A big reason why you see pros C9 is because of how complex and fast-paced the game is at that level. In pro level, one misstep gets you killed. One bad ult or one bad fight snowballs into losing an entire game. The pros need to devote most of their brainpower to tracking all the necessary variables, so they have little to spare to track point. And the point doesn't even require that much monitoring anyway. As long as one player is on it, it stays contested. So pros like to cycle out members to just lightly tag the point, because everyone needs to focus on the teamfight. Occasionally, in high pressure scenarios, pros C9 because they are too focused on the mentally demanding teamfight. Ik it's a joke and Ik it's funny when pros C9, just wanted to share the general point-tagging strategy with everyone, and why C9's continue to happen. tldr; Pro OW is super fast-paced and complicated and the point doesn't require that much attention so that's why C9's happen. Also, Ik it's a joke and I wrote this to share a general pro strategy with everyone.
a pro strategy should also be keeping track of the main objective. winning a team fight is all well and good, but if your team is so wrapped up in it you miss the main point and a single player sitting in the back guts your strategy theres no point. in all reality, as fast paced as it is, one should never forget the main objective they have as a defense or an attacking force, as that is their primary duty in the game. highlights are good, team fights are good. but if you focus so hard on them you lose the game, revaluation is needed on how far you push. sometimes its better to leave one or two enemies alive and running back, than chasing them and losing big
Pro OW is super fast-paced, and the point is so easy to keep contested usually, so in high pressure situations C9's can happen. But yeah, it really does feel like you threw away a game.
I really enjoy your compilations! May I suggest a video idea? I’d love to see a compilation of best technical difficulties/pauses during tournaments/OWL/OWC. Anyways, keep up the great work man.
my favorite part is how the last clip has the wrong audio but IT IS STILL A HOUSTON C9
wait it is wrong audio. Good catch.
@@jawid_ Did you C9 your last clip as a closing homage to the rest of the video?
I was trying to find where Blase was not even realizing Note wasn't even playing
I just realized Ja Wid mixed up the last clip's audio with another Houston C9 clip earlier in the video

@@SpeedKing.. if I am, that's fine by me. I don't mind being put in that category weather it be for better or worse.
@@aster1760 yeah bro, it's fine, all I'm saying is you shouldn't critique the highest level of play when you aren't at their level

Another memorable one is the double Gibraltar C9 on the same point in the Valiant/Mayhem game in playoffs
That’s one thing us low rank players have. We always play the point
That intro was pure evil lmfao

What happened to the infamous Justice c9 against Dallas?
Good job with showing the score, it's cool to see what map it happened on. Map 5 C9s are much more cringe. Keep doing this, it's a really nice touch!
For as long as I have been playing this game, im glad I never had to experience a C9.
YOU ARE SO FUCKING GOOD AT THESE MAN, KEEP IT UP MUCH LOVE
Payload got corona
The sad part is this isn't all of them. there are still so many other C9s that didn't make it into this montage
Ja Wid even has another compilation on this channel - these all were fairly recent
You messed up the c9 for Houston the ending was for Houston based Dallas
What about a compilation of owl players emoting
Title is good
Could we please have the worst staggers
You forgot dragon vs Seoul may melee
I always wondered how c9 became a thing
8:38 team rein doesn't have a rein and team dva doesn't have a dva

I never knew this existed. Thank you.
@@jawid_ you’re welcome
A lot of work went into this, showing some of the C9s from the replay viewer instead of just using the broadcast footage. Well done mate!

Kinda makes me mad that most players have better gamesense than this but these are the "pros".😂
I upvoted for the title "when pros keep their social distance"
