed her and disenrolled her so that she could not get a degree.
Every board is now like this including nursing. I am not aware of boards of social work. The psychology profession has overextended itself into legitimizing mental illness and predating the vulnerable.

It’s about the level of understand a child does NOT have of biological systems and functions nor the life experience to make such decisions. My daughter was in the midst of mental health crises through the majority of her middle school and early high school years. She thought she wanted to become a boy and is a lesbian. She was dressing as a male and binding her breasts. While in a family therapy session, she called me out as an unsupportive mother, because at 14 years of age, I had not taken her a doctor to start the treatments for her to transition to a boy. I told her that she couldn’t even get out of the bed in the morning without crying and having a meltdown- there was no way I was taking her to start a sex change. I told her once she was mentally stable AND over 18 years of age, if she still wanted to be a male, I would support her 💯 and take her to any medical appointments and procedures. Until then, I would support her sexuality but would not condone medications or procedures. Within 3 months, she stopped binding her breasts and started dressing more feminine. She’s now 20, and has a steady boyfriend. She may consider herself bisexual (and that’s fine with me) but she’s currently in a heterosexual relationship. Thank God I had the common sense and fortitude to stand my ground and listen to my gut. Had I not and allowed the mutilation and hormones, her life would have been horrendous due to irreversible damage

It has been common practice for student doctors to learn how to do pelvic exams by practicing on women who have been anesthetized for surgery, without their consent for quite some time. Women going in for random surgeries could have a line of interns lining up to penetrate them without them ever knowing about it. A large percentage of doctors SAed patients during their training, just because they were told to do so, so it's not surprising that that they would abuse patients in other ways when told that it's common practice.
Paid volunteers were always an option, but it was cheaper to do it to unconscious women without telling them. Their excuse for not getting permission beforehand was that they were afraid that the women would refuse. They didn't want them to have that option.
Only a few states have outlawed this practice.
So I don't find it surprising that doctors don't give a crap about ethics.

I asked if they still had my record and they said yes.As we got talking, they began pressing me toward getting a sex change. I never brought it up, THEY did. This was while I had not yet been seen due to the pan demic. Over 5 hours of questions, they kept pointing out the option. When I flatly refused , she said "You should do it... you can't get pregnant" " Go for it, the taxpayers will pay for it!"...
( I had plenty of surgery due to my endometriosis... Hysterectomy was not fun).
I took this to their manager and got the run around.I wouldn't want Compass Health to treat my cat.
Next time I called, they had destroyed my record there.

One thing that you may not be aware of is that parents who refuse to go along with transitioning their children, lose those kids to children's services with the State! I live in Oregon, a very blue State. But I know of another in Montana! Its in our schools and the teachers and school counselors purposely keep the child's confusion from the parents. It's criminal!

When I was in college, more years than I care to admit to, I remember reading that back in the 17th century, parents of children of the Vennia boys choir would castrate their adolescent boys so they wouldn’t go through puberty. The parents did this so their sons could continue to to sing in the choir. I remember thinking, how could parents do that to their own children. I was able to take solace in the fact that was hundreds of years ago, and at least that level of insanity would never happen today. That was many years ago!

I didn't get it at first, then the mammo tech said that he/she says that because mammograms "flatten our breasts like pancakes" okay... If you trust without question your medical professional, and they tell you your child will kill themselves, I can understand the confusion, but not the ignorance, anyone in this era has access to google/knowledge. But some parents are all about the social status within the ideological movement and the attention created for social media. Such as 8 passengers, those children suffered, it took a long time for intervention. Yet if you resist this particular ideological stance, in some countries/states, your child could be removed immediately from your care, your parental rights erased. Again this inconsistent outcomes make you question why.
Schools bring in outside lobbies to proselytize the children. Schools socially transition children and keep secrets from parents.
About 7 years ago, I was in college majoring in social work and all of my courses were full of these euphemistic treadmills. They'd spend the first part of every section telling you what words you were allowed to use and what words would get you kicked out of class, I didn't last a year. Can't imagine how bad it is now
What college did you go to? I just want to make sure that my kids would never apply there.
As a nurse my state is dictating language. Addiction is out and it is now a disorder. I’m very sympathetic to any addiction. Euphemism are helpful. Empathy is useful. We are required to pay for this training to be licensed.
@@arinam2741 It's all over the place. The only way to protect your kids is to talk to the profs, ask to see course syllabi and rquired readings, talk to students currently in the program. Maybe that feels like a lot of work but hey, your kid is about to invest in an institution where they'll spend 4 or more years and lay the groundwork for their entire professional career. Researching the school and the program is a good idea for ANY prospective student-- but in psych or social work these days, it's a necessity, to avoid the gaslighting.
These procedures are equivalent to Chinese foot binding and lobotomies.
