Burns 10, Coagulation necrosis

In a burn, the proteins in an exposed tissue denature and coagulate, changng from physiological active proteins into dead protein constituants. Dearh of cells or tissue is referred to as necrosis. In thermal coagulation the colloidal proteins become solid or semi-solid and can never regain their correct biochemical living structure.

Funny you should use an egg as an example. Because a little bit of raw eggwhite is very effective in healing smaller burns. And it stops the pain from the burn quickly too.
