I have a Luminor Due 42mm and I hate to say it, but I think you're right. This watch is a much better execution of a thinner smaller Panerai for smaller wrists while also retaining the Panerai DNA.
@@nwatch1448 he never said 300 I know but when comparing he kept mentioning the other as being only 100, just sounded like he was inferring this was more. Thats how It sounded to me anyway. Just questioned it as I'm interested in it for myself. I've actually seen it listed both ways on some watch sales sights. NBD I know.
The critique of the Due line only makes sense if you plan on diving with your watch and 30M won't cut it. Do you dive? Any idea what percentage of people who own Pans dive?
Bear in mind that 30m (3 ATM) water resistance in watches means that it is splash proof, but shouldn't be immersed at all. While that is ok for a dress watch, it is not really safe for a 'daily wear', and the Due is styled like a diver, which makes it look somewhat ridiculous; imagine Omega bringing out a 3 ATM dress watch, with a Helium Escape Valve.
Here's a tip, go to settings and set the playback speed to 1.25
1.50

Then you should have got a Radiomir 😅
I think it looks great on the green strap.
Great model and more modern than the 512. Bought it preowned a month ago, put it on a custom strap...a real beauty!
You make a great point my friend. I'm going to be buying one soon 😎👍
I’ve been thinking about Luminors but this model has really made me rethink. Great looking watch.
The Luminor is superior in every single way.
I have same 6.5 wrist and this radiomir is the best option. I’m also like automatic pam620 which is similar with size but much more expensive
Killer piece and definitely a sleeper!
What make of strap is that? It really pairs well with the watch.
Wow, you’re slagging accuracy of +5 sec/day ! In my book that’s pretty bloody good.
Good review. Thank you for the video. Do you still have the piece? Does it get much wrist time?
The 512 movement is based on a Piaget ultra thin movement where is this new based from?
It's (claimed to be) a new, entirely in-house calibre - p.1000
Beautiful
I'm thinking of making this my first Pam. I thought this 574 was rated at 100m but this review is suggesting it's 300m ?
So what is it ?
It’s 100m water resistant as stated at severs points throughout the review. When does this review suggest that it’s 300m?

I got a glycine combat sub . 10mm thick 200m wr . Come on panerai .
Luminor Due sucks. Luminor Quaranta is far far better option at 40mm and 100m water resistance.
