I reckon it's because, as a musician, we are connected to those dark parts of ourselves that allow us to create art. We relate and love watching comedians who are able to express that so freely. I love the raw creativity of comedy as an art form. With music you are constantly making things and then picking out the stuff that works, testing it out; with comedy you are doing the same thing so the process is super relatable & on top of that the uniqueness of an artists perspective is captivating unlike anything else out there.
