@@qjones6593 I don't know if they've changed it over the years but 4 years ago it was windproof www.backcountry.com/helly-hansen-lifa-loft-insulator-jacket-mens
Not sure if you mean -10º C or F, but either way this would be a good base layer for those kinds of temps. This jacket alone would not be warm enough. Thanks for watching
Hi, intend to hike a mountain this December. Expected temp to be about -5 to 0 degrees Celcius. Would you recommend this or the HH Verglas instead? Thanks
I think either would be a good choice but I like the Verglas as an insulating layer without the hood. When you start to add layers I find the hood can bunch up. But some people like it because you can easily throw the hood up when it gets cold. I like to just carry a hat instead. It's kind of personal preference but I would say both are similar in warmth.
You look like an idiot in this jacket, it is to big for you! You have to grow big belly to fit the jacket. This days most of jackets are made for big belly, small arms people.. Not for sports man.. Helly Hansen became a garbidge..
Whats the pocket situation? Is there an inner or outer breast pocket?
Did you happen to watch the video?
How good is this jacket at blocking wind?
kc It’s great.... it’s windproof.
It's absolutely not windproof, not only does it not say that on their website but that material is never windproof.@@AdventureRig

What about the sleeves if it's colder outside? Is it still comfortable on the arms, or its too cold if its around freezing or below 32?Thanks.
retkvi It’s perfect for me around those temps but I am a pretty warm person.
Everyone who reviews the jacket stated how packable it is, but noone shows it compressed or gives dimensions.
Sorry I usually put a shot in of the jacket compressed but didn’t do it for this review.
Which size do you wear?
