Great review! Many aspects highlighted in a objective and critical way, well done!
I do have the XDJ 1000 (MK1) I just don't know why Pioneer did stop making them as they are virtualy the same deck as the MK2. I do wish that they did put a adjustment for the platter, Instead of the "Touch/Release button"
There are a few subtle changes, but overall yes, same deck. The added navigation buttons on the right of the screen are a big improvement on the MK1 in my opinion though.
and better sound quality. you can read FLAC too.
Thank you so much for this tutorial, so helpful !!
good vid, youre good at explaining things
Good review, thanks
Pioneer hasn't come out with a comparable solution for Serato users after all these years which is a shame. You either buy the ancient 900NXS or sell your children for the 3000.
Hi! Great video! I'm trying to connect my XDJ-1000mk2 with Traktor Pro 3.3 in HID mode but it's not working. Any help?
Cheers for the great video !! 😊
I have a non responsive Rev button how to fix as it is playing in reverse
when playing in link mode (inside rekordbox software), can you mix 2 tracks with just 1 XDJ ?
Considering this one is (still) around 1200 bucks, I *strongly* recommend everyone to get a Prime unit instead. Already better than any CDJ, and lightyears ahead of this XDJ toy. Beatjump only up to 4 beats? All performance controls via that outdated screen? Combined start/stop adjust? Cheap plastic everywhere? Only one USB port? Do yourself a favor and support the more innovative brand.
@MICK Yes, being lazy and getting sponsored by them, fanboy. I rather take the son than the rusty old daddy, thank you.
@Mick Logtenberg what's the reason, Mick? Any argument you present, Denon has an answer for and more for less.
You can start the track then turn the knob and have it stop slowly so thats not true at all.
One player looks bigger than the other
Hello phase meter isnt working in link mode? Its strange because waveform yes, and the RB software has these information.
What i hate is the track name represantion, there`s no possibility to show artist - track name? Only track name? No artist, no coment, no genre, no lenght and bpm? Why? When you are using laptop RB or TSP you have all these informations
If you have your filename in order you can chose to show that instead of the tag info. Personally I prefer to have the info I need in the file name and then I always see the same info in different players and in any software I use. This also comes in handy when using wav-files that has no tag and if you mix mp3's and wav's they will show up the same on the screen.
en español lo haras?
+ARCEEX Si, estara en youtube en breve
Gracias
DjTechZone no lo hiciste...

DJ ADITYA SAMANTA still not in 2018. I am very disappointed in this
very bad side of view and light (((( not all viewable on screen ((((
I paid £550 for the mk1 the mk2 is £1200 what a rip off pioneer
Randy Zof new?
Niko Natsikas yes when they first came out
No you didn't.
Jupiter Son I wish I could find one for £550 😂😂😂
@@randyzof8395 hahahahahhaha
you have bad description and name, its 1000 not 2000
Oops thanks! I guess that is wishful thinking :-)
This is now obsolete
Mac Joseph how so.?
Pee Jay Denon DJ SC6000
Denon is the Android of the dj world. I debated for months on denon but my heart made me stay with pioneer. Something about those demons just does not feel right by me. Maybe it’s my style of mixing idk they just have to much flash and bling. Nothing like a paid of pioneer players. Sorry .
@@Ckny718 I like how denon is adding more use of creativity to Djing.
Mac Joseph maybe for some people ... I could not find any vibe playing with the setup. Maybe for certain styles and dj’s ... I’m still into holding long mixes layering and getting into a groove. I like to be able to find my own creativity without having a button for every little detail. This is where you become a button pusher . I guess if your a quick mix and slamming tracks in kind of guy and messing around with all those hot cues than this is the gear for you... for me it just doesn’t do it. I love my xdj100mk2 djm750mk2 setup
