My eye brow went up when you told me I need to pay extra for the steak that I just paid to get access to lol...that's not the jam for me...I'd definitely feel some type of way lol.
Yea both brows went up looking at the menu 😭. Won’t be returning there anytime soon

Another wonderful vlog. This series really has me contemplating MSC. I always thought MSC and NCL were “bougie” and not really kid friendly, but they may be worth a try. Thank you.
MSC is not bougie at all, it’s more than f a budget cruise but the ships are nicer looking than Carnival. NCL is very fancy tho

Hi Fam! Food looked good! Jazz you got done bone marrow! Love the face! Like relief and disappointment all in one! The White party looks so fun! On my last cruise we had Red party but it was too cold so it was inside and my son couldn’t go! Glad the girls got to enjoy it!

Hey Rich & Jazzy : We enjoyed the video & Butcher’s Cut. We only ate in MDR & were disappointed most nights. Maybe we should of tried Steak House , but very expensive???? I like MSC a lot. Their base prices are the lowest out there but they make up for it with their upcharge venues which are more expensive than other Cruise lines. I guess it all evens out.

If you prebook Butcher's Cut online it's now $99 and that's still with the limited menu. Maybe it's actually cheaper to book it on the ship or the prices have just gone way up. It was already expensive enough.

Yowza, Im thinking no way to upcharge after upcharge... that is going a bit too far, and I thank you for sharing this experience. Next cruise we will be doing pretty much what we always do and enjoy the regular dining room that was already paid for with the cruise fare....these upcharges x3 are a no go.

So clearly you were saying that if you buy the package don’t do the upgrade steaks, eat whats available for your paid package… and clearly also you were saying if you want any of the specialty steaks purchase them à la cart… either way you are saving money. Makes perfect sense thank you.
And second point, don’t confuse a New York sirloin with a “top” sirloin.. a New York is cut from the upper sirloin… where is a top sirloin is cut from the the “top sirloin”. Both subprime are very close to each other on the cows middle back portion….

I've been on a few cruises and I've noticed the Americans don't buy the maximum food packages even though it would work out cheaper for them even if they used 75% of it. Why pay full price for any of the restaurants.

That MSC steakhouse is a joke! Two tiny steaks and a lamb chop, without even offering a ribeye or NY strip that’s not uncharged. Bogus European interpretation of a steakhouse. Google the Crown Grill on Princess, wider choices of steak, plus lamb chops, seafood, and only 29.00 bucks per person. Add a lobster tail for 10 dollars more. MSC is price gouging at its best.
Yes the steakhouse price was crazy. Only thing made it decent was the price to book the sailing.
